This person is obsessed with calling feminism 'female supremacy' and thinks that studying history proves that women were never systemically oppressed. They are a deluded, self-hating female with a primary school level grasp of history and gender politics, and I have no qualms about highlighting that fact. I doubt you'd appreciate it if a man transitioned and started denying historical male oppression (such as being sent to war) It's ironic that they think women having equal rights is female supr…

Of course it was! But only MRA's act like war was no big deal for women and they never suffered any consequences. I have ever ounce of empathy for men sent to die in wars (except the ones who used it as an excuse to rape and torture other human beings) but people on this thread are literally acting like women were having a jolly old time while men died. Also, men were the ones sending other men to war. It's pretty obvious why women don't get sent to war and it's not due to female privilege, its …

Who is oppressing men? Who is advocating for the oppression of men? I will absolutely speak out about misogynists but obviously many men are not oppressors and of course should not atone for the sins of their father. But we are talking about historical oppression and people are literally denying that women were oppressed. How am I oppressing this testosterone fuelled pick-me by pointing out that they're both mentally ill and and a wannabe oppressor? Oppression isn't calling someone a rude name o…

You can just take a look at this wikipedia page to see how martial rape was only criminalised in most countries in the last few decades: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marital_rape_laws_by_country Take this fact from British history: In 1878, the Matrimonial Causes Act finally made it possible for a woman to seek legal separation from an abusive husband, and in 1891 the right to use corporal punishment on a wife was removed. https://www.allaboutlaw.co.uk/commercial-awareness/legal-spotlight/crimi…

I will be transphobic to any female who decides that a few shots of testosterone and growing some pubes on their face entitles them to treat feminism as some evil force. Without feminism, they'd be married off to some gross weirdo and could only dream about becoming an oppressor themselves. If this is the most transphobic thing you've ever seen, you're a sheltered child. You've never seen transphobia from a non feminist? Who do you think literally kills trans women? Who do you think rapes trans …

The delusion of these people is actually frightening. Someone said Bloody Mary (A figure created by protestant propaganda) and Cleopatra prove that women weren't historically oppressed. The Mary argument is even more hilarious since Edward dying meant that she had to be Queen- she would have been powerless and married off to some European monarch if Henry's only son wasn't such a sickly, genetic abomination.

An MRA tranny? Jesus Christ, what an awful combination. It's ironic that you think feminists need professional help, dear. Your historical assessment is somewhat correct, but plagued by bias. Were men oppressed? Absolutely. But the difference is that even the lowliest man had complete control over his wife and children- even living in a shack, he was king of the castle. He could beat and rape his wife with impunity, marry his minor daughters off to old men and dictate the entire existence of his…

As a feminist historian (Probably enemy number 1 to the men in this sub), the way I see it is that even the lowliest, most downtrodden man was the king of his 'castle'. His wife and children were under his power, entirely, For most of human history, this downtrodden man could beat and rape his wife, and dictate her entire existence. Just like the richest monarchs could. In a way, I see the patriarchy primarily as a means to control men. By giving even the 'dregs' of society complete domain over …

Girl, you are not seriously apologising to these psychotic misogynists, are you? False rape accusations are absolutely vile but so, so rare for the average guy. And rape is so hard to prove in many cases. None of these men even know what rape is and can be. They're talking about having women film themselves giving consent. I don't know any woman who would sleep with a guy after that. And what if you record yourself giving consent for vaginal sex and then the guy anally rapes you? It gives them f…

Wow, that's really interesting because it's so different where I live. 25% of students at my Uni started age 21 or over. I was quite insecure about starting late but it must be a lot harder for mature students in America.

My mum's friend is with a guy just like that one. Doesn't work at all, drinks and smokes all her money and hasn't picked up his own child from school even once. She's a lovely woman and her son is my little sisters best friend and the sweetest little boy. It makes me so angry because that little boy is going grow up thinking its normal to treat women like that. I still can't comprehend how a man can be that useless and still have the love of a great woman.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/05/21 02:42 AM

It's sickening and a large reason I won't be having children. Women already go through disturbing amounts of pain and suffering to have children and society rewards them by neglecting and abusing mothers in every way imaginable.

I'm staunchly childfree but the word 'mombies' makes me so angry. Especially since the equivalent word for dads is 'daddicts' which is nowhere near as insulting. It's so sad. My mother caught my teenage sister on a sugar daddy website last year and after looking at her phone, found tons of conversations with her friends about future plans for onlyfans, sugar daddies and stripping. I cried, a lot. I'm just so furious at men and all the 'empowered' sex workers who have brainwashed little girls in this way. Its fucking criminal and nobody cares. If you talk about it you're a SWERF and want sex workers to die. I'm so, so scared for teenage girls.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/04/21 11:53 PM
58

And what they don't tell you is that most of them aren't even making large amounts of money anymore. Sex work has become so oversaturated by 'empowered' women that the price of sex is falling. Lawyers certainly earn more than the vast majority of sex workers.

The milkshake diet is the worst one for me. Grown women consisting on disgusting powders mixed with water and then as you mentioned, gaining back even more than they lost. Seriously think these 'diets' should be illegal, disgusting how companies are making money from giving women eating disorders.

Also the idea that women talk more than men when the exact opposite was proven. And the incel talking point that women are shallow. We all know beautiful women with unattractive men. Hell, I was one of them at one point. Rarely see the opposite though.

Fellow 22 year old here. I had no idea too and it makes me feel sick. We need solidarity between younger and older women. I hate how many young women think it's okay to insult older women and vice versa.

Do you think women tend to have more wrinkles than men though? Cos despite the thicker skin I've noticed the opposite. Guys my age (22) with deep forehead lines and crows feet. You can see this behaviour in male animals too. Look at how male dogs hump your leg to assert dominance. Males of nearly all species are programmed to dominate and abuse. Many male animals brutally rape female animals, sometimes even killing them them in the process. It's fucking terrifying to think about.

I've been talking about this to everyone I know for years, probably irritating the hell out of them but I don't care. What scientists have done to women with these bullshit lies (basing a fertility study on women in 1700s France, are you kidding?) is criminal in my mind. The way history is taught in schools is absolutely appalling. I remember being told by a teacher 'We won't be learning about many women in this class because unfortunately women were prevented from doing much other than being wives and mothers.' I'd run for the hills if I found out the man I was dating owned a fucking sex doll. The only reason men like this are insecure about sex toys is because they know they have nothing to offer other than their pathetic little dick. Dildo's are usually larger than the pitifully sized average penis which triggers them immensely.

That sounds really frustrating, I'm sorry you're subjected to judgement because you look really young. My comment definitely wasn't aimed at people like you, as I do completely appreciate that many women look younger, particularly women still in their early 20s. Lmao yess, thanks for bringing this up. I find it very difficult to believe that all these women genuinely look 15 years younger, most of them are obviously kidding themselves. And don't even get me started on the genetics shit. Or black and asian women laughing at white women because we're apparently all gonna age like shit. It's so mean and unnecessary.

I also constantly see 30 something women on reddit saying that people always mistake them for a teenager. I've met one woman that genuinely looked about 15 when she was 30 but she is the only person I've ever met who looks that much younger. I'm sorry, but you can't all look 17. If he's not a whore, he aspires to be but can't achieve it. Males have been projecting their vile attributes onto women since the beginning of humanity. Completely agree with you. I feel like women who have kids should always have plans in place for raising kids alone because you can never guarantee the man will stay, even if he seems perfect and high value. This is such great advice and I wish more women took these things into consideration before having children. So many women I know have had kids recently and during their pregnancy, they're all loved up on social media and talking about how great their baby daddy is. Not really. Every man here seems to have a story about how his evil bitch ex tried to take his kids away from him. Your personal experience doesn't mean every pitbull is the same. I'm really sorry, it must have been very traumatic but logic>emotions! I was bitten quite hard by a shar pei once, doesn't mean I go around saying they're all bad and violent. The 2 dogs that killed the baby were thought to have been 'chained up'. Have you ever personally owned a Pitbull? If not I don't think you really have an argument. Some are violent and terrifying and some are great family dogs. Chow Chows are actually one of the most, if not the most violent dogs based on statistics but there are a lot less of them around than pits. I'm not denying pitbulls can't be scary but to claim they're all bad dogs is absurd.

I do understand why you feel the way you do though. Being hurt multiple times by a group of people is obviously going to make you less trusting of that group, it's human nature.

This is beyond hilarious. That hashtag is actually something to be annoyed about, not a scientist in a cool shirt.

It annoys me so much to see comments like that. People literally think Men's Rights activists are a joke and shouldn't even exist and comments like that aren't helping to change that popular opinion. I completely agree, comments like that portray us in such a bad light. Plus it pushes women away from the movement!
/r/MensRights23/09/15 08:37 PM
1

Do you think that what you believe about women is any different to women generalising men like we often see in this subreddit?
/r/MensRights23/09/15 08:33 PM
1

I mean GCSEs and A levels. They've cut all coursework in a lot of courses
/r/MensRights23/09/15 08:12 PM
1

Okay I'm not defending the ridiculous article but there have been studies that suggest/prove that women are worse at exams than men. Coursework, which women are proved to be better at, has been abolished in many qualifications in the UK. I'm not saying this is sexist at all to women but there is plenty of evidence to suggest men are better at taking exams. I don't see how that's much different to certain learning styles favouring female students.

We're talking about single parents here, are we not? I thought a 'deadbeat' dad is a dad who definitely does not live with his children? Completely separate things
/r/MensRights17/09/15 01:44 PM
3

TIL I'm naturally hardwired to think of sex as a rare thing... Where have you pulled that from? If you have a source I'm genuinely interested, not trying to argue.
/r/MensRights17/09/15 12:07 AM
-1

I have to disagree there. In the real world (not the internet) I always see people praising single dad's. I've never heard a single bad word said about a single dad EVER. Plenty of awful things about single mothers though.
/r/MensRights16/09/15 11:46 PM
1

Completely agree. This post is completely unnecessary. It's not even remotely related to Men's Rights and I don't know what OP is even trying to achieve by posting this.
/r/MensRights16/09/15 11:43 PM
1

I get that fear but I really doubt the risk would go up much, if at all. Unisex bathrooms don't make paedophiles or rapists commit awful acts, they can just make it easier for them to act in some cases (assuming that these paedophiles/rapists are even interested in the opposite gender) I really don't see the need for change at all either. It's stupid and unfair to pander to such small minorities at the expense of everyone else.
/r/MensRights05/09/15 01:00 AM
2

Yeah that's a good point but imagine all the parents who would go crazy at the possibility of their children seeing a penis. Women's bathrooms usually are bad because stupid people hover over the seats which means piss gets on the seat and means the next person to use it has to hover too, getting more piss on the seat. Women's bathrooms are gross
/r/MensRights02/09/15 11:13 AM
3

Completely agree. I think trans people should have equal rights and be treated fairly. Making all bathrooms unisex to accommodate a tiny fraction of the population is not equality, neither is it fair on the higher percentage of us who don't want unisex bathrooms.
/r/MensRights02/09/15 09:24 AM
3

I agree it's easier to make all bathrooms unisex but I actually don't want unisex bathrooms and I know many other men and women who feel the same. Plus why would men want to share with women? You guys would have to deal with huge lines of women every time you want to go to the bathroom.
/r/MensRights02/09/15 09:22 AM

How about relationships that go sour after having kids? I've seen that many times, two people having a wonderful relationship and then they have a child and everything changes.
/r/TheRedPill08/08/15 01:32 PM

Dude your reply is confusing at best, what did you expect me to say?
/r/MensRights19/07/15 08:53 PM

The UK is very sexist against men? Don't make me laugh too much. Please explain how it's so sexist against men? I'm going to ignore the rest of your reply because you haven't actually answered anything I asked properly and you're clearly trying to seem extra clever. I don't even know how I'm supposed to reply, it doesn't make sense.
/r/MensRights18/07/15 01:45 PM

I don't think people are saying that by law women are the property of their fathers or husbands but that in those cultures it is seen that way. You said it was a feminist myth, has it been debunked by anyone? Because as far as I'm aware many cultures particularly in 3rd world countries are very sexist. Are you denying that women are treated badly in these cultures or just that they're property?
/r/MensRights17/07/15 03:20 PM

Can you provide proof?
/r/MensRights17/07/15 02:33 PM

How is that not true anywhere?
/r/MensRights17/07/15 12:57 PM

That would make more sense haha
/r/MensRights14/07/15 04:54 PM

Generalisations like this are completely unhelpful. Do you want equality or do you just want to insult 50% of the population?
/r/MensRights14/07/15 03:13 PM
3

Can you provide proof for that claim? Obviously there are so many roles in the military and you saying that men are better are all these roles just can't be true.

Marilyn Manson is 46...
/r/MensRights14/07/15 03:07 PM

I'd imagine nobody would be having sex after that. It makes sense as an idea but how much would that kill the mood?
/r/MensRights14/07/15 03:00 PM

But do you not think us female students get bored? I've never met another girl who likes the education system or thinks it is a good or even decent system. That argument is pretty invalid because students of both genders get extremely bored with it.
/r/MensRights05/07/15 04:09 AM

The Green Party are a joke. All those people who voted for them likely didn't read their manifesto and policies at all.

Wait are you saying you think child porn should be legal to view?
/r/MensRights02/07/15 05:15 PM

Okay maybe not all men haha but men in general I feel equal to.
/r/MensRights23/06/15 03:03 PM

You don't think men and women are allies? You literally think we're two separate teams? Hmm guess I better ring my boyfriend and tell him we can't be together anymore because we obviously can't work together.
/r/MensRights22/06/15 09:16 PM

Thank you! I do get disheartened but I always try to remember that there are annoying people in every group. I always feel the need to comment when people make broad generalisations about because not only is it not helpful to anything this sub it's trying to achieve, it gives people the wrong impression of what the sub is all about.
/r/MensRights22/06/15 09:14 PM
4

I agree, it just seems like this sub attracts a lot of assholes and I'm trying to ignore it because this is a great movement, with great people supporting it with good intentions. I won't let it discourage me but it does get tiresome! Thank you though, that has cheered me up. There are a lot of wonderful people on this sub so I think it's a shame when people ruin it's reputation.
/r/MensRights22/06/15 07:21 PM
4

Your interest seems to truly lie in insulting the opposite gender, ironic since that is the favoured past time among radical feminists. My point is comments like yours put people off helping and make the movement look bad.
/r/MensRights22/06/15 06:49 PM
3

Wait so you don't want women supporting the movement? If us women are so powerful and privileged surely our support is a good thing?
/r/MensRights22/06/15 06:42 PM
4

You can speak for 50% of the fucking population though. I'm not insecure, I feel equal to all men. I come to this subreddit because I am passionate about men having equal rights and because I care about men and I want things like circumcision on baby boys to end and then I read comments from people like you which get upvoted, completely generalising my gender and just being completely rude. Is it any wonder that more women don't join the movement when people like you generalise us? Why is a femi…

/r/MensRights22/06/15 03:51 PM

Seriously if you saw my Facebook news feed on fathers day you'd think that was the case. 'My mother is better than any dad' blah blah blah. It's annoying for those of us who have great dad's who deserve their own day to be celebrated.
/r/MensRights19/06/15 06:49 AM

I agree but I think a lot if women call anyone a creep! I've seen some of the most gorgeous men ever get called creeps. Good on you for calling it out! I never use that word because the word has lost all meaning now. Honestly just listening to some of the things my SO has told me have made realise how fucking horrible some women can be to men for no reason. He recently tried to help a little kid who fell over (the mother was nowhere to be seen) and she starts shouting after she appeared from now…
/r/MensRights30/05/15 07:08 PM

Completely agree. It would be understandable almost to avoid dating for a while if your ex girlfriend falsely accused you of rape but avoiding dating and sex just because there's a tiny chance it could happen is just weird. I understand the fear and I feel scared when I see a group of men behind me when I'm alone at night sometimes but I understand how irrational that is and I get on with my life. If people think it's reasonable to not trust any woman because of that then why do the same people …

You clearly don't understand that I wasn't just talking about this posts. Posts like this are so predictable because people always act like the things ISIS do to women are mild or whatever so this comment wasn't directed exclusively at OP. Language is important here and by OP saying that ISIS kill every male but only sometimes rape women is implying that women have it easy when it comes to ISIS and this attitude results in a battle of 'Who has it worse'. I didn't miss the point, I made a new poi…
/r/MensRights28/05/15 06:48 AM

Read my comment again. I said that it was sexist and fucked up of the media to do that. I wasn't talking about the media in that sentence.
/r/MensRights28/05/15 05:25 AM

Completely agree. I think some people truly enjoy being outraged and victimising themselves as well, men and women! Nobody in any group is immune to being insane.
/r/MensRights28/05/15 01:08 AM
2

This is of course a major problem, rooted in the idea that women are always victims. I hate this mentality. It makes me out to be weak and vulnerable and it makes men seem like their lives just aren't worth as much. However the abuse and hell both genders face at the hands of ISIS is terrible. Killing is the worst possible thing but when you look at why they keep the women alive, it's nearly as grim. Your point is something I also think is just horrendous but I keep seeing posts like this on her…
/r/MensRights28/05/15 01:06 AM

I see it all the time as well! Comments like his just make the whole movement look stupid. I can see the article now 'Paranoid MRA quits relationships out of fear that any woman will falsely excuse him of rape just because they can.' Seriously that is absurd. He's probably the kinda guy who says some women are sexist for fearing that they'll be raped if she's out alone at night. I think that is irrational too but Jesus Christ.
/r/MensRights28/05/15 12:57 AM
0

I'm not talking about women who have a history of being abused doing it though. It would be irrational for me, a woman who has never been hurt by my SO or any male at all, to turn around and decide to quit relationships just because there is a small chance that my next boyfriend could hit me.
/r/MensRights28/05/15 12:39 AM
0

But the large majority of the women won't. An overwhelmingly large majority. That's like me saying I'm never going to have a relationship again because my boyfriend might abuse me.
/r/MensRights27/05/15 08:55 PM
1

But that's just it, the organisers chose this, not the large majority of the people at the event so why would you take it out on them?
/r/MensRights27/05/15 08:52 PM

That's suspicious. I've never heard of that before either! Hmm I'll do some investigating, thank you.
/r/MensRights27/05/15 05:14 PM

Looked for a source but couldn't find anything. I suspect that it's bullshit but it might exist somewhere.
/r/MensRights27/05/15 02:46 PM

I agree with this. I remember when I was in primary school and the boys toilets just smelled horrendous and they were disgusting. It seems it flips over in the adult world. The women's toilets are gross.
/r/MensRights27/05/15 02:40 PM

I know you're joking and I agree that this is beyond fucked up but this wasn't caused by all the women at that event. Let's not take it out on perfectly innocent people.
/r/MensRights27/05/15 02:39 PM

Proof? As far as I'm aware, those were green party policies and the green party only got 1 seat in parliament.

Britain isn't like that at all. What the hell are you on?
/r/MensRights15/05/15 07:17 AM

Not necessarily. She didn't include details so who knows. It's possible she's just being whiny and looking for sexism to call out but sometimes 'You're beautiful' can sound very dirty and make you uncomfortable.
/r/MensRights05/05/15 02:49 PM
17

Hear me out here: She may have a point. Tone of voice and body language is very important in distinguishing a comment from creepy to sweet. If a man randomly calls me beautiful in the street I would say thank you and I'd appreciate it. However sometimes something as simple as this compliment can be very uncomfortable due to body language. For example I once had a guy physically block my path and lean in close to me to tell me I was pretty. This is uncomfortable to me and isn't just a normal comp…
/r/MensRights05/05/15 07:31 AM
1

Okay I understand now. I think if someone randomly asked me for sex I'd just laugh and assume they were joking. It would only be creepy to me in certain situations like say I was walking down a lane and someone whispered it in my ear. I agree with you actually. We definitely react differently and it's definitely shaped by what we've been told.
/r/MensRights21/04/15 03:42 PM
2

I get that but I mean if someone is staring right at me for over 30 seconds I will get paranoid and uncomfortable. It's not good manners to stare at someone for that long but considering that, it wouldn't be in good manners for me to swear at them after so I would and have just said 'May I help you?'
/r/MensRights21/04/15 03:40 PM
-1

I get his point about people thinking it's creepy when men do it, endearing when women do it... His points are clear, I just don't agree with them all.
/r/MensRights21/04/15 06:04 AM
3

Yeah I wouldn't say it's sexual harassment but if someone was just continously staring at me for no apparent reason I'd probably tell them to get fucked.
/r/MensRights21/04/15 05:15 AM
-1

Wait a second. I get your point but I don't think I'm vilifying male sexuality if I tell a guy to fuck off when he says inappropriate things to me in public. I understand what you're saying but cat calling is actually pretty bad for a lot of women and I think it's pretty unfair of you to dismiss it like that.
/r/MensRights21/04/15 05:11 AM
1

How to you even get through life being so paranoid?
/r/MensRights09/04/15 11:32 AM

I agree with you. I know female issues are down voted here but I only ever see people say this about women and it seriously irritates me.
/r/MensRights29/03/15 11:54 PM

'That's female behaviour' Actually I think people like you are the ones making MRAs look bad...

A lot of reddit hates feminists though.
/r/MensRights09/03/15 06:35 PM

I hate it. I'm not a fucking child or a fragile little baby. It's infuriating.
/r/MensRights09/03/15 06:31 PM

We are taught about those things though. At least my school was.
/r/MensRights09/03/15 06:29 PM
1

Just like the majority of men don't want a fat woman? Having a preference is not body shaming. That's like saying I'm sexist because I don't want to fuck women.
/r/MensRights09/03/15 06:28 PM
1

Of course I agree with that. My main point was that both genders suffer in these situations, not to start a 'who has it worse?' argument.
/r/MensRights02/03/15 11:10 PM
1

I'm not dismissing the idea I'm saying that in situations like this women tend to get raped often.
/r/MensRights02/03/15 11:05 PM
-2

So you're saying that men are just as likely to be raped in this situation? Because I don't believe that for a second. Do you not think women in these situations suffer at all?
/r/MensRights02/03/15 04:44 PM
2

This is of course true but I was only highlighting the fact that both sides suffer in these situations.
/r/MensRights02/03/15 04:08 PM
2

Ah okay, thanks!
/r/MensRights02/03/15 04:00 PM
3

Perhaps there isn't but we can assume that these things are more likely to happen to women.
/r/MensRights02/03/15 04:00 PM
2

What does that mean?
/r/MensRights01/03/15 09:26 PM
1

Yes I completely agree. We definitely focus too much on the hardships that only one gender faces.
/r/MensRights01/03/15 09:26 PM
1

I agree. Men and women ARE different, why must we pretend that we're the same when we're not? It's like parents giving their daughters toys that are geared towards boys. It's not helpful and will only outcast the children from their peers. If a boy wants to play with dolls, let him but don't force it on him.
/r/MensRights01/03/15 07:33 PM
3

They shouldn't be allowed back in. I don't know what the fuck is wrong with our government but the fact that they have almost definitely let 'remorseful' extremists back into our country shows that they don't give a fuck about public safety. It's disgusting. Teenage girls aren't babies, they know damn well what they're doing and if they're allowed back home I'm going to protest.
/r/MensRights01/03/15 07:30 PM
0

I agree with you but I wouldn't start the us vs them argument by saying one gender has it worse in that situation. The females are less likely to be killed but more likely to be raped and forced into marriage. Why can't we just agree that they all have it pretty much just as bad?
/r/MensRights01/03/15 07:28 PM
-3

Although I completely agree that there should have been equal focus on the boys, wasn't there evidence to suggest some girls had been raped and forced to become Muslim? I wouldn't call that being treated well.
/r/MensRights01/03/15 07:26 PM
2

Yep. A 15 year old girl in my city went to Syria with her friend to join ISIS. Everyone went crazy saying how she was probably manipulated and how she'll be raped and abused. Me? I have no sympathy for her and think she's a fucking idiot and probably a hateful, nasty bitch. Because she's a young girl, nobody will criticise her actions. The hate for extremists is completely forgotten by the media when a young girl joins them.
/r/MensRights01/03/15 07:25 PM
1

But then he should also include that not all feminists believe in female superiority. I'm not a feminist but I do know plenty of people who call themselves feminist who really do just want equality.
/r/MensRights01/03/15 07:22 PM
2

Wow that is a joke. These people seem to truly believe that all men should be held responsible for the actions of other men. Fuck that, my boyfriend is more gentle and caring and kind then I'll ever be but these crazy people will never see that.
/r/MensRights01/03/15 07:15 PM
7

A lot of people who get their sons circumcised are not Jewish. Also women only seem to prefer them because they're so common over there. Where I live people think a circumcised penis is weird.
/r/MensRights26/02/15 07:27 AM
5

I doubt he'll thank you if it's standard practice and you shouldn't expect him to. It's about giving your child a choice over their own body. Why would you want to take away that choice?
/r/MensRights26/02/15 12:29 AM
17

That's so horrible that you had no say in it. I truly believe circumcising children should be illegal unless medically necessary.
/r/MensRights25/02/15 10:44 PM
16

I posted something similar on an ask reddit thread a few hours ago and got 19 downvotes. I don't understand how people can justify cutting a baby boy or a young child. It's wrong.
/r/MensRights25/02/15 10:42 PM
1

That's a very big generalisation. You do realise that plenty of women have self sustaining jobs? What about women with teenage children?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/15 08:15 PM
1

I can see why that might be so but I think it's less to do with the actual woman and more to do with the difficulty of the child adjusting to a new adult plus the new guy may have different expectations of the rules for the child, their behaviour etc. I don't think it's because women treat their new partner terribly most of the time because you don't automatically change your personality because you have a child with a different man.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/15 07:54 PM
1

That's not true though. Many people remarry with children and go on to have successful, healthy relationships. Would you say the same about a single dad?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/15 07:48 PM
1

Why? So after a woman has a kid she becomes a cunt?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/15 06:07 PM

At the first gym I ever went to we had a small women's only section. They let men use it anyway because it had extra equipment and nobody seemed to mind at all.
/r/MensRights10/02/15 02:15 PM
2

No I agree that it's unfair. However I've actually been thinking about this issue for a while now and have spoken to men and women about it. There seems to be a real demand for women's only sections but not for men's only and that's why women's only rooms exist. If there was a demand from men I'm sure gyms would introduce them. But an overweight only section seems like an ev better idea because I've noticed that it's mostly the overweight women who use the women's only section.
/r/MensRights10/02/15 02:14 PM
3

Oh absolutely! It hugely depends on what kinda gym you go to. My last gym was amazing! Everyone was so focused on their training that the only time people paid attention to anyone else was for a friendly chat or to work out together. However I now go to an awful chain gym which is located right next to a school so you get loads of 14 year olds who only go so they can tell Facebook that they went to the gym. I see a group of teenage boys who sit around making fun of everyone or being really creep…

So if men argue they're also not adults?
/r/MensRights10/02/15 02:06 PM

Definitely bring this up with someone. We have a women's only room in my gym which although does seem to have sexist undertones, I do understand the demand for it because our gym is full of young teenagers who like to try and intimidate people, particularly the older overweight women and it definitely helps them. This room has the same equipment available in the rest of the gym too. However this is completely not okay. Gather up a bunch of guys and let them know how unreasonable it is. If they w…

Nice bit of sexism from you there...
/r/MensRights10/02/15 01:15 AM

I really disagree with this. I understand having women's only or men's only gyms because they can specifically cater to one gender but at a unisex gym this shouldn't be allowed.
/r/MensRights10/02/15 01:14 AM
1

That's really petty. Why take out your anger on people who didn't even make the decision to have that bathroom?
/r/MensRights31/01/15 12:51 PM
3

I completely agree with you that the media tends to sympathise more with women which is wrong and should be changed obviously. I like that this subreddit is trying to change that by talking about it but I just think that many people are handling it the wrong way. I see all too many people here complain about sexism and the ending their comment with a sexist remark. Thankfully most people do seem to be reasonable and open minded.
/r/MensRights31/01/15 12:36 PM
2

Well that's true. My comment was in the negatives when I went to sleep last night though which is why I even had that little rant.
/r/MensRights31/01/15 10:04 AM
6

I just wish people wouldn't be so one sided on this subreddit. How can we be as equal as we'd like to be if people won't even think about the argument on both sides? I literally said that I didn't agree with women being made out to be victims and didn't take sides and people don't even want to hear it because I expressed sympathy for women in a certain situation. I agree, it's absolutely impossible to have a discussion here without it all being one sided.
/r/MensRights31/01/15 01:06 AM
0

No you've misunderstood me. I don't think it's right that these women choose to end their children's lives because of their depression and of course they should seek help instead but post-natal depression is a mental illness which can cause one to become disconnected from reality, it's hardly the same as an abusive mother killing her children. I would also have sympathy for a schizophrenic man who killed someone or his child due to his illness. It's not about gender, it's about mental illness. W…
/r/MensRights30/01/15 08:20 PM
4

There is a slight difference when you're considering post-natal depression because that really fucks people up and I think that is what people sympathise with. I've never heard of anyone having sympathy for a woman who killed her children without being affected by that but I don't know, I get your point.
/r/MensRights30/01/15 04:32 PM
1

But you must realise that nowhere near the majority of women think this policy is reasonable or contributed to it being implemented. Just as most people think tge policy is terribly unfair, I think it is terribly unfair to produce pornography of me without my permission. Please consider both sides before blaming all women, most of us agree this is insane.
/r/MensRights30/01/15 12:36 AM

I feel like it's morphing into a less extreme RedPill at the moment with all these feminist blaming posts.
/r/MensRights17/01/15 01:41 AM

Honestly when I read this story I was fucking horrified. Cheating is bad but it doesn't justify mutilating someone for life. I can't believe the amount of males and females who found the story hilarious.

I might respect your opinion a bit more if you didn't act like such a dickhead. Can you imagine a world of only people with STEM degrees? We'd have no historians or psychiatrists/psychologists, we'd have no performers or artists. STEM may be important in the job market but I know plenty of people with 'worthless' degrees who are doing well for themselves. STEM is not for everyone and neither should it be. I think you're the loser here because you're so damn judgemental and closed minded. Was tha…

Whaat? You can look exactly the same (weight wise) as you did at 16 when you're 40 if you exercise enough and adjust your calorie intake to suit your slowing metabolism. Gaining weight isn't a natural symptom of growing older.

Metabolism doesn't actually change a lot from when you're 20 to when you're 50. Sorry, I just hate this misconception that you're guaranteed to be bigger because you're getting older.

STEM degrees are no more 'real' than any other degree. I hate this opinion so much. Some people go to college just to learn something and that's okay. The word needs people educated in these 'worthless degrees'.

Not in my country they don't. No respected judge will convict someone based on the words of two people. Evidence is always needed. So actually Sir, you have no idea what you're talking about. If I accused my boyfriend of raping me, there is no way he'd ever get convicted because there's no evidence.

Exactly. These people are agreeing to have their pictures taken like this and they know damn well that they look great. The human body is amazing, what is so wrong about appreciating it?

Agreed. From my experience, us Europeans find it shocking and incredibly wrong although many change their mind if the inmate is a child rapist or a serial rapist.

That is totally unfair. My parents divorced but that had no impact on my own beliefs. You can't assume the offspring will take marriage less seriously because their parents divorced. My parents got a divorce because my dad was violent and angry constantly. Why does that mean that I'm instantly more likely to take marriage less seriously?

Yes but when you look at most of history, women weren't allowed to do much and men have had better access to education for much longer. This is really quite a poor argument and it makes you seem very ignorant indeed.

Perhaps an anti cat calling policy would be beneficial. I'm not being all whiny about the situation like you might assume and I'm certainly not the type to call it harassment when a man says hello to me in the street but it's not simply a case of people shouting 'Hey beautiful.' I highly doubt they could outlaw that and I actually appreciate comments like that. However 'Nice ass' and 'Sexy legs' and 'You're so fuckable' are comments that I received regularly WHILE IN MY SCHOOL UNIFORM. Is that o…

This has nothing to do with Mens Rights at all. You're trying to make a problem involving women seem like a joke in an attempt to make everyone who believes street harassment is a problem seem stupid. Yes, many people overreact about the issue but it still happens a lot. You've obviously never had first hand experience with the problem because if you had, you'd realise how humiliating it is to have a group of men follow you and shout horrible things at you. This subreddit complained about the or…

Cat calling is usually not fun. I'm a young female I do get it a lot but I often laugh it off because a 40+ year old man beeping and shouting at me in his big van is rather hilarious however there have been many incidents where I haven't felt safe at all because of it. The majority of cat callers are nice people who do stupid things which make them look like massive tools but what people on this sub aren't understanding is that often it isn't just a 'Hey beautiful' sometimes it's a 'Nice ass'. N…

Exactly this. I work out a lot but I could give it up and just be skinny. Yet I don't because working out makes me healthier and having muscle tone makes everyone look so much better. The majority of the celebrities that are idolized actually do work out a hell of a lot yet skinny girls are praised for their discipline. Bitch, it takes a lot more effort to eat healthily and work out 6 days a week than it does to simply eat less calories.

Oh I love trolls. No. White women obviously float through life only experiencing happiness and are showered with privilege. Pleaaase. I've worked hard to be where I am today and I didn't get there without problems. All humans face hardship in their lives. Don't be just as bad as a feminazi crying out about white male privilege. And it would drain my savings account but sure, I could go to Saudi Arabia. You say that white women don't have problems but then imply that I have no money. Surely finan…

I'm sorry to hear that. Understand that most white women don't enjoy pretending to be victims. I'm grateful everyday for the advantages I've been given just for being a Westerner. It seems to me that a lot of 20 something women genuinely believe they are being oppressed due to tiny incidents in their lives. But I'm my circle of friends I never hear complaints that go any further than 'Men have it better than us because they get to have a penis that can like spin and stuff.' A lot of us younger w…

It bothers me that you think people can be put into categories of least oppressed and most oppressed. People of all races and gender and sexuality are discriminated against and oppressed. It's not the damn oppression Olympics! The term white girl problems is offensive in itself because it's basically saying that white women nev2 experience problems more serious than having to choose which latte they'll have. I don't like anyone who victimises themselves but please don't insult a whole group of p…

That is a ridiculous amount of money. Here in the UK they can literally only force you to pay about £5 a week in child support.

I recognise that boys are being ignored however do you really think little girls want to sit still all day long? I found it incredibly frustrating when I was younger. Children in general should not be made to remain still for such a long amount of time.

I agree with all your points except I've known many women who look completely awkward and unattractive at 19 but then go on to become gorgeous at 25+.

Honestly false accusations arent that common. Of course it's awful when it does happen. I live in the UK and I've only ever known one one guy who was falsely accused and he was an 18 year old sleeping with a 13 year old. Plus he never got into trouble for that, despite the fact that he broke the law. Most women do not falsely accuse.

Why is this a Mens Rights issue? It could simply mean that more women on average are interested in these career paths

They fucking love to sit there and complain but they don't do anything about the apparently awful sexism towards them. Both genders face discrimination. Yes, rapists are usually men its a basic fact. I really don't see why its an outrage to state a fact.

You haven't met a woman worthy of respect? Any decent human is worthy of respect. I agree with some of your points but making such a bold statement is sexist.

I'd just like to say that at least where I live false rape accusations are rare and even if they do happen they don't get anywhere because you need strong evidence to charge someone with rape. It really isn't as commonplace as people may think.
/r/TheRedPill27/06/14 07:19 PM

You seem to think that its that easy to convict someone of rape. Its not. Hard evidence is needed. Accusations rarely get anywhere without proof.
/r/MensRights20/06/14 11:05 PM

That's not fair at all. The majority of women would never falsely accuse someone of rape.
