The Red Pill is about theorizing the reasons why PUA works and analyze the culture struggle between both sexes with a bias toward men. PUAs don't care why something works or hate women. They just want to date women and have fun.

The virgin if they are equal in attractiveness. Above what number does a guy's n-count become a red flag? At 25 years old? N > 20 is a red flag. Starting at 17 years old requiring 2.5 N per year. Is there any number that is too low? No. What is the ideal n-count in a man for you? There is no ideal. Is this number significantly higher or lower than your own n-count, or about the same? No particular preference.

The two groups never formally met to learn about any aggressive behavior. They just made assumptions about each other. My IRL experience and the responses to my post about victim shaming about a potential sexual assault is enough evidence for me.

What's weird about all the attacks on male sexuality is that the male themselves are participating as well. I had a friend who hung out with two different social groups of men. Both groups were warning her about the other group and telling her that she shouldn't trust them or drink alcohol around them. It was hilarious.

Why? Being ignorant means you don't know the risk or avoid learning about it. I know the risk and accepted it as a part of life. Hence the middle of dismissal and acceptance.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/18 11:33 PM
2

You described dismissal as being willfully ignorant or believe in socially engineering the risk away. For acceptance, it's being turned on by the danger.

This reminds me of a post I made here asking what is an acceptable amount of risk to take around men. Like others said, there is a category between Dismissal and Acceptance. I know that a man can kill me easily when getting intimate, but the risk of that happening is small so I don't think about it.

Yeah it does. My first theory was more about why I would make a list but when thinking about the type of women who make lists and rub it into people's faces, it gave me more of a clear answer.

While single, did you ever feel some loneliness or anything analogue that led you to consider a relationship? Yes. After several failed relationships at 26, I was approached by a divorced man who was 7 years older than me. We started dating, told me that he loved me and wanted to marry me within 3 months. If I was younger I probably would have insisted to wait but he was the first man to ever tell me he loved me so I thought this was it. The relationship fell apart within a year after he passive…

A leftist delusion? I view it as a right wing conservative standard. That standard for marriage has been around for a long time. Today's progressive youth are very anti home ownership and many are opting for courthouse weddings.

Have you ever dated someone, initially been attracted to them, lost attraction due to some trait appearing (for instance, neediness) during the dating process, and then regained attraction again at a later point? If so - what happened? It happened to me and my ex. Due to long distance we broke up over the phone. He was already planning on coming to visit me so we decided to hang out and fool around. Initially when I saw him after not seeing him for several months, I thought he looked like a nerd…

I agree with many of your new points. With age comes new perspective and most young people who get married too fast end up divorced because of the new perspective. About the second point, I think those people were callous even when they were young. The callousness caused most of the failed relationships. I could have wallowed in self pity and became a bitch after my failed relationships but I got on OkCupid and forced myself to start seeing other men. Resilience isn't a trait that everyone natur…

I'm interpreting your statement is as attractive women have all the power to make men commit to them in LTRs and marriage. Man don't have control over it even though they typically propose.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/18 05:28 AM

Can you elaborate on that? Personally I think it's stupid for the woman to take him back after him refusing her several years prior. Her ex-boyfriend that dated her within the three year gap is upset with her because he thinks she deserves better. Are you calling it lame because some men are not conforming to your standards?

I wasn't financially guaranteed yet like I am now. The Today had an interesting article about that. https://www.today.com/health/reason-why-men-marry-some-women-not-others-t74671 Most men who graduate from high school start thinking of marriage as a real possibility when they are 23 or 24. Most men who graduate from college don’t start considering marriage as a real possibility until age 26. When men go to graduate school, it takes them longer to get into the working world, and they’re not ready…

Assuming that they weren't trying when they were younger. Looks aren't the ultimate determination of whether a man will propose. It's a simplistic system that men came up because they don't see things from the women's POV and selectively not remembering when men dump women or refuse to marry their LTRs. Looks just open the door to casual sex and a date or two. I fell in love twice before my husband that I married at 30. First love was at 20, dated for 4 years and he wasn't ready for marriage. Se…

How would the world be if the people of power had a RP view? For women who have the upper hand in the SMV market place probably won't change much. Most will not get married at 18 at their most attractive state, find someone they actually like around 24 or 25 and get married around 27. How would the world be if the blue pill were the minority view of the world? I don't think much changes will happen mainly because men will always want more sex than women. You could have several men try to avoid b…

There is a black pill blog post about a father advising his daughter to wait until her 30's to start having children. http://www.blackdragonblog.com/2013/07/11/5-pieces-of-advice-for-my-daughter/ In his comment section he defended his advice when it came to the health of the child. If you’re a woman, having a baby at age 25 represents a risk of a faction of one percent. Just waiting just 5 years to age 30 still represents a faction of one percent, albeit a little larger of a faction. However you…

"Tit-for-tat" is basically the main principle of all early state dating I agree with this. There was a guy from online dating I went on two dates with. I wasn't really interested beyond that. Thankfully he didn't message me for a third. If the women isn't doing any initiating in messages and/or setting up future dates, just stop talking to her. In early period dating, you should focus on identifying as many potential "deal-breakers" as you can. One of the things about my husband that drew me in …

No, boring guys finish last. When you meet someone and that person got no distinguishable personality then often times when explaining what type of person he or she is to others people usually use the word "nice". I don't think either examples are lying by omission. In the first situation if the woman is calling the man her boyfriend and he doesn't correct her than sure. Seriously who in the world would be together with someone for a year and not have this conversation? In the second example if the man started saying stuff like "You only been with 4 men in the your life" and she doesn't correct him than sure. I didn't have sex with my high school boyfriend. No, the corresponding right wouldn't be to deny the father parenthood, as the father wouldn't have the right to deny the mother parenthood either. I don't know where you got that from. It's not about corresponding right. If a woman choose birth and collect child support against the man's wishes is considered "forcing" parenthood then getting an abortion against the man's wishes is "denying" parenthood. The corresponding right would be if a woman wanted to remand the custody of a child she bears …

Lots of people are saying that women should not make men unwillingly take on responsibilities of children. I would probably be in this camp too if it wasn't for the fact that this can also go the other way around. This means women have the right to deny men of responsibilities of children. Is that fair? If a man have unprotected sex, gets a woman pregnant, happy about the pregnancy but then gets angry/sad that the woman decides to get an abortion thinking it's that he should have a say in the ma…

But what my point actually was: I can't really say inhowfar that survey was accurate. But the fact alone that this BP girl thought that it supported her position because she couldn't be assed to even try to do the math - she probably just thought "hey, 4 isn't that much"; which is correct, it just wasn't really a feasible argument against, which was "tattooed women are more likely to be sluts than those without body mods". 1: How many woman find that "white-knighting" and "feminism" and all that stuff actually boosts the attractiveness of a man if the man is already attractive? As long as it's genuine then yes. Nothing in my post suggest that I don't understand the difference between "hating sluts" and "not wanting to LTR sluts". To claim that there are zero men out there who hate sluts is false.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/18 04:24 AM

My theory is that there is two types of men. Men who hate sluts because they are not getting the sex that sluts are willing to give to other men. It's taking anger out on the sluts because they themselves are below the already low standards that the sluts have. Some men like to hate fuck. Some men really get off on having sex with women and imagining the women's "value" corroding away by the touch of their penis.

If my husband go through a medical emergency and can't make decisions for himself then I would like to be the legally assigned person to make the decisions for him. The arguments against this, more or less are entitlement. My (mid 20's) friend was called a slut at a party when she has only been with one man (ex husband who cheated on her) Why? The man who called her that made assumptions about her based on her friends reputations. Why are men allowed to make assumptions about a woman that he does not personally know and attack her with name calling? Why is being mean not a good enough excuse to stop such nasty behavior? Which men stand to lose the most if TRP ideology/principles spread? The sizeable portion of young men will go MGTOW after the first couple of unsuccessful attempts at interacting with women or with no attempt at all. Depends on how the women view the random niceties or whether they are even conscious of them. Last week, a man ran to open the door for me. It wasn't like I was carrying any boxes. I found it odd. Random niceties isn't a huge part of my life. I'm not highly attractive so it probably never been a part in the first place. I think being carded less when ordering alcohol is the first wall. Meanwhile, certain forms of close relationships—such as marriage, fatherhood, and increased time spent with children—are causally linked to lower testosterone levels. Yet here again the evidence is muddled: On the one hand, Gen-X and Millennial men are marrying later and having fewer kids. On the other hand, young men today are more likely to live with other people—which may promote prosocial hormones like oxytocin that are natural antagonists to testosterone. And those who are fathers are spend…

This is essentially collectivism vs capitalism. You can live your dating life in a way that does not reward bad behavior from the opposite sex with the goal that your actions will benefit other people in the long term. Or You can live your dating life as an individual, be free to reward bad behavior for short term gains and pay no mind to how your actions may affect other people.

Locking your door takes a second to do, it's cheap and effective. It does not effect one's life in any meaningful way. The tiny investment in time and money out is worth the security. Avoiding gas stations however does effect one's life. If your car don't have gas, you can't go to work, no work equals no money, no money equals no roo…

But the thing is, men experience the same all the time. I mean some drunk guy doing stupid shit or whatever. Can you give me more specific examples? I don't see how you can even classify it as sexual in nature. Because he called her hot before? Yes and immediately tried to get to her. I'm confident with my assumption. Is everything bad a man does to a woman per definition sexual. No.

I never heard of that saying before. This is the first time I explored this general idea. I always understood the reasoning behind victim blaming when the victim was drinking alcohol because it put themselves in a weakened state where they would not be able to fight back if something happens. I don't understand sober victim blaming for something that can happen practically anywhere in public. The closest victim blaming I ever heard of that is just as strange as avoiding gas stations were wearing…

It wasn't called sexual assault. She was almost assaulted. The automatic lock was what made the difference. If a drunk man had the audacity to try to get into someone else's car it's safe to assume that he had the audacity to try something else. It was 1030PM.

You missed the point. Just because the situation isn't common (Idk whether something like this can even be statistically measured) doesn't mean that the police officer should tell my roommate to take being almost attacked as a compliment. It doesn't mean that my friend shouldn't be allowed to have hurt feelings for the racism that she experienced. The dismissal of the severity of the situations are what is common. This new movement is happening within the black community as well. The rise of the social media and smart phones has changed the way we communicate with each other about racism. For years black people have experienced racism but had a hard time garnering validation from white people. It's the law of diminishing return for lots of regular men. It's literally not worth it to them to put an inordinate amount of effort to get the "hot girl". How am I reaching? Women have the right to choose to have an abortion. You said that men have to be "eligible" to have a financal abortion in certain situations. See below. Then he would not be eligible to abort. So it's my speculation vs your speculation. Mine is based on the idea that financial abortion is an attempt to make things equal between sexes. I'm trying to state the unintended consequences of such a right for men. Yours is based on current marriage laws and how financial abortions will follow suit for married men. What is wrong with your speculation is that if a married man DNA test their wife's child and it turns out not to be theirs then the married man can walk away. Now the actual father …

Nature has a different definition of healthy than society. We are in an age where nutrients are abundant and living longer than ever. Babies are successfully born everyday from overweight women. These babies are not having any problems growing into adulthood and having babies themselves. This is what nature cares about and what it considers the benchmark of health. Most diseases caused by today's unhealthy diets significantly affect people after procreation.

It's good to hear from some pre-TRP OG on the subreddit. The thing that I disagree with sending young men off to TRP first is that the dating/mating advice (LMR, dread, frame, etc) can only be used after you get a date or already in a relationship. TRP doesn't really help one initiate contact with the opposite sex. I guess with online dating, many of the PUA techniques for physically approaching a woman is irrelevant now and I'm just behind with the times.

PUA and TRP are different though. PUA focuses on pick up and seduction. The PUA community is where TRP took form and branched off. TRP is a brand of politics of gender dynamics. Read: https://matingmarket.wordpress.com/2015/04/13/the-manosphere-killed-pua/ Note: The link talks about MRA which isn't exactly TRP but you have to believe in TRP in order to be MRA.

Negative in general. I had 4 FWBs in my life. One caught feelings for me and wanted a relationship. No one goes through a 2nd hand car salesman thinking they will get the MV for their car. The seller values the time, labor and insurance saved through the quick turn around of their car. It's not comparable. The salesmen are the pimps and madams of the prostitution marketplace.

SMV doesn’t offer a problem in this regard most other goods don’t also have. How? If most other goods were based on a bartering system you might have a point but we have money. 2 dollars will always be better than 1 dollar. Money clearly signals what something is worth in the general marketplace.

For escorts too, though, right? You mentioned prostitution as an objectively-priced "market"... Yes. But only for women and it's not the currency the majority uses.... because it's illegal.

What do you mean by this? The SMV model works when you look at the trend of how people match within a large population. Athletic people tend to date other athletic people, fat with fat, etc... But we know that the there is a substantial amount of successful couples out there who are not "look matched" or unsuccessful couples even when they were "look matched". Maybe these couples were attracted/unattracted to each other for other reasons such as economic background, sense of humor, favorite movi…

What about human individuality/uniqueness? What about respect for a unique human individual? The SMV model doesn't work at the individual level. It works at the general population level where variables such as unique characteristics are ignored. Which I think is really useless IRL dating because all of us diverge away from the average in some aspect. The problem with the SMV model is that unless you are looking at prostitution which realistically only work on the value of women, the currency use…

True. I did miss it. About your point, doesn't that can be said about anything? Attracted qualities doesn't live in a vacuum even physical ones. You may meet a girl who you were indifferent to until you found out about her interest in comics. Physical attraction seem to be made into the end all and be all. You can be neutral in physical attractiveness and win someone over with other attributes.

The statement by itself? No. It's not criticism. When men go around saying this it usually comes across annoying or at worst give them an excuse to act like a jerk to everyone. That is what bpillers don't like. Also it's a misunderstanding of what is attractive. Being confident and assertive is attractive. But men who have those traits also tend to be "bad boys". Lots of women don't know that they started dating a "bad boy" until they are later into the relationship and already developed feeling…

It feels good when someone you are dating helps you out and that good feeling though it fades over time affects you're mood later on which is affects how seducible you are. 0.1% is not really the "HAWT" territory.... That is like saying "dieting is impossible" and "people should be punished for stealing food because they had the choice not to". The difference is long term self control vs short term self control. Most people fail at dieting because of a lack of self control in the long term just like abstinence. Food and sex is in our long term biological drive. But most people have enough self control in the short term resist the urge to steal food and rape. Plus other efforts need to be made to steal and ra…

Yes it is possible to disregard another person's preferences by stating that the alternative is "not that bad" based on a different person's preference. It's a source of stress for many men. Obviously women should not have to become thinner if they don't what to. Women don't owe men anything. But I think men shouldn't be told to be attracted to something that they are not.

Slightly chubby women aren't that bad This is the thing. Most men will prefer a thinner women. Yeah most will settle for a chubby women but the fact that they need to settle is what they don't like. It's the blatant disregard for men's preferences that Red Pillars don't like.

Overall it's the backlash of today's feministic cultural landscape in western society which make men feel devalued, used and attacked. AFBB - If a man is in a LTR with a woman who was not virginal and young in the beginning of the relationship, he is automatically a beta bucks regardless of context. On the internet it is hard to understand the complexity of other's IRL relationships. Simple rules like this is created to protect men by reducing the chance of them becoming a beta. 2: A certain part of the "The Most Responsible Teenager In The House" is counter-intuitive which is that women crave boundaries. It is a common belief that people like being "free". Many don't consider the cost of freedom which is the overwhelming amount of choices one can have in life and the economic cost of choosing one choice over another AKA "paradox of choice". I think craving boundaries are correlated with men and women. People in general like knowing what they can and cannot do. Sticking…

I loved the ending of that video. "Don't be easy but be easy the first 5 seconds." So many RPers talk about how younger women are passing up good men left and right assuming that all men are approaching. That is not the case due to the large amount of those approaches being players. Most women meet their future husbands in their mid to late 20's through their job and their built up social groups which opens up a wide range "right moment" opportunities which most of the good men are waiting for.

Entertainment is very good at selling true love. Society is very good at telling someone to be patient and be themselves because it's the easiest advice to give. But is society capable of giving advice in the first place at a general level? IRL I noticed most unsuccessful men ask advice from people who don't know the men at a personal level. How are people able to give advice to struggling men when nothing is known about the men? Instead of telling these men "I don't know you enough to judge" it…

The amount of ghosting there is in dates and relationships. If you want to reject going out on another date or get out of a relationship tell the other person. There are too many people wasting each others time by hoping the other person will initiate the break up or stop messaging only to resort in ghosting because they are spineless. Stop shaming each others preferences in what they want in another person.

Again, whether that’s a fair characterization or not, that is what BP is bothered by. The site says that “things like being confident [or] becoming physically fit” are not problematic, but they are just “platitudes that are … used by TRPers to mask the negative aspect of their belief system.” This is the core controversy. Associating all women with a bunch of negative characteristics and citing examples of very specific situations that fit their narrative while dismissing others. Anti bullying, …

There is a difference between being confident and being arrogant. Being arrogant is simply a short cut to looking like you're confident. Looking down on others is an easy way to develop frame when you have low self esteem. Ideally one would develop true confidence over time but reality is not everyone will achieve that.

The main reason for this is because they pursue men out of their league. The men aren’t “bad in bed” they just don’t care for some hook ups orgasm, because they know their looks etc are more than enough to keep them coming. You believe that all the men who they happen to have sex with aren't attracted to the them? That sex doesnt have anything to do with attraction? That men have no ego to care about their performance? A more plausible theory is that these women have a hard time orgasming in gen…

1) Ted is a combo of Blue and Red. Blue that he believes in true love. Red that he wasnt willing to settle with less than what he wanted. He didnt stick with a girl out of a sense of obligations. 2) Marshall is pure blue who is also an Alpha. Just because you are a blue doesn't mean you can't come out as Alpha. That's an interesting new way of looking at it. If you can't make women dread about you leaving them, make them dread about leaving your money. Other people on this forum is downing on this strategy but they are removing agency from the woman who accepted the conditions of the financial support. I prefer this dread than the original dread. The original way dread is taking advantage of a woman's insecurity and at a certain level it's not healthy.

No one will want to use such an app. People like control. They want to control what kind of pictures they show, what information to reveal and what age range to aim for. The percentile score will hurt one's feelings and drive most of the customer base away. Some highly attractive people who don't want to be in a relationship will abuse it for validation purposes.

So a third of 20-s range people are virgins. Meaning inceldom might not be as far-fetched or in the far corners of society as we believe. Or rather, being a virgin is on the rise, as stated in a different article: It's not a surprise that after a combination of the HIV scare, sex education with pictures of worst case STD scenarios, early pregnancy equaling to poverty and social media bashing/glorifying each others sex lives that overall young people are not having as much sex as they use to. We're not complaining. Is "frustrated" is a better word to describe how men are feeling about this situation? The problem is the wide chasm between what they want and what they can get, and their inability to be happy or at least content with what they can get. I seen similar comments like this and been pointed out why it's irrational. What I'm trying to figure out is whether it is a stance against general irrational behavior or is it something else. larger point is that he's put in a bad spot because other people are acting like idiots. The same can be said about him. He is putting other people in a bad spot. He should just accept his readily available options and raise another man's child or marry a fat chick. That will make things easier for men who are willing to put in the work for attractive women because there is going to be less competition. A low quality woman will get together with someone decent. And if the reasonable ones are too hard to find, you're stuck trying to work with women who have enormously inflated ideas of their own self-worth. If that is his only option then the culture's definition for reasonable is not compatible with the man. He should stick to his guns, keep searching and find the few that he personally deems reasonable. If only a minority of women is acceptable to the man, an outsider can easily claim that man is unreasonable himself. There is no rule out there that s…

there's a huge difference between being upfront about a reasonable preference and being upfront about a wildly unrealistic preference. And what is this huge difference? Why is being upfront about unreasonable preferences a bad thing? It prevents men from wasting their time. They're criticizing where she sets her standards, not the fact that she has standards. What about when a significant percentage of women have expectations like this? Or they don't state them up front, but wait until you take time out of your schedule for a date? I know men who wasted time talking to a woman only to find out that the woman had a kid a month later. It is a major height difference since we are talking about weight. Check out the BMI calculator for a 5'5 vs 5'7 for 180-187 pounds. It's a 2 point BMI difference between 28 and 30. Every woman that's had more than two dicks inside her is an alpha widow. Her first dick will always be memorable; good or bad. It doesnt really take much to be an alpha huh? Just be a woman's first regardless of context. If that is the standard then the term alpha is pretty much meaningless.
