Was it just mediation or judgement. You don't have to agree to anything but it costs more money to fight. Its a give and take. Just be happy to be ending a bad part of your life. It gets worse and it gets better. My ex's new fiance loves to threaten me and act tough. Its like high school all over with them. End of the day I am happier now than with her so I still win. Good luck

I hear you. Was 50/50 with my 3 kids until she signed for 2 kids 50/50 and one every other weekend. Went from me paying $365 a month plus all her bills to me getting $118. She has failed them every step of the way. Disgusting and ofcourse she wants to change that now that she pays. She'll have to take me to court for that. Do good by the kids thats all we can do.

Personally I would stand my ground. If its not court ordered to have a supervised visit then you do not need one. Have a copy of the most recent custody order and take your kid. Anyone who interferes call the police. They are acting on behalf of the other party who can't dictate how you use your time. Not a lawyer so discuss this with yours briefly first. They may have a whole plan. Communicate in writing. Also check your state laws on recording. You may find its illegal without consent.

I had a similar experience. In my opinion you owe her nothing. The victim mentality is a hard one to deal with. Ive been slandered and threatened but people see through that if they know you well enough. She is asking for forgiveness but sounds like you gave her plenty of opportunities to change and now she should earn it. Its like saying I know I'm a shitty person but I know you left because you fell out of love with me. Puts the blame on you. Take your kids and love them. Good luck man.

Its all going in front of the court anyway. Don't agree to anything. File the papers and start moving on. She can drag your ass in to court as much as she wants and will it be costly? Yep. Will her lawyer bill her for the same hours? Yep. Dont sit idle. Start figuring out everything you have to split. Call a lawyer asap though. Without one you're fucked. It sucks but hopefully it will remind you of what you really need out of a partner in the future. It did for me. Good luck man. We're all here …

Look into filing exclusive use on the house. Not a lawyer but had it used against me when my ex got violent and I left. Show how long she has been gone and your contribution to bills. My suggestion is get a lawyer who allows you to file the paperwork but gives you guidance. In MI they are required to offer it. Saved a ton of 💰

Its only money. If I can stress anything its follow your gut and never stop fighting. Im glad to hear you aren't going to be steamrolled. It takes balls to push against the system that seems to take a different view of fathers. You are never alone.

Find a good therapist and one for the children who is willing to work with you and her if she is willing. Call out your concerns to their therapist and let them find a way to get the kids comfortable with opening up about their mom.I just filed emergency custody of my kids after my son threatened to harm himself. It's harder than the divorce itself to take them away but I'm hoping it will help her fix her relationship with them and see her actions as harmful. The therapist was instrumental in do…

Would this include money her parents gave her too then?

Seems like she works when I have the kids. I live kinda far away from her. Plus she would see the address and steer clear.

She started in january. I cant wait a whole year. Think my lawyer could force the company to report her wages?

Same here. She gave them the same account but changed it in jail. They decided not to prosecute. She changed the locks once I left. It's a nightmare right now but it will get better.

Was she physically abusive? In my case I left but took the high road. Left her unblocked and just kept it as civil as possible. Said what I needed to but with out the fuck yous. The texts that poured in are very damning. She couldnt control herself and it's going to bite her in the ass.

Brother I feel you. I did the same 3 months ago. It's been nasty from her end and I'm being portrayed as everything she was to me. Time will shed light on her ways. Stay strong and when she gets to you stop communicating. It's the best advice I have. Manipulators hate when you ignore them. Keep us posted and we are all here for you!

Texting other men and admitting her heart was elsewhere then telling me bring home more wine or she would put another dick in her. Deal with it and stop sulking. Life has gotten so much better!

That's not an option with her. Everything she does is manipulative. It's all about what benefits her. I know this sounds like typical "my ex is a bitch" but she tells the kids I was abusive towards them, makes them write nasty letters to me, told them I left to start a new family, blocked me from taking them to therapy, threatened to change schools...... I could go on for hours. It's all documented through text, recorded phone calls, emails, voice recordings. I have what I need but no one seems …

If we could be civil we wouldn't be here. It's her issues with controlling everything that has made her unwilling to work on anything. I've tried. Also its 3 kids. 8,5 and 1. I work on call 24/7 365 and she already cut out when I've needed her in sn emergency. Cant count on as anything from her. Atleast I will be finalized one day.

We go in for our custody hearing on the 25th. She called a week ago and relinquished full rights. Changed her mind the next day. I am gearing up to fight that fight next.

Child support already was set. She has been set to minimum wage but she wants it all.

I already am. I've met someone who has supported me emotionally. It feels good to be appreciated.

Elaborate on that. I'm fighting to get the house sold. I would walk with about 50,000

She is on an all expenses paid vacation. She also blocked me getting our 3 kids into therapy. She has filled their head with so much bullshit and it has broken our relationships down. I'm feeling so used and lost.

She changed the locks also. Has all my belongings which she claims are hers and rubs my face in all the guys shes fucking now. I just cant get over how much I was looked over. It reminds me I have to fight everyday.

It was our appeal. Judge wouldn't hear any of it. I had all the documentation. What a fail.

Today was the appeal. The judge started by saying he reviewed all the documents and thinks the order should stand. All of 1 min before him. She filed a response friday at 4:58 pm. Court was today at 8. Spent all weekend printing bank statements that disproved her claims and 548 pages of texts where she showed it was about taking my money and how much she loved being single. Heartbreaking to not even be given the chance to defend myself. Two minutes after we were done she started mocking me throu…

I'm going through the same thing. I would definitely obtain a lawyer and fight back hard. My ex is using the kids as tools so find a therapist for them and make the court order they attend. How is the legal custody set? If its split you can file violations against her for making school/medical decisions without you. I'm not a lawyer but I opted for limited scope representation where a lawyer advises you but you do most of the paperwork and filing. Considerably cheaper. Hang in there it will get …
