They would argue that you put it in that mode, you can take it out of that mode. All you need to do is turn the car off and put the keys under your windshield wiper. For some reason, that works

That doesn't make it a men's rights issue. Men's rights issues revolve around systematic imbalance, not a girl and guys private breakup as individuals. Dont call a horse a zebra

I don't think this is a mensrights issue, i think a bad decision was made. Nobody can predict how they feel. Hell i've had different opinions about things than i did 2 years ago, it can happen. We age, mature, and most importantly learn. You may not think you want kids at one point, but maybe your peers around you start families and you see how happy they are, and something that seemed icky became beautiful. Downvoted.

I'm uncomfortable with this one for the reason that the video cuts out and when he starts hitting the threat is gone. Absolutely she should have kept her hands to herself, but jesus christ, that's not self defense at that point. Even man on man, that's assault.

This may be a shocker to you, but if you have kids, you have to look after your kids. That's not having a butler or a maid, that's responsibility. This isn't to have someone cook or clean for you. it's to make sure your kids are accounted for so you can go to work. if that costs more than what your income is, then you don't work and do it yourself. I don't understand how this is so complicated to you. are you one of those "childfree" people?

Imagine the reaction if a male day time TV host had three men on the show and then brought out three women to strip for them... I pointed out what you're talking about. There's no outrage there either. Please, do those men who do fight for men's rights a service and pick your battles.

Ugh, it's not that. It's not that the expenses exceed OUR income. it's that that ONE EXPENSE would exceed her income, so because of that, working isn't an option right now. meaning no chances of promotion or raises on the horizon. if it's pretty simple, perhaps you'll actually read the post before trying to libertarianize it...

Ugh, this is the kind of idiocy that makes my head hurt. I never said i couldn't afford my kids. What i'm saying is that my Fiance doesn't currently work because the daycare bill is actually more than her paycheque...

This is irrelevant to this sub. My fiance and i between us have 4 kids, and we do fine getting by. However, because of the price of childcare, she cannot afford to work. it costs more money for daycare than she makes at work. She's going back to college next year to change that. That's because they're no rational "Other Side" though in those examples. Honestly, when Chef left, it kinda prooved them right. They also knew they'd get in shit for that one, so all the credits are "John and Jane smith" lol safe spaces... that was funny

i don't think that's why - i honestly think their ratings went down because their last two seasons kinda milked the Jenner thing right to death. This season is a breath of fresh air. They still tackle the issue, i do find they're a lot more subtle now though

When South Park parodies current events, their goal is also just to get you to think about it. Not just tell you how they feel *(like every other show), they present both sides of the argument and let you decide for your self, in a hilarious way. All they do is use logic and objectiveness in their comedy.

/r/PussyPassDenied26/05/16 11:50 PM

Either you missed my point or I explained it poorly. To simultaneously spite the loud table (Which argued, as we all saw), and to get a publicity win out of it, that's what I would do to keep other people coming in
/r/PussyPassDenied26/05/16 11:26 PM
0

yes, and it would work for people who don't already have a primary source of income. To them, it's a matter of using a different "Debit Card". That card will have your child support payment on it. So instead of using the child support payment to buy beer and your income to buy groceries, you're using your income to buy beer and your child support to buy groceries. essentially it will work for everyone who doesn't work.
/r/PussyPassDenied26/05/16 11:20 PM
-3

The problem is that many people who receive child support payments don't use food stamps. Many of them it's literally a difference as to which card they decide to pay with at which location. Good idea in theory, may work for some, but that's about it
/r/PussyPassDenied26/05/16 11:03 PM
-16

Depending on the establishment, maybe i speak a little soon, but we don't know where this took place.

I'm assuming that was a manager, and if that were me, i'd have given the rest of the restaurant (patrons) their meals free because their meals were interrupted by these entitled cunts. Just like that story of the black woman who got moved to first class because she had to deal with the racist woman beside her (We've all heard it).
/r/PussyPassDenied26/05/16 09:39 PM
22

Not PPD. Just an ignorant bitch who thinks kids are a reason to ignore rules
/r/PussyPassDenied26/05/16 09:36 PM
3

Good idea in theory, but almost next to impossible in practice. Child support can pay for the following things: Groceries Rent Bills etc. There really is no way of controlling it. So how does this card work?
/r/PussyPassDenied26/05/16 09:31 PM
1

Not only that, but there's also the face that the porn industry pays women better than it pays men ;) hahaha
/r/MensRights25/05/16 01:38 PM

There's nothing wrong with posting family pics. But think about what we're posting. The thought "There may be some scrutiny" on this, isn't an unreasonable thought, especially with the world we live in. I don't think there's anything wrong with the picture, I think it's a picture of a parent taking amazing care of a sick child. I wouldn't be sharing that photo though. That's just not smart
/r/MensRights21/05/16 04:22 AM
1

You're 100% right, and my feeling wasn't about male nudity. It was more "why is this picture on the internet". I agree with you, I just think that there's some things that (knowing the internet), its' better kept to yourself, or to your family. we shouldn't be broadcasting everying just because we can. Example, I have my son this weekend. My spouse and I kept the kids up until almost midnight having a bonfire and looking at the stars. (he's 6). It was great bonding, and we took pictures and they…
/r/MensRights21/05/16 04:14 AM
3

Because double standards are acceptable, women are always victims, and men are always horny evil rape quiffs or something.
/r/MensRights21/05/16 03:33 AM
1

it was more the fact the picture was shared than anything. If you take nudity out of the equation, you still have plenty of photos. There's the naked siblings taking a bath, you have a million breastfeeding photos, or a dad and son peeing together. To clarify what i was saying in the comment, my initial thought was not a sexual thought. it was more "Why is there a picture of this". I showed my fiance this pic without context and her response was "That kid looks like he's sick, you'd do the same …

I first thought it was bad that i was seeing coaches get in shit for simply driving a kid home from hockey practice (with the parent's consent), with complaints from other kids about how inappropriate it was... But even I thought "The hell?" when i first saw the picture. Then the context kicked in, and I realized "oh shit". Context is very important.

You've clearly never had your hands cut by glass, or never got pulled into a car with one hand and a gun in the other hand. Just because YOU don't recognize risk, doesn't mean the cop doesn't. They're trained to protect themselves before anyone else, because being a cop is still a career. You still get to go home. If you feel that strongly about it, proove me wrong. Show me where the law states you don't have to listen. I'm all ears. Until you can, get off the "All Cops Abuse Power" bandwagon, g…
/r/PussyPassDenied20/04/16 10:17 PM

I'd also argue that the cop is much more aware of his rules and procedures than you are. If a cop pulls you over, and says "you have to roll your window down all the way", you have to roll the window down all the way. He told her why, and it wasn't a bad reason. He warned her, and gave her plenty of opportunities to comply. If you go around convincing people that they don't have to listen, when in reality THEY DO, then you're encouraging this shit.

Are you an idiot? or just intentionally ignorant? That man's life, even with proof that he didn't do it, it still going to have a permanent scar just because of that greedy bitches "Accusation". And the fact that she coached the kid into it is the sickening part of it. She made her kid experience that just so she could win custody. and the worst part is the accuracy of a lie detector? For shame.

Right let's just believe the mother because she said so... If it were one question to one person, i'd question the lie detector. When both are questioned with multiple questions, and the woman cries afterwards, then perhaps she got caught in her own lie. Because of the .01% chance of error, they're not submittable in court. But women can do nothing wrong, right? especially in custody cases...

That's not violence. He pushed his way in. He didn't strike her or grab her, he pushed past her. I'd do the same fucking thing. If your baby mama doesn't want you in because her new BF is over, then there's something not right going on, and that child shouldn't be there anyway. he was being protective as any father should. If this were the other way around, the guy would have been arrested for keeping the kid from the mother.

You can't just say "in STEM fields" and have that be it. What are they doing in the STEM fields? Does this include CEOs AND bottom of the line Grunts? At the end of the day, men AND women are getting the same pay for the same job. The difference is that there are more men in the field, and there are more ambitious men than there are women in these fields, so the more ambitious people move up to the higher paid positions. You have to look at all the facts, and not ignore this.

If you're too retarded to not even check usernames, then i'm not gonna bother with some idiot neckbeard retard... I do understand it. What i'm trying to tell you is that your point is a minor bullshit point that really doesn't do anything except cause a problem. The amount of actual women who are offended by the word "Hysterical" is equal to the amount of guys who are offended by the word "Dick" (and you've never seen that thrown around, have you?) When it applies to men, I pick my battles... like custody and law, or rape issues.... Holy shit feminists pick your battles. You're a SJW who denies being one...
/r/PussyPassDenied18/07/15 12:27 AM

But it's not in bad taste. She's using the word by it's definition, and appropriately. The woman was becoming excessively emotional, and would not listen to a Judge in a Courtroom. That's essentially textbook hysterical. And you're right, you shouldn't have to look far and wide when you're THAT willing to call out oppression and sexism on something so plain. Nobody cares about the origin of the word, you're making modern feminism look bad. Pick your battles.

It has everything to do with men's rights when it comes to equal treatment of people. The guy who made this joke on camera was fired from his job because of it, even though the work he did had NOTHING to do with it, and when the woman does it, the news staff finds it hilarious. It's pointing out another double standard.

There are just as many for violence to each gender. How oftendo you hear the joke "what do you say to a woman with 2 black eyes" joke? Yes, its more shock humor, but a joke is a joke. 90 percent of all funny jokes have a victim

This is my problem with this sub. Its a joke.that is all. A lot of people post jokes from Facebook in here and whine about how it encourages violence against men. There would also be a "family bathroom" that was meant for changing diapers and such, separate from that.

Because I've been here for months and generally what mrm fights for is for equal treatment in family court, and fighting against false rape accusations, and all around equality. You act like a child, angry and cursing out feminists, calling them "nazis" no matter what their stance is, wether they are going too far or not. People like you are an embarrassment to any cause you claim to stand for, and the cause is better off without you... without you it can be taken more seriously

this seems more of a parternal rights issue than a mens rights issues, but legal or not, my relationship with my son is more important thatn the school's laws. I would be leaving with my son. Schools have no right to step in between child and parent unless there is danger to the child. Edit: the fact that his mother had the child stay with you, but would not let you pick him up from school makes absolutely no sense...

you sound rediculous......... you don't like it, so you flame it as hard as possible.. That is propaganda... feminism was never about taking over, or making men look like scum.. Those are the extremists, kind of like how you look at it... from an extreme perspective. You're no better. the evidence is in the arguements about "equal pay" and "equal rights"... how are you blind that that is actually an issue to some.. Don't flame the entire group because of the few extremists...
/r/MensRights24/08/12 09:49 PM
4

the original intent for feminism was for gender equality, because 40,50 years ago, they were not considered equal. THAT i can respect. As long as it's in the name of equality. I agree many feminists have gone way too far and overboard, but i will never argue against equality. if not, you're no better than the feminists that have gone too far.

it's also why activism is flawed. If people want equality, you should fight for equality, not "fight fire with fire" in a sense of addressing that only men have issues. Im all about mens rights, and postering is great, but i personally think it could be done better than that.
/r/MensRights09/08/12 09:10 AM

rape is forcing sex onto someone in a situation where it's non-consentual. I don't care what the laws say, if you got drunk and woke up after having sex and regretted it, well you should have been careful. It's not rape just because you regret it. In Missouri, if that's the law, half of you should be convicted sex offenders.

you've never heard the figure of speech "he/she'd kill me if they found out?" 99% of the time it just means they'll be upset AS ANYONE WOULD IF THEY FOUND OUT THEY WERE BEING CHEATED ON..hell i know i was... that line doesnt define abuse. she's playing the victim card, She cried rape and got was what was coming to her, good riddance. she called bullshit on the false rape, she more than likely called false death threat on her boyfriend too, because she's a liar, and thats what they do. they lie t…

i agree that it doesnt, and the guy has indeed lead a shitty life and my heart goes out to him. Im merely saying there were some choices he encountered that he could have made better decisions about, avoiding some of this entirely, without giving up his dignity. He does some pretty selfish shit, including allowing himself to be jailed when he didnt have to, and on multiple times leaving his son when he didnt have to, but instead to go live in the woods? fuck that, that's not parenting, that's pu…

Because it's as equally sexist as the line "All black people rob banks and eat fried chicken". It's stereotyping and it's unfair When my ex and i split, i couldnt even get a female friend to hang out with me because they assumed i was just trying to get laid. I was stuck in the predicament that my guy friends didnt want to be around me cause i was down, and the girls just assumed i was trying to get laid. Not because i was, but because im a man But generalizing the entire group for the actions o…

thats pretty fucked up.. i mean, i cant deny though, that there were some things he could do to protect himself... Starting with wear a condom Don't tell your son that he was never wanted and was an accident and expect sympathy.

shes a crazy, man.. get away from her. It's only going to get worse, especially if when you try to address it, you get threatened. When she's out, pack away your posessions, tell her it's enough, and run while you can

Is this from insecurity with herself? or is this because she doesnt trust you? either way, it should be dealt with. Behavior like that is unacceptable

well, this isnt an arguement about the holocaust or anything remotely close to that. It's about circumcision. I disagree with you, and im not passionate enough to continue to argue on the internet about it.

The actual head of the penis is the sensitive area, not the skin covering it.

it's not mutilation. It's just snipping off a bit of skin. If anything, it will be easier for him to keep it clean... Besides that, it's really nothing. The baby feels about as much pain as they do getting a needle. It's unnecessary, but theres nothing really wrong with it.

theres a difference between responding with forcing them into submission, and defending yourself. If she came at him fists flying and he just used a pressure point on her wrist (for example) just to sit her down, he'd be viewed as the abuser, and my point is, that is not right.
/r/MensRights01/04/12 05:49 AM

the worst part of that is even if he'd have just grabbed her wrist and sat her down, no violence or anything, he's be the one considered attacking her

people have a hard time stepping up when things happen to them to begin with. I guess i see how that could make it harder, but seriously. if my next door neighbour got tried in court for rape/sexual assult, and was found not guilty, the neighbourhood will still never look at him the same again. His life is forever scarred by it. That doesnt exactly seem fair either

I think it would hurt the actual victims more to be compared to someone who has done nothing?

but if he doesnt have a say as to weather or not the child should exist, that means only the woman does. And you're also saying that the need for child support is so the man cant shun his responsibility and flee... basically the woman's the only one with a choice here. This is the problem. Men don't get any say but i do agree, there is no right answer

:D Kudos to you :) I always offer to pay when on a date, (sometimes even just out with friends), i never bring anyone a beer unopened, unless they have about half left in an existing one, i try to have an open mind, and try to treat everyone with the same dignity and respect deserved. I dont think im sexist for that, i think it's courteous. Will some view me as sexist? probably

i agree. Reread my post. I was basically saying that what Snooves said was bullshit

this is a situation that there seems to be no right answer for... Until men get pregnant, or they biomechanically create a cyborg child, there is going to be unequality. There just needs to be some sort of happy medium, where men cant control the woman's choice to get an abortion, and women can't force responsibility on an unwilling parent That being said, you'll hurt a child more with a parent who doesnt want to be there, than you will with one parent
/r/MensRights23/03/12 05:45 AM

That sounds like it can only apply to a father who knows he's having a child. What about the case where the woman approaches the father 6 years later demanding a DNA test, and when it comes positive, the 6 years of back pay for child support?

So when (for example) im arguing on the topic of custody in the courts, that Fathers and Mothers should have an equal chance at custody, it's fair for a woman claiming to be a feminist to say "thats different, every kid needs their mother more than their father". I can call them a bigot on that? (sorry if it didnt make sense, i was having a hard time with the wording on this one)
/r/MensRights23/03/12 04:33 AM

I wish there was a way to balance the scales without coming off as a bigot

i think you should be allowed to sue for a false accusation of rape... Either way, weather or not you're convicted, it'll result hugely on your life. If falsely accused, you should be able to sue for defamation of character.

The father could request a paternity test...
/r/MensRights23/03/12 01:03 AM

this isnt about women having free and easy access to abortion.. This is an attempt to balance the scales of liability. Under the current system, the woman can do what she pleases, and all she has to do is proove who the father is, even if he chooses not to be involved, and he is financially liable..
/r/MensRights23/03/12 01:01 AM

which they currently are
/r/MensRights23/03/12 12:59 AM

so that means we can scrap that whole "if the DNA test is positive he's legally required to be financially responsible"? cause i'd be all for that. Either they both get a say in the baby's existance, or either of them can opt out.

Reverse Sexual Harassment. Gets you every time. Where i work we're right on the shore of the bay, and theres a pile of rocks outside of a fence to where our cooling water pumps take suction. A woman from a cost-cutting consultant firm wanted to climb down the rocks to get a better view of the pump suction (how this would cut costs is beyond me, so i can only assume for curiosity). My father (who also works where i do) was touring her around the plant. When she started to go, dad stopped her and …
