Yea, so I agree with the intimacy from a relationship being different from friends thing, I guess I didn't make that very clear. And yea it seems like this is the thing to do more because we're told to do it and what society expects us to do. It just doesn't sit right with me that I would be "using" someone else for some needs, it seems selfish and cold despite feeling the exact opposite of selfish and cold when in a genuine relationship

just. do. it. no other way man. If a mindset helps, then keep in mind that, she WANTS you to approach. She's waiting the man of her dreams to come and talk to her. She WANTS you to succeed

So while this can be a powerful motivator, and while all these things are good things to do (not too convinced about 3 though), I would say that these things should be done for yourself. Not for making someone jealous. It's needy behavior. You need to let go of the feeling of "getting back at your ex" or whatever and move on with your life. Your ex and you were incompatible and that's it, find someone better/more compatible. And you do that by improving your life, and the things listed here are …

Maybe she'd see a future with you, if you didn't lose the bang at the end. Why would losing the bang be a problem? If anything I'd have thought it would show I'm not pushy/desperate. Yea I'm not too bothered about having another date with her, it was more I wanted to understand this dissonance.

Thanks, I know I have a lot to improve on and that's what I'm planning to do. Do you have a link to that video? Also, should I then not approach women in groups? I would think I should say fuck it and go for whoever I find attractive? I know it may be easier when they're alone but I'm not gonna stalk them and wait for them to be alone

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
