If you’ve matched then it means she should be interested in talking to you otherwise why did she match? She’s just a woman using the app for validation. Don’t waste your time after the 4th message, leave her on read or just say “k”

I've heard from numerous well seasoned "players" that apparently, as the guy, texting should only be a tool you use to set up dates. Outside of setting up meetups, texting is a waste of time, especially because you don't know her so we'll. She just may not be used to a guy trying to get to know her so much over text. I'd keep the personal talks for in-person. Texting's a tool to get to the next level. Not the ultimate goal.

Just organize a date and don’t worry about her poor conversation skills

Here’s my most recent experience with a girl I’m dating who’s terrible at texting:

I met her on hinge 3 weeks ago and my first message was inviting her on a date with me. She sends me her number shortly after. I text her and I don’t get a response. Three days later I shoot one more shot to which she replies saying she’s still on for our date. We don’t text throughout the week until the day of the date she hits me up to make sure we’re still on. We had a great date and she texted me after to thank me for everything. During the week she was super short with her replies so I asked her on another date and left it alone. We hung out that weekend and had a fun date. Again our texts were pretty bland and didn’t add anything to our chemistry. I invited her over to my place the next weekend and we don’t text all week until the night she came over and we hooked up. The next day we both texted one message and I left her on read. If I want to see her this weekend I’ll hit her up tomorrow to hangout.

So what I’m saying is you can date without relying on texting to build a connection. Save all that for in person. This girl is either terrible at texting or she’s preoccupied with other things/people/dating in life. It’s no sweat to us. It’s so early in the game and we have full control of the direction of the relationship. As feelings develop and you become a person of interest to her she will put in more effort to talk to you.

I think some people are bad at texting (eg me) or just not interested. I get this with men too! And I often lose interest if it's too one sided. If it's early on, it might mean she's a bad texter. But if it continues, she's losing interest.

I know that sometimes I get really annoyed when i get asked so many questions over text. I'm like, "ask me out. Stop interrogating me!". I once had a guy who wanted to know all the countries I have visited, my favourite country, my family details etc. He asked really long questions that I thought would be more interesting over a drink.

I don't mind it in the beginning. the chatting but if he's still asking very detailed interview type questions after a few days, I wonder if we'd ever meet. I personally am a very talkative/interactive sort of person so I prefer meeting over texting. But I get it that with dating/online apps, some guys might be apprehensive and prefer chatting for some time before meeting. Or have no interest in meeting and just like chatting.

If it doesn't go anywhere, I suggest giving up! Maybe you just don't gel.

Most women on Tinder are just there for a quick attention fix. If you had 5 matches she had a match with every single guy she swiped right and she has another five hundred, if not more, waiting on the backburner.

Do yourself a favour and don't waste time on those that are wasting yours. Have a little self esteem.

I just unmatch or stop responding to these women who aren't interested in at least a brief, actual conversation. Don't have to be penpals, but at least show you have some personality or interest. Even if we're just trying to fuck, I'm really not that interested in fucking people I can't have a conversation with.

It's completely up to you to make something out of it. You can be picky and wait for responses that you like, or you can play the game and make something out of your less than ideal responses. It's for you to make something out of it. They are responding to you, so that's good.

Since it happens a lot, you can practice. Others have given you some good ideas. Just don't be negative, no one one likes that. Positively is infectious. In person is always best, no one is real until you meet them. So arrange to meet, if nothing else.

Dont over think tinder, give some crazy funny answers and at the same time just try to get to a date as soon as possible. Girls are getting dozens, if not hundreds of responses on tinder, be witty and be a bit wild, then give her a very direct.

"Lets meet at this really cool Thai place that makes the best spicy curry. We can eat it with some really cold Thai beer and plan our trip to Thailand to pet baby elephants. Lets meet tomorrow at 630pm after we both get off work."

Most 1 word answer people are catfishing you, and fake. Never met a real woman online, that 1 work answered. Social.media need to have ALOT better verification like paid dating sites do. To many fakes and scammers exclusively use social media. But then again, social media sites have data breaches. Can't expect them to be to care or scam.people toooooooo!

I usually move on and file those under “we just had zero chemistry”. Sometimes the questions suck, sometimes there’s no desire to put effort into responses... sometimes this is because you just don’t work out and sometimes it’s because the external factors like the net someone more interesting or they are stressed at the job, etc.

Sometimes girls aren’t feeling it to begin with so they give the one word response. If they find you attractive, they’ll open up to you. Other times, you have to be on your a-game to flirt with them hard core. Every girl is different. Shoot your shot. If they’re feeling it they won’t give one word responses.

Matched with a girl on Tinder, but as soon as we start to message each other all I get is one worded replies and such. Started asking open ended questions, but they're very vague at times.

It's difficult to say how you might tweak things if we don't know exactly what we're doing.

Considering leaving the convo alone and spending my time elsewhere but this happens a good amount of times to the point where I'm asking about it here.

Tinder and other dating apps are better as supplementary to meeting people in real life. So you shouldn't be spending a ton of time and energy on them anyway.

I’m on Tinder again recently after my ex fiancé that I met on Tinder 3 years ago broke up with me. I match with quite a few women and if the conversation isn’t flowing I unmatch and go on to the next until I do find someone who I find interesting and vise versa. There are too many fish in the sea to get stuck on one that’s not giving you interesting convo. The way it works is after you match and you know what you are looking for and the girl is interested you will have convo until it’s time to sleep. Just go through the matches until both you and the girl are just so interested that she is giving as much to the convo as you are. Anything less….you’re wasting your time.
