| 7 | How does anyone deal with one word responses?Yeah I didn't want it to seem like an interrogation of sorts even if I was genuinely interested. There wasn't much conversation to go off of if I wanted to deviate away from the book convo though so it's a bit tough. | 1 | [deleted by user]If you give them your number there's a chance they might not message you. If you get their number it might not actually be their number. So as there are cons there are pros to this as well. Its mostly just based on how your first impression is and whether or not you or them feel comfortable giving them your number or vise versa. My way of initiating conversations is either a hit or miss, not like it's not working it just doesn't sometimes so in my mind it seem "ok" at best.
