I KNEW someone would bring this up. Yes, men have personally killed women who disrespected or harmed them, but first, they had to do it themselves, society wasn't going to do shit for the abused/disrespected man. And second, society very quickly will kill/severly punish that man barring some kind of supreme privilege like a king or billionaire.

We don't need to walk on eggshells to avoid looking sexist, women, especially feminist women, certainly don't walk on egg shells to avoid being sexist. I'm no Jewish scholar, but I'm fairly certain nobody in the bronze age thought of 35 year olds as 'youths'. Also, nobody threatened anyone, and nobody was in a gang. The bears were female not mothers, and they killed youths because abrahamic morality is moronic.
