You're in an extremely hard place. Money is great for a man to have for the stability of his future family, but it truly can't buy love. My bf is rich but I didn't know that until I was already with him for how fun and sweet he was. Do you know how to make a woman have fun? Try hanging out with more fun guys and absorbing that skill set.... life is pretty long. Id rather my bf lose all his money than lose his conversational skills, kindness, and sense of fun. Or idk man there has got to be someo…

My female cousin is the breadwinner and her husband stays home wherever there's a new baby. They're a great team and really have a lot of love and respect for eachother. He's actually a great dad and domestic engineer though. No one wants to be in a relationship with someone truly useless

The amount of times men say they were blindsided when their partner has been talking to them about breaking point issues for months or years is really interesting to me

Why are you accusing this person of agitated thought when they clearly were calm, and went out of their way to thoughtfully engage with your question?

It's okay, growing up means learning the same lessons over and over and over until they stick. Very normal.

Just keep exploring until you love something. Don't do it from a place of wanting to "fix" or "improve" yourself. Think of it like building a home for your soul, not to be corny. It should be a joyous challenge in discipline, not yet another thing you "have" to do to be lovable. Don't make it feel like punishment!

Bruh if you put this intense neurotic energy into doing cool shit that resonates with your spirit, you'd be so successful women that you'd eventually forget about this phase entirely. Your future partner wants to be just that, a partner. Not someone you look to to heal you or validate your worth (red pillers will say this is "pussy on a pedestal" but that's an immature assessment). You're looking to women to give you an identity. Give yourself an identity.

You should break up with her and then try to date a teenager who has never had a sexual past. Then, realize that you messed up, harmed her capacity for trust and love maybe forever, and that your teenage girlfriend isn't nearly as good of a match for you, and spend the next ten years trying to get the girlfriend you have now back. Then become bitter from the ongoing rejection from her, because you don't deserve to be taken back, and spend the rest of your life alone hating women for not being ex…

All this shows is that women are pickier than men on dating apps. Have you been a woman on a dating app? Most men don't have bios, half don't even half a clear picture of their face, many bios are explicitly sexual or misogynistic, etc. Ofc there are more rejections from women.

It's probably psychological. You're likely blocking off feelings that let you relax and bond with people. Maybe avoidant attachment related. Not enough information. Shouldn't affect your dating prospects really, I've dated someone with pp issues and that was the least of his problems rly

There are definitely men who only find younger women attractive. These are also the men that will cheat on their spouses once they get older and replace loyal wives with "newer models. So it's really best to avoid men like this anyway. It's not the majority. Also a lot of men like this are underperforming losers that want to vampirically suck the youth out of young women for a "fresh start" and then still don't accomplish anything and blame these women for "holding them back". It's really not a …

Don't make decisions for her. She's an adult and should probably understand that most relationships fail and is likely perfectly capable of enforcing her own boundaries around her sexuality. It sucks to hurt people but that's the risk we all take to find our person. Just don't lie to her about who you are and how you feel.

Personally I find tall men to be more generally attractive, and have dated a few, but am currently obsessed with a 5'9" man and was absolutely devastated when my 5'4" bf dumped me a decade ago so like, yes there's a general preference but love and attraction is far more complex and mystical than all that.

Intuitively I think women have "ravishment" fantasies, meaning they want someone they're attracted to to be insanely turned on by them and expressing that physically.

Some women are genuinely toxic and will think less of you for crying, but that's their toxic standard and you don't have to be ruled by it. You shouldn't twist yourself into knots like this for anyone except a child who depends on you. From personal experience, the only time I've been turned off by men breaking down was when it revealed how emotionally immature they were, probably because they were putting off actually feeling their feelings around people until they were like 30. Don't be that g…

I see a lot of people in this thread trying to convince you that you're wrong but let's imagine instead you're 100% correct. You get over this feeling by loving women. Love what they are and what they offer and love that they have options and just be grateful to be involved when you're next involved. That's the game baby! The only way to be less bitter is by letting love in. Cultivating love will get you more options as well btw!!!

Just like how men get hurt by women, poorly process those feelings because of immaturity, and displace them into only marginally related criticisms about women, young women can do the same. Most women experienced devastating heartbreak in adolescence that sullied their trust in men, and while they're going through it, they can feel vaguely empowered by trashing men. Any actually ex red pill man is familiar with this strange and unhealthy comfort. Emotionally immature women do the same thing.

I haven't met modern men that work harder on anything, let alone courting, than my grandfather's generation. From my perspective modern women are working themselves to the bone with both paid and unpaid labor, while having to spend at least an hour a day making themselves presentable. Honestly the majority of men I know are just dicking around for the most part but I am sympathetic. For context tho I have a pretty artistic family and peer group and this heavily shapes the type of men I know.

I wouldn't say women are higher value per se but we do require a lot more upkeep. The monthly cycle alone is a real bitch to live with, let alone gestation and childbirth. Definitely be generous to the women in your life whenever it is healthy and possible, but do it out of love and empathy, not insecurity and low self-value.

We struggle in dating quite a bit. We just are socialized to have more empathy and just accept our deficits and don't feel as entitled to love/admiration as to men seem to be.

As you know, there are very few women on those apps compared to the amount of men, so they can afford to be a bit pickier. Honestly with the deluge of messages and attention they get I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a way to make the stream more manageable. Also women on The apps might be pickier than normal as they're still single. The apps can be pretty toxic, just make more friends, more female friends, work on self-beautification inside and out and go to more parties.

I'm not going to gaslight you and say it's not a reality that some women prefer tell men. I think it has a lot to do with the insecurity of our times and trying to "win" by having a tall partner. Idk. But what are your options from here? You can hide away forever and sulk or you can properly grieve this reality, understand some women won't want you, and then move on and focus on building meaningful connections with people you care about. The worst thing about short men is their insecurity about being short. My first bf was 5'4" and I was obsessed with him until he cheated. We reconnected a few years later and all he could talk about was how short he was and it was suchhh a turn off. I never cared, but petty self-pity is extremely unattractive when other people are struggling to survive in their bodies. Everyone has a trait that is a deal breaker for someone! My ex boyfriend would constantly compare me to his exes and talk about the trauma they gave him, and even accuse me of doing things they would do. Having a partner with trauma doesn't necessarily imply red pill ideology is afoot. I think a lot of men don't understand that they can have boundaries too. If it's something you really don't like, and you've maybe had a few conversations about it, it's ok to leave the relationship with grace.

Men like confidence as well. After beauty, its their #2 request in a partner. One can't really fall deeply, truly in love without self-assuredness and the willingness to be fully observed and known. People without confidence will display a lot of neurosis around falling in love and it's just not as magical or fun.

Babies born to women in their mid twenties are the healthiest, babies born to women in their thirties tend to me the most successful. Teenage births are high risk births and increase risks of illness in the child, such as type one diabetes.

Most just want you to have enough money so that they can take a year off of work per baby. Most women's standards aren't even that high these days as young people are quite poor and are just giving up on the idea of having kids at all.

I'm a woman who used to be a red-piller, though. We definitely exist. And a lot of women are just raised in red-pill ideology to begin with. We have just as much of a right to be here and explore our own shame of being accused of having intentions that we did not have and our constant anxiety about hitting the wall etc etc. You can't actively participate in a misogynistic culture that hurts women and then be upset that hurt women are here. Even that is them trying to find good partners to have children with. Like, they're not being shallow, they're being responsible for their future children. Idk how rp people are going to shame women for "picking poorly" and then also call them "gold-diggers" for wanting to build a stable life with someone. One or the other. It's hard to raise kids, especially with modern expectations.

You can be critical of some applications of niche strains of feminist thought without projecting that framework onto every woman. The majority of women are not invested in this ideological exchange. I don't think that the video you shared is intellectually honest and is a bit too reactionary

Sex is to make babies and enforce pair bonds. Making babies is more expensive for humans and therefore a deeper attraction is generally required for women to get extremely aroused. You could still have casual sex 1 time and get pregnant so idek what you're talking about. The other factors are irrelevant to what sex ultimately leads to. 100% agree with your second paragraph but I do love the idea of marriage and building a life with someone because I'm very dreamy and romantic 💕

Even a non-hormonal IUD has pretty bad side effects. Something about "get an abortion or else starve" has always rubbed me the wrong way. Same with having to give your baby away because you can't afford it. Part of me thinks birth control was a mistake lol. Vaginas are not toys and it's feeling increasingly dehumanizing that people treat them as such. Like yes, bond and have fun, but don't forget that what you're doing is supposed to make babies. Idk. As a woman I'm not really sexually attracted to someone until I really connect with them, which is after I'm romantically attracted to them. Probably the reason I've never cheated. So not 100% wrong but also not correct.

Unconditional love does not equal unconditional giving! Someone can still love you forever even if they can no longer tolerate poor treatment, which yes includes either partner not willing to support the household to their fullest abilities in whatever that may mean for the couple/family (emotional labor, domestic labor, etc). Listening to and respecting the perspectives of women is an essential part of spitting up the red pill, even if you disagree with those perspectives. By bringing up FDS you're basically just finding a new way to assert that AWALT. I guess I don't really understand the problem with FDS? Did it used to be bad or something? That wasn't your person. Wanting to be a good partner does not mean that they want to be a good partner for you. Plenty of women get ghosted too, even right after sleeping with someone they've emotionally invested in for a long time. No one has it easy. I understand why you'd think that though.
/r/ExRedPill04/10/20 06:33 PM

Yeah, exactly. Having more intimate or religious philosophies about sex would be a fair dealbreaker but if you've also slept around a lot... idk. Probably not fair. It's perfectly possible for sex to mean something very special with your partner even if it didn't before. Some people genuinely don't understand that sex can be special before they experience it with someone they love.

Just bear in mind that most single women actually just want a loving supportive partner and are just as yearning as you are. Women can love sex just as much as a man, but one night stands are not particularly fulfilling and are often hurtful. I don't think oneitis has as much to do with idolizing a woman as it does making another person's acceptance or rejection the defining factor in their sense of worth. I think the theory of oneitis puts too much blame on women. It's much more useful to see those feelings as a sign of a wounded self concept as opposed to a weakness to feminine mystique.

It's because love is not a direct result of your SMV. You can be initially attracted to a high value trait, but if there's not a true connection then it won't be enough. Other lacking factors could be general incompatibilities or a lack of emotional intelligence and confident vulnerability.

Well said. Ironically, women leave men for their lack of emotional intelligence, not their emotions. Which means men need to dive deeper, not suppress. Emotions, when well regulated, are the spice of life. Every non sociopathic person loves to see their partner smile when they get good news. They are touched when they are sad. What is pleasurable to people is far from universal. Addicts are only addicts because of trauma. Full stop. Love addiction is no different. Many people who use hard drugs do not get addicted because those substances don't "scratch the itch" that people with trauma have. Same goes for these romantic manipulations. Let's explore another theory: women are nurturers. If someone they find otherwise attractive is finding it hard to connect, they often feel compelled to "fix him". You've heard this, ri…

Modernity is emotionally damaging, I have no doubt that toxic people exist in abundance. I'm talking to one right now, sorry! It doesn't have to be a permanent state for you. There are ways that aren't toxic, and are actually quite fulfilling, to reach the positive adjectives you listed. This is a very intellectually primitive way of viewing romantic love. The efficacy of the red pill methods on psychologically vulnerable women is unrelated to OP's posit. If only the sex slaves would have kept their legs shut, they wouldn't have corrupted the moral integrity of murderous conquerors who owned slaves and spiced their food with lead.

Sure, when we have fewer options we tend to settle down. We also have learned more about ourselves at this point. I think one of our biggest issues when it comes to finding love are the sheer number of options we (at least perceive to) have. Consider our tribal ancestors. We'd have 30 partners to choose from, maybe. Love is easy in that context.

I've never cheated, I am purely monogamous, but that's mostly the situation I've seen around cheating. "The wall" is a misogynistic concept.

And men are more likely to cheat when their partners, the mother of their children, become less attractive. Which do you think is worse? Trying to find the right partner, or abandoning your family? Again, the rates of cheating among young people are basically the same for men and women. Interesting misogynistic conclusion!

I mean like, look. I love men. I've wanted to be married since I was quite young. Puberty gave me an insane sex drive. I would have loved, loved to have only been with one man and have only had a ton of sex forever. But I'm an academic in a college town. People are always leaving and I have to start from scratch. Women that love men aren't not interested in monogamy. I've never cheated on anyone and had absolutely no desire to ever. It's just that when I like someone I become absolutely overwhel…

Probably because he did it out of a place of seeing women's value as just their pussies and didn't want to bother manipulating women, who "don't actually feel real love", to get his needs met. Employing sex workers can be fine, it just tends to be the case that many peoples' motivations are not healthy.

It's sort of worse than this, they also want women to make money and actively not be "gold diggers" while also having to perform all the chores you have listed. Ok, but also if she broke up with you to date someone else, you should also be "fine" with that. Clearly being broken up with is devastating either way, but you should reevaluate why you think one is better than the other. People break up because they're incompatible. Sometimes that incompatibility is realized when one person in the relationship meets someone new and realizes a new level of compatibility for them. It does not mean you are worse and they are better. That's not how love works. As …

It just goes to show that the plural of anecdote is not data. Most of the men I'm acquainted with have cheated at some point, while all of my female friends have not. We're extremely open with eachother. I tend to pick good friends though! The actual data shows that women aged 19-29 are slightly more likely to cheat (11% vs 10%), but after that period, they're much less likely to cheat than men are. https://ifstudies.org/blog/who-cheats-more-the-demographics-of-cheating-in-america

I mean sure, it happens. Men also are known to start second families, while extracting emotional resources from the original wife. We're critical of some masculine traits that are expressed irresponsibly in our society. The women I know are not like this. There's plenty of hard data on the sexuality of women out there, collected through blood tests and fMRI data. I think it's biologically responsible for women to be choosy about who they sleep with, but that can even mean wanting just a secure bond before potentially breeding. Still, the drive to have sex remains. I think the sex drive of women is connected to their emotions more so than mens', so when they end up in a religious marriage as opposed to a marriage based on love, their libido likely…

A lack of of generosity is actually extremely unattractive from either gender. We're expected to be generous in different ways though. Men with money, women with time. If you don't think the hottest celebrities with the most SMV are paying for dates then you're out of your mind.

I think you should just lean into the chaos here. Finding love is hard and it should be, who you settle down with is a hugely important. Honestly as someone that wants to get married and have children, a man paying for at least the first few dates communicates that he's willing to make financial sacrifices for our future, which is essential for breeding. But really, it's not delusional to assume some unenthusiastic reciprocation was happening when she broke up with him for not liking him as much. She didn't just wake up and feel this way. I mean I also agree with you. I think being more present with the flow of emotions in a relationship would better allow him to realize he's not getting what he wants, but he's sort of bulldozing through those feelings and doubts, leading to both of their emotions being abandoned on some level. I think it would be "fair" to be dumped for most anything. No one owes anyone else a relationship for any reason. But yes, I absolutely would. If I didn't understand him well enough on some essential level, he should be with someone that does. Sometimes people understand each other intuitively. Most times we have to struggle to be understood and to understand. This is fine, as long as people listen and understand themselves. Exceot, this is not common. Now you see the trouble we're all in.

The problem is you're still being selfish. You're not taking seriously her wants and needs. You're not tuned into how she's feeling, when she wants to be touched and kissed. This is because to you, on some level, she is an object of affection, not a full person that you genuinely want to please. Love is about learning someone to the core, not just having someone to kiss on. Other commentators have suggested building tension or whatever, it's just the same thing, but sloppier. "Too nice" is an expression of one's sacrificing themselves for the other. This can manifest in many ways, for example, letting someone treat you poorly and not standing up for yourself, even if it's gently. People want to be with a whole person, with boundaries. If you erase your boundaries (read as: what you like and do not like) for the sake of pleasing someone else, there is no you left. This is such a massive generalization though, and I think gets less and less relevant as women make more money and fertility treatments advance. Right now the average age of marriage is only two years younger for women than men. So, sort of, but not by as much as TRP would make it out to be. See a therapist, you have an avoidant attachment style. In the meantime, think about why you want so badly to avoid being fooled. What are you guarding so stringently? I've never left a relationship for someone else, and when I start feeling crushy toward other people while dating someone it's because my emotional needs aren't being met or just fundamental incompatibilities. Not at all because I've found someone more alpha lol. What planet are these people on?

Exactly. Good luck friend.

That's really great. It's a long, hard process.

Even if you found the perfect girl with your macho act, it would not be rewarding for you as she wouldn't love you for who you are, and you'd be lying to this lovely person. It's hard for everyone out here, that's what makes finding the one so special. I know so many amazing people who are still single. Start some sort of regular practice of radical self acceptance, there are many resources available online or in books, but a therapist can also help. Women like men who believe in themselves, not…

Totally, but they shouldn't then enforce gender roles for women, as redpillers do. This is ex redpill and I'm speaking to a specific audience. Also men are generally masculine... I believe in gender and responsibility, and gender specific responsibility, but the most prominent point of my ideology is empowering individuals and respecting whatever they think is best for them.

Men who resonate with redpill culture seem to be either men that never really became men, and resent women for not being receptive to them, or men who played by traditional rules and were still passed over or fucked over in some way, because women have moved past expecting support from men. It's sort of a vicious cycle at this point, both genders are culpable, and we need to come together and work this shit out. The reason I think the red pill is more dangerous than feminism, despite their still…

Women have a much shorter window for breeding, so are somewhat compelled to mature faster to establish resources (fiscal, psychological, etc) to raise their kids with. Men can sort of fuck off for a but longer, but obviously they shouldn't. Ever since birth control men have been dodging this responsibility, which leads to great personal consequences. Even the few men that didn't get married young were still apart of a culture that expected them to mature at a reasonable pace.

You know, women and men are different. The average IQ is the same, but there tend to be both more male mentally disabled folk and more male geniuses. The male genome is where evolution prefers to play around, as it's not necessary that all of them reproduce. This doesn't mean that female geniuses don't exist or can't meaningfully contribute. We also really can't underestimate the role of female socialization. Girls perform as good or better on math tests everywhere but wealthy schools, where the…

Oh for sure, but there's a huge difference between experiencing a difficult thing and letting that thing define you.

I actually follow Helen Fischer, and have read her books so I got the answers 4 you, but first Im foing to bitch. As a woman, I find this paranoia so very weird. Every guy I know is shady af about relationships, despite being solid people, and "aren't ready for anything serious" and are like, not very romantic people. Every woman I know is like so cute and considerate to the people they date and get really attached, and totally just want to find the love of their life. I like, don't get why you …

If you want a true partnership, don't resort to these tactics. By doing so, you're validating your insecurities with action, which will only strengthen their power over you. If she leaves, she leaves. Thinking about how you can prevent that will only make you more insecure and needier, which would likely push her away. If you want her to stay interested, stay interesting. When you feel insecure, reinvest in yourself for a while, do things that make you proud of yourself. This way you'll understa…

I was responding to the pool of his comments. I agree with you, but if someone doesn't want a pair bond ever, I would say it's due to underlying trauma or unhealthy views about the opposite gender.

The only bad thing about short men is how neurotic they are about it, my first boyfriend was 5'4 and I found him sooo hot. We met up again recently and he ended up drunk and almost crying about how unfair it is that he's short and it just totally killed if for me. I have chronic health issues, including brain tumors, and for someone to hate their body just because of its size...? I get it, society is fucked and shallow, but I'd trade inches for a healthy body in a heartbeat. I know that as a wom…

You may want to do some introspecting, this is not healthy human behavior. Sex is important. Someone who is emotionally healthy should want a pair bond.

She's a clinical researcher and has published more than one study, please try to be specific about your citations. If you had explained the topic briefly instead of her name I would have been able to find it.

I'm in my mid 20s. The longest relationship I've had was two years, he had to move to Canada for a post doctorate position, and I'm still in school in the US. Yes, they definitely have! My best friend is in a very stable relationship of two years currently. None of my girl friends have ever cheated, as far as I know. We're good people, most people are. I've been sexually active for almost ten years (hormone imbalance, v high libido), and if anything my sexual bond to my partners gets stronger as…

19 is so, so young. Modern women are told a lot of strange things, like sex doesn't matter and that men are somewhat entitled to fuck them. She's not who she's going to be, young women can be very insecure. You could play an important role in her life, and teach her how lovely a LTR can be. It's also possible she has a crazy high libido, which if you build a commited relationship, can really come in handy when you start getting older and other men are in the "dead bedroom" phase, because they wa…

It's very important to understand that people in general are prone to shitty behavior. The vast majority of these discouraging situations are done by men in similar numbers. We are all capable of bad behavior, but we are also just as capable of loving, creative, productive, and committed behavior. A real love that is honest, pure, and grows with you takes a lot of inner work to achieve, for both genders, just like any other important thing in life. If you don't want to do that work, that's entir…

She has polycystic ovarian syndrome and OP is bordering on predatory behavior here. If you have to guilt her into fucking you you're not doing this right.
