I honestly don't know, from what I can tell they just lucked into positions that were willing to train and advance, where all I found were dead ends. Its really difficult to have fun in these settings because I'm autistic so I have a hard time judging how much is too much, so I get really stressed out trying to pretend to be normal. Yeah I'm just mostly not good at things, so I never learned to take my confidencee in certain things and apply it to other areas. Hoping that maybe if I work hard at some things I don't suck at, maybe I can get halfway good to where confidence can develop and spread to other things from there. Wish me luck.

I mean I've never really felt confident about anything in my life. I wasn't really aware of the concept until my late 20s and I have been trying to figure it out ever since. It only relates to what is going on right now because this post links my lack of confidence with how I have been telling myself things will be OK, two things I had previously been dealing with as separate, unrelated entities. I am in my 40s and still struggle to understand how confidence works, but hopefully this post is making a connection with me. Through everything going on right now, I keep telling myself things will be alright, because no matter how shitty they seem to be, I'm probably not going to come out on top, but I always make it through without things getting exceedingly bad. The meds are a long story, its not as simple as not affording a prescription, its more like the meds don't work and the next stage in treatment costs more money than I will ever have. I try not to use Facebook much, there are some subs here but they aren't really helpful. I'm just doing my best on my own, things are better since starting school.

Clothes that fit? Check. Haircut? Well, my hair is super long, I don't know what to do with it. I can't afford regular hair cuts. Facial hair is ok I think. Teeth?
