Newton’s ideas gave birth to several fields of study and to life as we know it. Same goes for Tesla. If validation and pussy is worth more to you than impacting billions of lives, then you’re the loser. In lieu of a part 2, you should make a list of top ten misused French phrases. Number 1 will certainly surprise you.

She says she doesn’t see him that way. You don’t buy it. If you really want to know, visit her after the wedding and see how she and the other guy get on. Watch her actions, not her words, right? Otherwise, she’s a just plate, a step away from being a complete stranger. Find something more productive to worry about.

The greater male variability hypothesis would suggest that men and women as populations have roughly the same mean IQ, but that men shower higher variance. This would explain why it’s simultaneously true that most physicists and homeless people are men. Of course, there are other factors at play and this analysis by itself doesn’t fully capture either population.

There’s a difference between listening to someone versus pondering deeply on her every utterance. But every utterance is bound to contain useful information, at least early on in the relationship.

It’s possible to “be the prize” and enjoy seducing women. I do it just fine with women I “click” with, and I’m trying to extend it to women who are hot but very different from me personality-wise. That being said, I absolutely agree that a blasé attitude is effective against women who receive boatloads of attention from men and society at large.

I disagree. Women say a lot of dumb shit, but through subtext and body language they communicate important information both consciously and subconsciously. You don’t pick up on those things if all you hear is “blah blah blah” when she opens her mouth. “Know the enemy, and know yourself...” as Sun Tzu says.

I’d highly recommend learning discrete math as well as data structures and algorithms while working on personal projects. Online lectures and textbooks are good options. Knowing how to program without understanding time complexity, recursion, etc. really limits what you can do as a software engineer.

You can acknowledge the role luck plays in success without denigrating the hard work it takes to succeed. Luck determines when and where opportunities arise. Hard work determines how you capitalize on said opportunities. I found this heuristic helpful, maybe you will too: when someone calls you lucky or offers you some other form of praise, especially in a group conversation, the best thing to do is accept the praise, express gratitude, and ‘pass’ the praise to something/someone else. It isn’t p…

Take it one day at a time, and appreciate the little wins. Maybe one day you say hi to a girl and she ignores you. The next week, she’ll meet your gaze and give you a polite smile. The next month, you meet her gaze, and she flicks her hair. The next year, she approaches you at the club and asks to dance. It’s a process, like anything else that’s worth doing. Don’t get too hard on yourself.

Yes you will make money in medicine, just like you will make money investing in 20 year treasury bonds. Does that make a portfolio with 75% tbills the best option for a wealth maximizing person?
/r/seduction25/02/21 07:35 PM
1

My point was more so that someone optimizing their life for money would not go to med school in the first place, unless medicine happened to be their passions as well. It’s irrational to do medicine for the money. Law might be easy if you have all the right connections. If you factor for the uncertainty and opportunity cost of practicing medicine, the payout is just not worth it if you’re driven solely by money. I know people who chased medicine because of money or expectations. None of them las…
/r/seduction25/02/21 07:29 PM
2

I think your premise is flawed. Rational people don’t go to medicine or law for the money (at least not in this day and age). That’s like going into academia for the money; yes your financial prospects will improve, but the opportunity cost is colossal. I agree with your overall point, which is that optimizing your life for money won’t necessarily optimize it for success with women as well. However, the impact for men of material wealth on relationship success can not be overstated IMO.

It sounds like you’ve got the big things figured out. Your problem(s) likely arise in your approach and interactions. Be observant of how women respond to your advances. Do your jokes fall flat most of the time? Do you make the situation uncomfortable through one way or another? Are you too aggressive or too passive? These are all things to think about. Last but not least, don’t put too much stock in any one gesture, reaction, or woman. Look for trends.

I’m not sure I understand the question. Do you mean to say over-agreeable people place too much value on intimate relationships? Maybe. Oneitis is a somewhat vague, high level personality problem and agreeableness is a technical, low level dimension of personality. This makes it hard to see a simple, causal relationship between the two Oneitis can be thought of as a symptom to a deeper problem explained by Gillette and Moore’s masculine archetypes. The idea comes from Peterson, as well as Carl Jung, Joseph Campbell, Douglas Gillette, and Sophocles. But what I described above is literally Jung 101. I’m convinced that archetypes are the building blocks of all narrative, much like the elementary functions (linear, sinusoidal, exponential) are the building blocks of most applied math. On a subconscious level, we don’t choose to see the world through an archetypal frame, it just happens. In that sense, archetypal stories aren’t used to predict;…

From the Jungian perspective, we are all born with cognitive structures, analogous to the physical organs we’re also born with. The idea of Mom and Dad are born with the individual to be projected onto his parent(s) and subsequently the world. In that case, separation from the Mother becomes an archetypal story, or a class of stories. One might be be afraid of leaving the structure of university and entering the real world. Someone else might be afraid of leaving the comfort of his job to undert…

I don’t see what you’re getting at, and your first few paragraphs suggest you don’t either. Your friend made a comment on Instagram and now you don’t want to “associate” with him? Your argument doesn’t make sense. Society idolizes feminine energy/values, but many women don’t live up to those ideals? No shit. Society worships masculine ideals too (a healthy society does), and most men don’t live up to those ideals. Whether women live up to feminine ideals or not doesn’t affect the ideals’ validity.

Eastern society emphasizes the family as the building block of society (as opposed to the west that emphasizes the individual). I think this East-West difference comes from differences in risk tolerance. The west is all about the hero’s journey to greatness, perilous but full of potential. The east is about a gradual ascent to greatness across generations. The latter is less risky, but also requires more sacrifice from the individual. I never understood the albeit rare antiestablishment sentiments on this sub. Do men need to be completely free and independent of all external influences to be truly masculine? For every sport, every hobby, almost any school subject, the more you learn about it the more there is to learn as higher levels of that topic open up to you. It’s the exact opposite with people. You don’t “drop” friends; they slowly fade out of your life as you change. I found new friends in high school that were better and gradually started hanging out with them more; there was no fallout with my old group, I just stopped talking to them as much. Even now if I want I can hang with them for old times sake, but never more than a couple times a year. Also you’re going to college in a couple months, so focus on making new friends there. I didn’t mean to come off too judge or anything, it’s just that your posts made it seem like you were just looking for an excuse for your inadequacies. Unless your parents are actively preventing you from lifting and buying fucktons of rice, chicken, beef, veggies, etc., the fault is no longer theirs. It is their fault you are in this position now, but not their fault you are not improving your lot in life. I wish my parents had done certain things different too. My dad has a lot of the bad habits I had for years, but like you I became aware of them and unlike you I got off my ass and did something.

I’m not quite where you’re at (still in uni), but one thing that gives me intense pleasure other than striving to be the smartest, strongest, etc. is learning for the sake of learning. Personally I love math. Idk how deep you got into it, but even the upper level undergrad calculus courses barely scratch the surface. Thanks for the reply! Right now I am on an engineering build team, and I plan on applying to consulting clubs this coming school year. All of that, mixed with lifting and classes will minimize spare time. Does that seem like an effective allocation of time for my stated goals? As for surrounding myself with older mentors, the only people like that around me are professors which I generally maintain a cordial relationship with. Are you referring to when I enter the workforce?

Your main point was that for just 5 minutes a day you can see a great ROI. I say 5 minutes of running is useless because you will see very little benefits after the first couple weeks and if you are running 5 min and showering 10, then you are not conferring ANY benefits (beyond smelling good I guess but that’s not why you are running) for 66% of the total routine. I'm on nsuns 531 6 day split I highly recommend. It has you progressing based on how many reps you get of you 1 rep max for that week. Bench took me the longest to get as well. Everyone treats it like a simple, straightforward lift so you never really bother researching and perfecting technique. My bench is also lagging so I replaced my two bench days on nsuns with another program called deathbench and I've been loving that so far.
/r/TheRedPill20/10/17 02:48 PM
1

You need to get off stronglifts, your numbers are too high and it's a novice program. Your bench especially is extremely weak (one of the weakest I've seen relative to your other lifts). You can't look swole if your chest is weak.

God damn you're an old one. I'm not sure I was even alive when Clinton was president (was it 1996-2000?). And yeah you get used to it. I don't get crazy attention or anything but it's much more than I used to before I got into lifting. That validation feels real nice until you get used to it, then you get a little more and the process repeats itself. Kinda like a positive feedback loop.
/r/TheRedPill14/10/17 01:20 AM

It's a slow process. First you get hit on by uggos, then you get a stare from someone you'd maybe bang, and so on. It all happens so gradually you won't even realize it's happening unless you look back and reflect. Congrats on the weight loss dude.

I experienced the exact same thing. For me, the problem was that I didn't really provide enough value to the group. A lot of the time when I got to whatever event, I'd have side conversations with one or two people but by and large everything would be fine without me. My solution was twofold. I became closer with the core people in the group. You do this just by hanging out with them, clicking together, etc. The easiest and most effective way to do this is to share a couple of powerful memories …

Recently hit 800 total on my big 3 (squat bench dead) but my lifts are very inconsistent because I'm cutting. I'm more or less pushing the same weight I was before except with 5-7 lbs less fat. Not gonna stop till I look like dick skin.

I agree with you but sounds like he just doesn't know any better which isn't necessarily his fault.

I was the same way. As generic as it sounds, just try and catch yourself when you speak softly. Always speak a little louder than you normally want to. My friend also had the same problem. He's a summer counselor for a high school engineering program at his uni and he says constantly talking in front of the kids and making announcements has helped him a ton.

No one can answer that without more info. Also, if she's your ex then why are you trying to bone.

You have to eat a lot, and then more to compensate for the cardio (which I'd imagine would only be a couple hundred calories per session). Personally, I've noticed the most neglected muscle to getting that "big" look are the lats. Dudes overwork there arms and chest and fuck up the posture and look like Spongebob with the muscle arms. Pull ups (and weighted pull ups), lat pull down, and rows are good for back development.

I've dealt with those feelings before too and they suck man. Every time it's happened to me, the feelings have lingered one way or another until I got distracted by another girl. After that happened it was like a switch flipped and I just didn't care about the original girl anymore. After that happened a couple times, I noticed a trend. Now, anytime I get those kind of feelings I know that there's another girl out there so why should I give this one more than the minimum required attention. Just…
/r/TheRedPill10/07/17 12:34 PM

This entire post made me lol. You hooked up with this girl five weeks ago and here you are looking through her window counting how many guys she fucks. Get a life dude, busy yourself with something worthwhile. Also read the sidebar.
/r/TheRedPill10/07/17 12:03 PM

People judge you partially based on how you look no matter where you go. Being a large fit dude gives you an aura of command and authority.
/r/TheRedPill01/07/17 02:48 PM

I can also share my experiences (been lifting a year now). I ate very close to maintenance pretty much the entire time, just making sure to get good proteins in. My go tos are chicken, plain Greek yogurt, and whey. I don't use a scale or anything either. Right now I'm cutting and I usually measure food a couple times then eyeball it based on those measurements. Don't think you have to eat at a gigantic surplus to put on muscle. If your main goal is to be aesthetic you could consider just eating …
/r/TheRedPill01/07/17 02:46 PM

Damn son 2100-2500 cals per day?? That's a 600-1000 calorie surplus. I'd probably cutback on that a bit.

Yeah that guy is tripping. If you're like 5'5-5'8 then that is definitely a good weight to be at. Of course it also depends on BF% and stuff.
/r/TheRedPill01/07/17 02:35 PM
5

Unless you looked like a Holocaust survivor before or you were cycling some shit, there is no way in hell you put on 15 pounds of muscle in 4 months. If you did put on that much weight, over 50% of it was fat. Not trying to shit on you or anything, just saying.
/r/TheRedPill01/07/17 02:30 PM

That's sounds about right. I'm a guy of similar background. I am extremely cautious when I'm public with girls and will hide my face when people of my race walk by and distance myself from the girl. In minority communities word really gets around and you don't only shame yourself, you shame your family too.

/r/TheRedPill15/06/17 02:14 AM

I'm fasting right now for religious purposes and am going from 1 A.M. to 9 P.M. daily without water. When I was cutting before I started fasting, I adjusted to the hunger mood swings pretty quickly, but dehydration is a whole nother beast.

I know a break is never a good thing. But I love her. Any time I hear someone say they love someone like that I wanna fucking punch them in the mouth. If real love exists, it develops over the course of 5-10 years minimum, not 4 years of being infatuated with someone.

I've never even been fat just kinda chubby to skinny fat to somewhat in shape (omw to jacked right now). That ego boost I occasionally get from a girl being flirty with me, though not that great anymore, is better than any food I ever guzzled into my mouth.

Yeah I always see the trainers at my gym making their clients do bullshit exercises on the Smith machine and stuff. All you need to build strength (in the beginning especially) is squat, bench, dead, and overhead press. Any program without these exercises is incomplete. Period. No rescuers l excuse unless you're injured or old as fuck (60+).
/r/TheRedPill02/06/17 10:48 PM

OP gave you a million ideas right in the post. I bought an arduino microcontroller recently and plan on tinkering with it, making some basic shit. You can do that. Learn basic C/C++ too and the sky is the limit. You will learn a lot about circuits and shit.

I was 6' 180 couldn't bench 135 5×5. Now I'm 165 (trying to get down to 150s) at probably 180-185 for 1 rep. Trying to hit two plate by December. I'm actually at the first point in my life ever that I have a six pack (hard to see rn but it's there). I've been chubby/skinny fat all my life. It feels better than any food ever can/will.
/r/TheRedPill01/06/17 01:31 AM

The most I've ever weighed was 180, at the end of my first (and last) dirty bulk. Idk if I could look at myself in the mirror at 200+ pounds unless I hopped on gear.

The dude knows full well what happened to OP and how he struggled, but that feeling is overpowered by the desperation. It's not everyday you're 300 lbs (and not a 6'5 powerlifter) that someone actually wants to bang you.

I also drink filtered water mostly. It's not the same thing as distilled water though.
/r/TheRedPill30/05/17 11:31 AM

I'm being facetious. Go on and drink distilled water if you want, but it isn't worth the effort.

/r/TheRedPill28/05/17 04:02 PM

I generally don't pay much attention to water weight. You don't really need to unless you're a bodybuilder 24 hours out from a show.
/r/TheRedPill28/05/17 03:59 PM

Good thing you're drinking distilled water. Can't have that fluorine and trace amounts of lead and arsenic fucking up your macros.
/r/TheRedPill28/05/17 03:56 PM

Why can't you be a raging hulk? You can still be yolked as a mofo and be 10-12% BF

Super late, but I don't see what this has to do with TRP. The dude was being a prick, you acted rashly (trying to fight the dude, one of the worst possible moves in that situation), he flew too close to the sun, you snitched on him and brought him back down to Earth. I'd have snitched on him too though so I can't hate too much.

I'm on an 800 calorie deficit for the summer (I'm used to fasting so this isn't so bad). For the first time in my life I can see a six pack and holy hell does it feel good.
/r/askTRP28/05/17 01:26 AM

You just have to keep making the effort. I tried to step out of my comfort zone, be charismatic, etc. Every time I did life smacked me and told me to get back in my place. I kept trying though, and I kept getting smacked until eventually I had a couple successes here and there that made getting smacked worth it. Eventually you get smacked less and less until you're the one smacking life itself.

/r/TheRedPill26/05/17 03:19 PM

I'm still kinda salty about the bubble tea I bought a girl for $1.50 one year later. Who the hell has $10K lying around to pay off someone's debt?

All the "red pill knowledge" you "learned over the years" doesn't really mean anything. TRP isn't just a set of rules, similar to how math isn't a set of theorems and laws. Both are a way of understanding the world around you and asking questions, coming to conclusions via a particular method, making decisions.
/r/TheRedPill25/05/17 01:34 PM

It's because they equate doing something being difficult with being high value/deserving respect. Mowing a lawn with safety scissors is pretty hard, but I'm not gonna go around thinking I'm the shit after I do it.
/r/TheRedPill18/05/17 06:18 PM

"I'm holding out for someone who knows what I'm worth" Lol they're not worth shit. If anything they have negative worth due to the kid. It's ridiculous how arrogant some of these people are.

Hurting your ability to get laid Haha you might be right. It's summer time now and I'm back in my small suburb, so I don't do much. Even during the school year though I was going to the gym 1½-2 hours per day 5-7 days per week (and I'm always looking for ways to get rid of wasted time). I don't care about getting laid in this context though. Working out, hell exercise in general, has given me more than any woman save my mom ever has/will. You see lifting/exercise as a means to an end; I see it a…
/r/TheRedPill13/05/17 07:51 PM

First, I'm not here to shit on anyone's gym choices. You do what you wanna do. I regularly use 90lb dumbbells for shrugs because it also works grip. Also squatting 150 lbs with dumbbells is a joke unless you're like 90 lbs. I also use the squat rack for OHP. A gym is not about how many fancy machines you've got; it's about the fundamentals. Squat rack, bench press, dumbbells, dip/pull up station: these are ESSENTIAL, the squat rack being above all else. Also, as a 34 year old man, you are puttin…
/r/TheRedPill13/05/17 03:32 PM

no squat rack dumbbells don't go above 60lbs lunk alarm pizza Fridays #NO #SQUAT #RACK I pay $20 per month to lift at my community center and $23,000 per year for my university gym. You don't have to go to equinox or LA Fitness to get swole.
/r/TheRedPill13/05/17 02:43 PM

If I saw a severely obese woman in a power chair with her fat flaps practically dragging behind her, my first instinct is to say "God damn. Have you ever heard of Planet Fitness?" My first thought would be "She probably goes to Planet Fitness." Lol

Thanks for the advice. I've been lifting hard for a year and eating relatively clean. I'm on a cut for the summer so I'd keep drinking to like 4-6 times for the entire summer. I think I've blacked out or gotten near blackout enough now that it's lost its novelty. I generally stay around 5-7 shots now.

Although my dad's taught me a lot, he is an immigrant to this country and could only help me so much. Without my brother I would not be in this sub, I would be going to a shit tier university, be a chick repellent, and either be ignorant to the amazing life I could have had (the one I have now) or depressed I let it slip from my fingers. If your brother is anything like me, he appreciates you more than you'll ever comprehend.
/r/TheRedPill11/05/17 07:33 PM

/r/TheRedPill11/05/17 04:05 PM

Getting old scares me. I'm still very, very young (19) and I'm just not ready to say goodbye to binge drinking, loud music, and more girls than I can shake a stick at. It's society's fault of course for telling women their only value is their looks. If it weren't for society and patriarchy she would have gone to school, got a PhD in Mathematics and proved Riemann's Hypothesis, as all women are capable of doing.
/r/TheRedPill10/05/17 05:37 PM

Don't hate the player, hate the game. It's not her fault she takes advantage of what she has. Same way it's not the son's fault he got into Harvard because his dad donated millions.

/r/TheRedPill07/05/17 12:09 AM

/r/TheRedPill03/05/17 07:14 PM

I'm also a little biased in that I go to a wealthy university so there aren't many degenerate types around me. I agree with you in most things, it's just I've seen the "Good guy/bad boy" dichotomy so many times and it's almost always from neckbeards, so that's how I imagined you to be. Also, I would by no means consider myself a "good guy". I don't have a criminal record or anything, and I am studying a difficult major, but I can't say I care about the majority of women beyond my ability to fuck…
/r/TheRedPill24/04/17 04:00 PM

I guess I just don't like the term "badboy" because a lot of the guys that use it are niceguys aka betas. You're right though. I've noticed as I've improved with girls I've also become douchier.
/r/TheRedPill22/04/17 09:38 PM

I get what you're saying and all, but God damn can we stop with the "women always go for thugs, badboys, etc." bull? Yeah the "nice guys" you mention might be real smart and nice or whatever, but they're socially inept and fucking spineless. Would you befriend one of these guys, share your best memories with him, call him when shit gets real? No. So why would the girl wanna fuck him? You're making it sound like you have to be a complete degenerate to be good with girls. Many of the guys here tha…
/r/TheRedPill22/04/17 09:27 PM

Not to mention it can get exhausting. I went to Europe for two weeks and by the last few days I was tired, hungover, and hadn't showered in days and just wanted to sleep on my own bed again. Then a couple weeks later I want to do it all again.
/r/TheRedPill21/04/17 08:31 PM

I feel you on that. When I talk about lifting or math I can start talking loud and getting really specific to the point where people stop paying attention, so I stopped talking about stuff I love. When my dad does it though I always try and at least pretend I'm listening. My old man deserves that much.
/r/TheRedPill21/04/17 05:15 PM

When my dad tries to talk politics with me, a lot of the time he'll start talking loudly. That's not aggressive, that's annoying.
/r/TheRedPill20/04/17 05:27 PM

To be fair, my dad has a habit of getting really loud for dumb shit sometimes. I don't think the guy was trying to "curb your aggression" or whatever. Sometimes it's just really annoying when someone raises their voice for no reason.

a full 360 so you're exactly the same as you used to be?
/r/TheRedPill18/04/17 08:13 PM

Not so fast. I go to a very expensive school ($26K/year in state) that I got into via my own merit. My family is not poor, but we are not rich like many of the people that go to this school, yet because of my own hard work I am still able to go there (with the help of financial aid aka "getting a free slightly subsidized ride") and better my future financial condition.

I'd imagine she would want someone who doesn't put up with her shit and is much more mature than her, but if OP does exactly this then he is seen as withholding attention. Am I on the right track here?
/r/askTRP05/04/17 04:59 AM

Why do you say that? I'm not seeing the correlation.
/r/askTRP05/04/17 02:36 AM

Hey if fucking sandwiches is your thing then you do you.
/r/askTRP05/04/17 02:29 AM

My dad always told me how I shouldn't leave my school work until the last minute, but I never listened to him because I could get away with it in high school. I did the same thing in college and got fucked hard. Now I do my work/start studying half a week to a week in advanced. There are some lessons that can only be learned the hard way.

I've had this in basketball, and it is amazing. You just know instinctively where to go and he just knows where you'll be open for a pass. It's almost supernatural sometimes. I haven't been so lucky in real life unfortunately.
/r/askTRP03/04/17 12:35 AM

This right here OP. The only way to make her guilt free is to bang out 225 for 12 on bench. This is scientific fact, better get to it.

I've found that the gym has helped me mentally too. I used to a complete pushover with stuff and would never stand up for myself. At the gym people unrack my shit when I step away for half a second and it's the first time I felt compelled to not let that fuck step all over me. This transferred into other areas of my life as well.
/r/TheRedPill02/04/17 03:17 PM

For me lifting is 30% self improvement, 20% looking at myself in the mirror, 15% stress relief, 25% fuck you to certain people in my life, and 10% being healthy. Whatever it takes to get in the gym.
/r/TheRedPill02/04/17 02:33 AM

Maybe you're just doing it wrong? I started getting bored so I found a new routine that has me maxing out once a week in every major lift. The nerves I get before that one rep max set is awful and amazing at the same time. It makes me feel alive.
/r/TheRedPill02/04/17 02:19 AM

Is it just the lifting culture you hate or the lifting itself? I happen to like both, but the lifting itself much much more. The new program I'm on has me maxing out in each major lift once a week and I love the nerves I get before that max out set.

Those awful months instill in me one thing that made it all worth it: no matter how much life beats me down, I will spit in its face and keep on going. That idea has kept me going through any struggle I've faced thus far.

Closest thing like that they happened to me was in high school a year ago when a girl asked me to dance with her for the basketball game halftime show and I said I was too busy. Then another girl asked me and I said the same. Then another girl asked and I figured shit why not. Then the other two girls found out. One didn't really care since I didn't know her that well but the other one was kinda pissed and held a small grudge against me for a while lol.
/r/TheRedPill30/03/17 04:50 PM

I don't care. I was pointing out something I thought was amusing.

/r/TheRedPill30/03/17 05:39 AM

I'd like to do this but replace Jeapordy with Spongebob. Thoughts? Idk I just love that show. For reference, Spongebob started a couple years after I was born, so it's fairly popular among my age group.

It wasn't even bullying, it was worse. I spent my entire high school career climbing the social hierarchy. Senior year I held three Leadership positions, was involved in fucking everything, and people I never even heard of knew who I was. A mix of bad events and me biting off more than I can chew led to some bad times making me struggle and people calling me incompetent to my face. The only thing I did right probably was that I never showed my emotion to anyone and shoved it down and kept trying…

Point number 5 in what to do is something that helps me a bunch. If I'm reading a story, I predict what will happen next, try to figure out the motives of involved characters, try to visualize what is going on. The back is IMO the most neglected muscle required for aesthetics. I see guys in the gym pumping out 2 plate for bench then they stand up looking like the hunchback of Notre Dame. I have a good back and a slightly smaller chest and I'd say that's way preferable to bigger chest and smaller back.

Why do you say you can gain 1.5-3 lbs per month but can cut 2 lbs per week? Wouldn't cutting weight that fast burn a lot of muscle? Also I'm following 2sun's 531. Great program.
/r/TheRedPill02/03/17 06:49 AM

Couple of questions: I didn't see a height anywhere in your post. What weight/height were you pre and post cut? What were your main compound lifts (squat, bench, dead, ohp) pre and post cut? You said you took 2 days off in 3 months. Are you saying you did your one day split Roman God workout seven days a week? In other words, you deadlifted and benched 8 sets each 30 times a month? Props on the progress. Looking like a sick cunt there boi.
/r/TheRedPill02/03/17 06:45 AM

Here's a tip: you'll never be big enough. I've decided I'm gonna go on a cut when I can bench 2 plate, deadlift 3 plate (should be coming by summer at the latest) and squat 265ish, all for one rep. Only thing that's actually gonna take some real time is bench I think. I would suggest setting goals like that. I'm still a noob though so take what I say with a grain of salt.
/r/TheRedPill23/02/17 05:18 PM

People say they wanna be toned instead of "big and muscular" like getting toned is easier. Getting toned takes a shit ton of willpower whereas all it takes to get big is eat a shit ton, lift, and sleep. I'm still building size and am dreading the day I have to go on a cut.

Honestly even if you were a 10 in looks, you could still never hold onto any decent girl. All you do is whine and complain about how unfair stuff is. You can't change the reality of male-female interactions or what women find attractive. Accept reality and decide what you want to do.

A lot of rappers and basketball players are ugly af, but I bet you they pull 10s. If you're really that ugly, you have to make up for it by being exceptional in other ways. Be grateful for this, because women don't have that option. Ever seen tons of guys wanna fuck a girl because she can hoop?

If you know pretty much everyone there then literally go up to them and say what's up and start talking.

Talking about background info like job and family and aspirations gets boring really, really fast. You should try to start joking around/teasing her as soon as you can and just do that. It takes a lot of practice.

Not a father, but I think the best way to do that is by taking your son hunting, hiking, encourage him to play sports. Doing manly and naturey stuff together gives time to bond and teach your kid.

This is why I never posted any college acceptance stuff on social media. I knew deep down inside that anyone who actually gave a shit either already knew or would ask me about it at some point.

The problem is that many people can see right through the act if it is insincere. It just feels awkward for everyone. I've been in situations where I was faking being the shit and situations where I was 100% convinced of my awesomeness and the vibes were very different. I do agree though it is much better than "chilling" by yourself at home.

Lol same thing happened to me on the dance floor once. First girl I approach gives me a "bitch you thought" look and walks away. I shrugged it off and was making out with another girl within 5 minutes.

But you're not even competing with most of those men because they aren't in your demographics. For example, I am a college aged person so I am competing with college students. 80% of male college students are def not overweight.

You don't necessarily need a trainer, just an experienced friend or YouTube while you look in the mirror. That's how I did it.

I get your point. I started a solid work out routine over the summer, have been washing, drying, and folding my own clothes since sophomore year of high school, and I get all my food from the dining hall. I didn't need to start something new when I came here, I just kept on working out the same way I'd done all summer.

I'm an engineering student, so I think I know a thing or two about studying. It is 100% up to you whether you make time or not. I still have time to drink and party most weekends too.
/r/TheRedPill14/12/16 02:31 PM

I wouldn't say 80% of men are overweight, but it is shocking how many guys don't take care of their bodies. Keep in mind this is coming from someone who lives on a college campus where guys are supposed to be at their physical peak. Just by being in decent shape and wearing a tight shirt I get a good amount of stares.

I can absolutely attest to what loveydovey said. Back in high school my friend, who is 5'4, was a wrestler and was fucking shredded, like less than 10% BF. He was also very assertive and outgoing and people respected him and didn't give a shit about his height.
/r/TheRedPill09/12/16 01:59 PM

Trust me when I say this, people can absolutely tell that you're insecure about them not liking you based on the way you act. You probably ACT more indecisive and submissive than you normally would. Try and make a conscious effort to keep those thoughts away and act how you want to act.
/r/seduction09/12/16 02:03 AM

I love getting shitfaced as much as the next guy, but it sounds to me like you are dependent on alcohol to act like a normal human being around girls. Ask yourself if that's really the kind of person you want to be.

It's generally pretty hard to build muscle and lose fat simultaneously, but much easier when you're obese. I would highly suggest biking and lifting at the same time. Also, chiseled Greek god > bear. Being somewhat lean and a little weaker will make you look and feel way better than being stronger but fatter.
/r/TheRedPill30/11/16 01:53 PM

You need to get jacked my man. Do Starting Strength or Stronglifts, get those proteins and complex carbs and unsaturated fats, and get good sleep. 6 months to a year you'll be too attractive not to treat girls like shit. If you're looking to make progress as fast as possible, calculate your macros and stick to them using the MyFitnessPal app. It can be kind of a pain, but you get used to it quick, although it is not 100% necessary for making progress. I'd say it's more necessary if you're cuttin…

Forgive yourself for what? Wouldn't you be angry at women for not giving you any pussy when you were younger? If you were a weirdo loser back in the day like a lot of people here, then you can't really blame girls for not wanting you.
/r/TheRedPill29/11/16 10:27 PM

I had the exact same problem. The thing that helped me was just talking to random people until I could talk smoothly. I know it's not the most specific advice, but that's what worked for me.

I did a 2 page report for a friend (guy) on a book on why men are violent by nature. That was for a gender studies class. That is the most I've experienced with the SJW stuff in college. I'm not even a semester in yet, so I have very little experience to draw on. A lot of the stuff you said sounds pretty hard to believe unless you're going to a super liberal college.
/r/TheRedPill14/11/16 06:44 PM

I'm probably not feeling it as much since all of my classes are math and science based, but I still don't think it's as bad as people in this thread are making it out to be.
/r/TheRedPill14/11/16 03:40 PM

Yeah because my Calc 2 class is totally brainwashing me about politics and shit. I go to a large university and I'm proud of it. It can be liberal af sometimes, but that's okay. My professors never try to force their agendas on me.
/r/TheRedPill14/11/16 03:18 PM

Yeah I get what you're saying. Most of the parties that I go to don't really involve talking to people though, just dancing, and everyone is usually tipsy at the very least.

Kinda off topic but you mentioned that you got there and it was awkward until you had a couple beers. Is it not normal to get super hammered before even going to the party?
/r/seduction11/11/16 02:55 AM

You're referring to the "school shooter" types. We'd make so many of those jokes about the quiet kids back in high school. They're scary because they're unpredictable, and they're unpredictable because they don't understand social norms like you and I do.
/r/TheRedPill07/11/16 04:38 AM

You need to release the aggressive, testosterone fueled side of you. I've always had it because I played sports growing up. Play sports and/or lift and you'll see the aggressive side of you come out. Your testosterone and the aggression and competitiveness it induces is the thing that separates you from a woman, so you better find it now.

I also used to be myself, until I realized myself sucked. I got rid of the things I don't like about myself, added things I would like, and strengthened things I already liked. That's what you should do.

You gave virtually no information that could help us assess the situation. This kind of knowledge is useless unless you can actually implement it. Just joke around and find reasons to touch her.

Grab her by the hand forcefully and tell her you want to talk to her because she's so pretty. Throw in a "darling" or "cutie" in there for good measure.

I do the same thing but immediately call myself out for it every time. Hating on someone else's game doesn't make yours or mine any better.
/r/seduction30/10/16 11:43 PM

I used to think the same thing. Change happens very gradually though. You notice small things here and there about yourself you wanna change: your haircut, personal hygiene, dress style, etc. You start noticing shit like how your eyebrows are getting a little too close to each other and how your nails always get a little too long before you cut them, and you take care of it. All the while you're working out, and very slowly you start to get a little attention here and there. A girl stares at you…

Nothing will make me stop being miserly with money. If I'm paying for a date, you can bet your ass we're both getting water and no you're not getting the side that's 75¢ extra. Also, you got me fucked up if you think I'm letting her win at 2K or FIFA or any other game for that matter. She wants to win, she should stop shooting 3s with Harrison Barnes and get some ball movement going.

I started Muay Thai just half a year ago as a late teenager, though I couldn't stick with it for long because I moved away. There were 30-35 year olds there who were miserable at first. And next thing you know you're "that guy" who's approached and gotten rejected by every girl on campus. People actually talk to each other on school campuses unlike in the real world. PUA stuff does not work. Also, there is nothing wrong with having platonic girl friends. It's social proof.

I can tell you don't read that much since your style of writing is like that of my cousin who's a freshman in high school. By not reading you're putting yourself at a major disadvantage to anyone that does read even occasionally. I'm sure if you find a good book you'll start the enjoy reading. Try The Kiterunner. It has absolutely nothing to do with seduction, it's just an amazing book that really sucked me in.

Didn't mean to make it so long. Tl;dr at the bottom Why are you at the mall? Is it for an actual reason or to just pick up girls? People generally go out to accomplish a specific goal. Most people are at the mall because they need to buy/return a specific thing. If you're going out just to talk to people in a place where people are actually doing shit, they'll pick up on it and it'll turn them off from talking with you. Hey Derek! I am an incoming freshman at the biggest/most prominent university in my state. What do you wish you could tell your college self about game and building healthy relationships in college? Are there any specific things I should do to give myself an edge socially the first week or two of school? Something that would start me off on the right foot and give me a food reputation. If you picked up Rihanna, you need to write a field report on it ASAP. You are so right though. I see guys better looking than me all the time that get no attention from girls because they dress like shit and just can't socialize well. The only physical trait that almost always diverts a girl's attention from me is a guy who is more jacked, which is something everyone can control.

Here are a couple of tips I can suggest for you based on what I read: -You are going out everyday with the intention of approaching X amount of people. I think that's pretty dumb. People are out and about because they have shit to do, and they can sense when you don't have shit to do but approach strangers because of how you talk and act. Go out with an actual goal in mind, like going out to buy cereal or getting a haircut. The only exception to this is if you're going to a bar/nightclub/house p…

Let's be honest though, it is extremely rare to actually hang out with people you randomly meet on the street unless you guys really click. The only exception to this rule, in my experience, is in foreign countries.

Well it's not really good to be desensitized to awkwardness. Feeling awkward is a good thing, it lets you know you're doing something that's not 100% socially acceptable, like dragging on conversations way longer than they need to be.
/r/seduction10/06/16 07:50 PM
1

Only you can answer that question. I don't know you. Take time to reflect on your interactions, what you're doing right and what you're doing wrong. Also, really look inside yourself. Do you have any deep rooted fears or insecurities? Why do you behave the way you do? It takes time to find the answer to these questions, but in the process you learn a lot about yourself.

We are all born with our own obstacles to overcome. Developing socials skills is our hurdle, both you and me. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Everyone else gets without effort Who's saying everyone else gets it without effort? Because it quite literally took me years to develop the social skills to get a girl to see me as something other than a friend. Everyone has their own struggle in life. Instead of comparing yourself to others, just buckle down and keep working at it until you get the results you want. Also, get rid of the victim complex man.
/r/seduction10/06/16 12:11 PM

Get the idea that you need a girlfriend out of your head. Just reading your post and comments you are clearly not at a good point in your life right now. If you can't make yourself happy then how you can expect to make others happy? Focus on yourself first until you are the type of person that you yourself would date.

It doesn't seem like you're having a whole lot of fun with everything if your goal is to just sleep with a bunch of chicks. You should try and focus on having fun in your interactions. That way you won't be in such a rush to close. Learn to enjoy the ride and stop worrying about getting to your destination.

Do what girls do best. Drop hints, making them more and more obvious as time goes on until you get some sort of response.

Okay... What's your question?
/r/seduction28/05/16 06:10 PM

Dude, calm down. You had a bad night, so what? Shit happens. Instead of being pissed off, analyze how each interaction went and the common things you did in all of them. Find your mistakes and fix them.

Are you sure about not being able to talk to girls in their 20s when you're 30+? I have always wanted to eventually settle down and marry a 23-25 year old when I'm 35ish. That'd be my ideal situation.
/r/seduction26/05/16 01:53 AM

I usually just end the conversation politely and leave. Maybe there's a way to get her back, but usually once I've lost a girl I've lost her.

Go up to them, ask a couple of basic questions maybe. Try and make lots of witty observations and jokes and stuff. Maybe after some talking you could ask her to dance. I'm not really the best person to ask about this. Maybe someone else could give you a better answer.

/u/IANAPUA_Yet hit the nail on the head. People don't go to clubs/bars to ponder on life and open up to a stranger or any of that shit. They go there to have fun. Get in your zone a little bit and learn how to have fun conversation instead of deep conversation.

It has taken me a very, very long time to develop a good fashion sense, one that's constantly evolving. Was it worth it? No doubt about it. I have my own style and never walk around in sweats or anything like that. It takes a while to develop, but time is going to pass anyways isn't it?
/r/seduction09/05/16 09:41 PM

Hmm that's interesting. In my experience since girls will hold eye contact with me as an invitation and others will look away disinterested. How can you tell they're been shy? Do they smile after they look away then look right back at you?
/r/seduction28/04/16 09:53 AM
10

Get on the dance and look around. Any hot girl you see make eye contact with them and hold it. If they look at you and look away, find someone else. They stare back, go up to them and do some brief talking maybe then dance. That's how I go about it.

You wanna know where that mindset is gonna get you? The most depressing fucking place on Reddit: /r/ForeverAlone. Since I'm still in high school, I'll try to give you some advice. First, stop being such a damn try hard and chill out. I used to be in the same exact boat. It took me a while to get out of it, a couple of years, but damn it the feeling is so liberating, like living with chains on all your life and finally taking them off. Just keep leaving your comfort zone and you'll get there.

You keep getting angrier and angrier. I'll try to explain it to you. Is it useful to be mad that you failed an exam? Absolutely. It was entirely your fault and thus by getting mad and disappointed you can hopefully score better next time. It is in your control. Is it useful to get mad that people are rude? It's the natural response, but it is pointless. You can get as angry as you want, yell at people, post a bunch of shit on here, but it will not make any of those rude people nice. So really, y…

This girl is volatile, unpredictable, and does not have her shot together in the slightest. She could be carrying an STD, she could make pregnancy scare against you like she did her sophomore year, etc. This girl has a lot of problems and you will only get dragged into them if you continue to associate with her. High school senior here. A good chunk of the friends I hang out with weekly I met either through running cross country or being in Leadership, or I met them through one of those people. You need to have good social circle game to thrive in high school. Meet other people through your already existing friends. If you don't have any friends, join a sport. If you have any specific questions I can answer them.

Sorry I meant simple. If you just "grow a pair" and start being super social you're gonna come off as a complete creep. It takes months, sometimes years to learn when it is acceptable to talk, what is acceptable to talk about, social ques, etc. It takes even longer to learn to do this all subconsciously. So telling someone to grow a pair is not very good advice.

I don't think it's that. Going out and enjoying yourself takes an investment and carries risk. You have to get ready, make sure you're presentable and all that which can take some time. And when you're setting up a date, your not really focusing on those things.

Stop being such a pussy. You can't please everyone. Don't get hungover about making someone feel awkward, because it's not the last time you'll do it and it won't be the last time they feel awkward. Emotions like that are just a natural part of being alive. Now, I'm not saying you should completely disregard people's feelings and go around doing and saying rapey stuff. If you do make a situation awkward, just learn from the experience and you'll be that much closer to reaching your goal.

Don't cold approach in high school, you'll most likely get shot down and maybe have rumors spread about you. In high school you meet people almost exclusively through expanding your social circle. If you haven't already, come over to /r/highseddit for seduction oriented more around high school.

You know the Golden Rule right? Love thy neighbor. Well, above the Golden Rule is the Platinum Rule: never love thy neighbor. All this is paraphrased from an episode of How I Met Your Mother. I do the work of Brodin and Broseidon for none except them. Stay away from the path of [Crossfit] evil.

I have also been into Crossfit for the past three years and it as well is a strong social environment I highly suggest looking into. I don't think Satanism will help much in attracting females.

Wait, so you actually have to TALK to people for them to like you? I never would never guessed. The videos OP linked don't say anything about this!

It's a run on sentence. Plus there are some abbreviations (or typos) in there I don't understand.

You've got one question mark in your entire little paragraph there, that's it. I have no idea what you are trying to say.

I'm a fucking teenager (if that means anything) and I think that's pretty shallow and fucked up.

You did the right thing. Plus, I don't think I'd be able to look someone in the eyes if I saw them nude.

Your comparison to Odysseus and Penelope? Although too mushy gushy and cheesy for my taste, it was genius nonetheless!

I sit behind a kid in 2nd hour that does not know what deodorant is. For the love of all things holy, do not put the people around you to such torture by refusing to bathe.

If she has a job, she better be paying her fair share, at least that's what I believe. I think you dodged a bullet there to be honest.

I know exactly how you feel! I am such an introvert but somehow I'm managing to change my ways. I am actually carry conversations with people, speak loudly, and make appropriate jokes! I don't think I'd be able to recognize the kid I was two years ago. Now, I find that something as simple as smiling to a person in the hallway that I recently met becomes oh so satisfying. And now people start conversations with me, sometimes multiple people at the same time and I struggle to talk to everyone at o…

I've trained myself to just find something in common with whoever (guy or girl) I might be talking to. For example, yesterday I asked a girl who I knew was on the soccer team how her game was the other day and the conversation took off from there.

Maybe it's just me but generally, us teenagers (I'm 16) don't call each other unless it's something of significance. So I don't call people to ask them how they are, I call people to ask them if they want to hang out or if they've got the math homework finished. It all just seems a little weird to me what you're saying.

How do you open on the phone? Like, what is your "reason" for calling or opening to the conversation?

I do this often too just not with women. I look at some people and see that they are smarter than me, or more athletic than me. For every little thing I can do, there are millions who are better. I just look at it as an incentive to improve.

Late to the party but people just give a shit about you more. When you talk, they listen even if you're saying something stupid. If you try to take control of a situation, no one resists. Everyone is just much much friendlier.
