I was in a discussion with some friends and I said white women were the least oppressed group of people in the world. I used this modern phrase as a prime example because the phrase used to be 1st world problems or high brow problems or 1% problems with the joke being that they weren't really problems because they were the least oppressed people at that moment. However, the typical probably feminist response was no you are wrong just because I like pumpkin spiced lattes doesn't mean I am not oppressed.

This kind of bothered me as anyone else used this line of reasoning and what response did you receive?
