From Texas, recently divorced. Move that money into your individual account ASAP. That way she can't suddenly drain it. At least in Texas that is not illegal. There is a paper trail that proves that proves the origin of those funds, and also where they went. All this is discoverable. Remarried 5 years after a short marriage like yours. I truly thought Id make a better choice the second time, wanted a partner and a family. Guess what divorced again after 8 years of marriage and 2 toddlers. Wife filed, just dissatisfied with marriage, she gets child support (so she is essentially whole), even though I basically have 47% possession, plus a nice settlement. Best part is I thought it would be great to move to her home town where she had a support system, so she had people to hang out and vent with, so she could stop using me as an emotional punching bag. That worked out real swell ... Lol

Thanks for this, real actionable advice. I had my temp orders hearing. I felt like I had a pretty strong case, but my lawyers completely messed up the presentation. Compared to the other lawyers who argued cases before mine, and, my STBXW's lawyer, my team felt like amateurs. I really need to get some pros in before mediation. Already feel beat up, and feel like I am getting gas light, first by my Ex, and now by my own lawyers.
