No way. You as an adult need a weekend to yourself that is not controlled by your exwife.

Is there a history of violence? Drug use? Alcohol abuse? What makes you think a GAL would give you more than 50/50?

Your anger is clouding your judgement. She is offering you more than you would get otherwise. Look past what’s happening and to the future. Take the deal, get it in writing and sign it before she realizes what she has done.

Yes, to pay my exwife child support for a child that does not live in her household (assuming they’re living in dorms) is absolutely crazy. I would help my child directly if they needed, which you’ll probably still do, on top paying my ex money for someone who’s no longer in her (or mine) household.

For the past three years I’d have my children pick out a gift for their mother, pick a card, wrap it and have them give it to her. I’ve never gotten anything from them for Father’s Day. I decided this year I’m done.

No, do not split vacation costs to her parents.

44 is too young to live the rest of your life unhappy. Marriage involves intimacy and we all have needs for that intimacy.

Everything’s amicable until there’s money involved and they’re told no. You’ve done the logical thing, not the emotional thing, and have protected yourself.

My state if the child continues with college child support continues until age 21. They can live in the dorms full time. Doesn’t matter. Explain that one to me.

Always the case. As soon as you disagree “best interest of the child” etc

Nope, this will come back to bite you in higher child support as the insurance you pay in factored in.

From what you’ve said, no, not unless she agrees to it.

Stand your ground. There is no reason a judge wouldn’t have the equity split 50/50 if the asset was acquired during the marriage.

Look at her parents. She based her relationships on the one she grew up and learned from. If her mom treats her dad like shit and walks all over him. That’s what you’re going to get.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
