I think the problem lies with brain dead redditors actually believing these obviously fake stories to confirm their bias’s.

I want to gouge my eyes out everytime i see a woman act like they have it “worse” in the suicide department. It’s worse when a man starts blaming men for it too. The one thing that society does not care about and that is so statistically high it should be an epidemic is 1. Forgotten about and 2. Is turned and used against us.

People are just gonna forget these men through more shit than the women will ever go through and then cry about how bad women have it in Ukraine in a couple of years and how easy men got it

Yeah every time i see people make bald jokes, short jokes or dick jokes their excuse is “well they deserve it”. Except when they make these jokes they’re keeping the societal view on these things that men are BORN with alive and well. It just doesn’t make sense. Like if someone’s a bad person why attack the thing that they had no control over instead of y’a know the thing that made them the bad person in the first place.

Honestly I think this should be common sense. Men are not valued on their looks or have at least society wise has “value” just by being a man which is why men have to “do things”. I liken this to women going the extra mile for their looks whether it’s make up, dresses, jewelry etc. It’s just about the environment we’re put into and said environments just like a science experiment will yield said results

Yeah don’t get me wrong I’d still choose to be on the left in terms of self expression and freedom for men but at this same time there’s so many stupid generalizations and factually wrong opinions about men on this side I dont know which one is worse to be honest

Yeah, the worst part is feeling like you have HAVE to put up with it because gender expectations is men doing things for women. It was my first relationship, and I felt like it was my job to be her “hero” so I had to put up with her mentally abusive bs while I can’t talk about my own feelings or else she’ll see me as “weak”.

I mean some woman say they advocate for men just to say that they do. The problem is that even in the group that do support men, there isn’t enough traction on male issues that a lot of them aren’t educated on the subject. Feminists have already made it so that “male issues” and men bringing them up are misogynistic so men in general won’t be taken seriously. This is also harder because a man complaining is seen as weak to not only other men but especially women. On top of all this there is no “…

I’ve met many women who are like this. And it kind of makes sense to when you think about it because modern day feminism says you’re empowering if you’re a victim against the “patriarchy” and wanting to fight against it. Therefore you’re not reeeally a woman if you’re not being victimized in some sense. It’s why some women will try and find areas in there life where they are “victims” when they’re not and twox has so many overblown stories where this is evident. My ex was like this as well, she …

Nah you’re misinterpreting it. No where does it explicitly say a guy had to reach out to another guy. I would agree if it says “guys should help your guys” but it doesn’t. In fact this poster gets a pass from me because it specifically mentions men die by suicide more than women. Like they actually made the comparison which feminists would lose their mind over for god knows what reason. When it says “guys” as well it’s only used when it’s about helping “guys” meaning the focus is on men needing …

This ain’t it. Don’t get me wrong, there are circle jerks but when people go the “eh it all turns into incel shit” they’re usually the people who don’t actually read discussions and have already made up their mind about groups of men. The reason why anti feminism comes up a lot is because there is no where else to publicly criticize it. There are so many barriers to go through when criticizing feminism that it’s insanely hard to have a proper conversation. Even feminists won’t criticize bad femi…

I hate this remark so much because it’s just playing ignorance to the world men are born into where value is heavily placed on female attention so a subconscious level, so when they don’t understand or empathize with the context of these discussions it’s just a slap in the face to ignore issues men face. It’s like saying “why are all these people talking about alcohol at an AA meeting?” They undermine just how invasive the topic of “women” is in men’s lives.

I believe everyone has a set "mental threshold" basically how much bullshit you can take. Arguing with rad fems unfortunately will never change their minds, ignoring is the best we can do for our own sanities honestly

I see this shit said when men bring up the horrors of war and how thousands of men were practically brainwashed and sent to their deaths for something they had no control over. "Well thats because WOMEN were considered too weak to be drafted!" Like buddy, I WISH I was considered too weak so that I wouldnt have to give up my fucking LIFE to be seen as a person.

This was bound to happen tbh. There’s a hierarchy in terms of “wokeness” and who gets given the benefit of the doubt at the very least on social media. Black men are below women and when it comes to awful women they usually just throw them in the “Karen” category to pretend they’re not actually part of the women category or just make up excuses as to why they acted this way

Self expression. As a dude who’s into fashion and would kill to look “pretty”, men’s fashion compared to women’s is so constricting and it depresses me. I’ve had women try to say dress codes are hard for them in the work place when in reality men literally only have one type of thing to wear that’s acceptable (suits, dress shirt and pants) whereas women have pants, skirts, heels, shoes, blazers, dress shirts etc etc). Also it’s so ass backwards that women have the privilege of make up and wearin…

Um no, people in general know not to rape. The people that do do it do it with intention, they’ve already made up their minds and the ones who don’t do it understand that it’s common sense. When we say good people it’s under the assumption that they know what not to do

Feminists need to turn everything into a female issue. I legit saw a headline about Tom Holland and Zendaya where they called it “misogynistic” that people were talking about their height differences when in reality it’s literally only because Tom Holland is short and has nothing to do with Zendayas height at all

They’re also the same to say they “support male issues” akin to how big companies “care about climate change” by having paper straws.

I’d say it stems from the ingrained idea that a woman’s attention = value in society. We HAVE to think women are wonderful ever since we are kids, movies, media, stories always paints women as worth risking your damn life for. So inherently and at a young age boys are taught that women can’t do no wrong and the thing you should be risking your life for cant not be wonderful because then why risk your life for it. It’s giving them the benefit of the doubt right from the get go.

I’ve had women do this before where they’ve flat out state at the end of their discussion that “I have to bring up male issues so that you men can listen to female issues”. Meaning they genuinely don’t give a shit about solving these issues and just want to be seen as the defacto victim. Her arguments were as bad as the occasional misandrist feminist btw and her points for male issues were flat out wrong
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/02/22 04:42 PM

It has nothing to do with the fact that you are a women, countless women have come to this sub and had great conversations. The fact that you’re trying to victimize yourself by saying “oh it’s because I’m a woman” is excusing yourself at looking at your own points and trying to come to a better understanding.

You wouldn’t have to “pretend to be a man” if your points actually were thought out in the slightest. The fact that your using your “experience” i.e anecdotal evidence to make grand claims and generalizations is bad enough. I guarantee there are more feminists who are loud and obnoxious when it comes to a man trying to talk about his problems. They want to have their cake and eat it too. Victimizing oneself has so many benefits especially when you have society at large backing you up
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/01/22 05:13 PM

Because if we’re not with them we’re against them. They’ve convinced themselves they’re the victims of the world so if someone else who isn’t them is a victim that means they’re losing/being “forgotten”. Kind of like a spoiled child who gets pampered too much that if one of the parents talks to their brother/sister they throw a fit.

I think you’ve gotten it in your head that every single thing about feminism is wrong which isn’t the case entirely. The tin man advocates for those good parts as well as criticizes the bad parts, which is what everyone should be doing

Yang has lost my respect before for some stuff he did but he gained it back with this. It’s saddening that it’s taken this long for someone with a name to talk about men’s issues but I’m glad he did it.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/01/22 04:30 PM

It literally comes down to talking with nuance. Unfortunately people in general don’t want to talk with nuance because it’s easier to generalize and on top of that people are more receptive to black and white thinking because it’s easier to understand and repeat.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/01/22 09:03 PM

Because people blame men because it’s “their choice”. Hell even in the MensLib subreddit there was a thread about why men get covid way more than women and I only saw ONE comment talking about how men work harder, riskier and physical jobs. Where most of the comments were blaming the men themselves for not seeing a doctor, not getting help etc.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/01/22 05:02 PM

The biggest biggest flaw that excuses “feminists” of responsibility is saying “oh they’re not true feminists”. Feminists have to hold each other accountable for just sexist/toxic ways of thinking which many of them do have. But I see NONE of that especially by people who say they’re “true feminists”. They just cast them aside as “oh they aren’t actual feminists” without holding them responsible for what they’re spouting.

“Projection”. When someone says “you’re allowed to bad mouth women with no repercussions” it’s implies bad mouthing women ever should be stopped. A weird specific take on bad mouthing women when in reality there are bad women out there and men are allowed to vent about them. It’s going after something that’s a non problem when bad mouthing men is a socially acceptable thing to do literally everywhere
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates24/01/22 07:21 PM

Menslib is a gigantic echo chamber. No one wanted to actually discuss the nuance of the situation, they just wanted a reason to hate men and label them as a problem. Assuming someone is a rapist because someone else tells a story with many variables and questionable moments in it is how you get people lying about being sexually assaulted for moral and social benefit when it never happened.

No ofc it doesn’t but you’re making it out to seem like this is a one sided thing that men only do to women. Men bad mouthing women in general is seen as as a negative thing at least on the Internet. Whereas it’s the opposite for women bad mouthing men and them being rewarded for it.

I think you’re assuming way too much. In the story he said he chose to go through with it because he didn’t want to let her down. Drinking isn’t this magical drug that makes you do things you don’t want to do sometimes you’re on a date, you drink with someone, you both are into it and it’s a great night. Does that mean the less drunk person raped the person that was drunk even though they both enjoyed it? If he was pressured into it more and more he would’ve said it in the story. The only thing …

I think this story has more to do with the pressures men have when it comes to going through with sex. He gave consent multiple times and highlighted that the only reason why he went through with it was because he wanted to not let her down. I.e prove he was a “real man” by having sex with her. I mean they’re still doing fine but I do think that them being known as the male go to “razed company” has diluted a lot since then. There are more and more male razer companies propping up like manscaped and dollar shave club that I’ve been getting more familiar with but Gillette is still doing well just because of brand recognition over the years

As a guy who feels more “feminine” I.e caring about fashion and the way I look, wanting to feel safe and protected, not wanting my self worth to come from my job/money, I’d prefer rather have the privileges of a girl than the ones men have Don’t even get me started on balding lmao
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates18/01/22 01:33 AM

This is what always just mind blows me, the idea that something could constantly be said is the problem yet not directly doing anything to fix it at its core. It just doesn’t make sense. Men aren’t born sexist or criminals or suicidal yet society for multiple reasons turns men into this yet feminists have convinced literally everyone that men are helpless and we shouldn’t give two shits about them
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates16/01/22 03:50 PM

Women don’t know what it’s like to be men. It’s sickening seeing how they think they know how life is like as a man and puts words in our mouths essentially gaslighting our experiences. One incredibly infuriating example of this was on twox where they essentially made fun of men for saying “we don’t get compliments” with femcels saying “well doesn’t your mom compliment you” and “these men are lying, what else is new”. It’s so mind numbing

I legit don’t think the reason why men “don’t cry” isn’t even a biological one. Normally I think when people think of cat calling they think of the creepiness of it from guys they don’t want not that odd chance it might be a guy they do want. So it’s understandable that being put on the spot randomly by someone you don’t know and most likely don’t find attractive is more of a negative thing Regardless there is a psychological aspect to it as well as there is with most things. Your brain on cat calling is assuming there are more successful cat calls then ones that fail. That’s just not true because if it was it’d be the norm to cat call. There are far more ugly dudes that cat call out of desperation than chads. Your brain on watching pick up artist videos and thinking that applies to every guy. Most guys don’t know how to look attractive enough to warrant cat calling.

True! It def is a “hey I’m here” and sort of puts the ball in the girls court because it’s a way to see if they approve before you initiate so you know you’re not gonna be rejected
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/12/21 02:26 AM

Disgaree on the fact that it has mainly to do with that, a lot of men do this without peers in fact the loneliness pushes them further to cat call even by themselves. I’ve seen many men by themselves do this on their own. I agree though that men do it because men and women shame other men for not getting enough female attention. You’re forgetting tho that a lot of men have nothing to lose when they’ve hit rock bottom and cat calling happens a lot at night for a reason.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/12/21 02:12 AM

For me I found it basically being the consequences of men being told that they have to initiate and women don’t. The reality is this means guys can initiate in any way because people under estimate the mental strain that is rejection so men compensate by initiating in ways that will net them less mental hurt, it’s human nature to reduce pain by finding shortcuts. This is where cat calling comes into play because it’s an over exaggerated way to hit on a girl and if you get rejected you can just w…

This whole “no draft” discussion only starts propping up when women potentially get added to the draft. It’s been years with men on the draft and people only care when women are being added to it. If we ARE having a draft both have responsibility for it, that is what actual equality is about.
