It's impossible not to make instant judgements, it's the nature of humanity, but it's up to you to pick their brain and find out, you know? Some of the very people that my brain judged negatively immediately have actually been some of the people who have come through the hardest for me or been the most interesting people :)

Hey man, I get what you're trying to say here but it's definitely showing either your age or immaturity in connecting with other people. Try to consider that people are much deeper than the surface and that there's many of these 'bimbos' that share a lot of your same ideals and interest and being judgemental immediately from the start will eventually lead you down a path where you dismiss the personality and actual connections that you could make by just making blind assumptions in the dark. It …

There is so much to unpack from this post I would just suggest therapy or a good long look at yourself in the mirror

I guess it's easier said than done but the cold truth is that you need to deaden some nerves. It's not all that big of a deal. You're just trying to meet new people and create fun and exciting experiences. The fact is people aren't often in that headspace with you at the same time, because we all live our own lives and are doing our own thing. If it's not the right time, she's not the right one. That shouldn't stop you from meeting new people though, right?! That would be silly, because you stil…

Actually, most states have statues that allow for a 2-3 year gap with a minor to not qualify for statutory rape. Be realistic, there are millions of people living out here with 10+ year age gaps. Is she a minor? Yes. Is he a pedophile? Most definitely not. The law is not so black and white, and there does exist some fine lines in the law.

I hate feeling like I knocked a lot of these out of the park in my last relationship, sometimes the other party just has too much to work on with themselves, and eventually all of these useful tips get overshadowed by internal conflict. Sometimes you can do everything right and it still doesn't work, it's important to remind yourself that it takes two to make a relationship work!

The key for me in this area is confidence. I know confidence gets touted heavily in seddit, but when it comes to showing "your true colors", the only way to do it from square one is to be unapologetic in your existence. You are there because you are supposed to be, and the attitude you have and the thoughts that come to your head are exactly what they should be, and nothing else. When this is your mindset, you will not think about "have I fucked up saying X? What should I be talking about?" etc.…

I suppose this is a reasonable point of view, and maybe my post comes off as too canned. This is 100% not my approach 100% of the time, and Im also willing to bet you're thinking too into the "snap decision" part too much, in fact most women have responded to me well in terms of being forward about my intentions. The point of this opener is exactly the opposite, there is no certain response that I'm relying on, I just make quick small talk and jet if she tells me she has a boyfriend because I do…

Personally, I haven't. I suppose some people may prefer to have that sort of tight tension early, but I generally prefer to keep things lighthearted and without any expectation, and I guess my logic so far has been that the follow up comes off as "Im really not committed to chasing you, for the record" Could be interesting to try though, Im sure there are some girls that prefer it that way.

No dig on OP per se, but this thread definitely brought out the worst of this subreddit so many of y'all talking blind shots in the dark, funny how many different opinions are "sure its the right way"

That's kind of the thing though, is that she does contact me first. It's just that I reply & then it's another 2-3 days before she responds. It's not like I'm going out of my way to stay in touch with her, you know? And right, if she's clearly into someone else, why wouldn't she let me know & make it clear she's uncomfortable having a date with me? That's sort of my logic, either her sister was exaggerating & it's just some dude she's met & hangs out with, I don't know what their deal is & as a …

That's sort of what I'm feeling, and like I mentioned, logistics aren't really A1 for her anyway so I feel prioritizing my own business is the right move. That being said, I'm not too worried about being a back-up plan, because she may as well be that to me. It's not like either of us are committed to anything.

Seed the pull by having the time & logistics for some up-in-the-air time to hang out afterwards. Before then, suggest that something exists worth seeing or doing at or near your or her place. Pretty generic, but considering I don't know you or her, it's the best advice I can give. Best example would be like, "Oh really? you play instruments? I totally just picked up this sampler last week and it's been so much fun messing with it, anyone who plays any sort of music can find so many creative thin…

Girls r pussys I swear. Oh no ur clit skin was cut off solely for your health benefit by the beliefs of your maker, cry to ur mama bout it not me. I'd never try to make someone feel lower because my beliefs are different then their own. Disgusting bruh. 🤮

I can definitely respect that level of effort; I might give it a try somewhere down the line if I can put together a clean playlist. Thanks for the suggestion

I like this idea, but idk if I'd mute it for a seduction music playlist; I feel like that's way too prepped, where as throwing a movie on and lowering the volume just a bit is way more casual and less obvious than: "Hold on babe, I've got this specific combo I like to smash to"

Even if you do find out they have a boyfriend while you're on a date, are you opposed to getting to know her? Girl friends are just as important as girlfriends, my friend. And if she scoffs in your face and laughs at you for asking her out, that's her issue not yours. You're your own person, so own it. Fear only favors fools.

bruv how many signs do you need "hey I think you're cool, we should grab some food after practice if you're down"

Well, the more widespread the loopholes, the more obviously jarring they become and the quicker they become fixed. As much as it disgusts me to see something like this, I think that it's a sign. Early exploiters -> People taking heavier advantage of exploits -> Loopholes fixed The question is really whether or not we can find good alternatives to the laws put in place, and then find a way to campaign in a positive direction that manifests itself into real change. Which I find unlikely, but who k…

Agreed, it's absolutely about the way it's played. I have success consistently with similar approaches to sexual jokes and by no one I've ever met's regard am I creepy. Maybe things would be different if I had some bodies in my trunk, but I personally have had no trouble with these. No one is saying make talking about your dog sexual, but you can pretty much throw sexual tension in the mix at any point after the initial attraction is set and as long as it's playful and not actually fucking weird…

I mean it's good advice, but mostly because it's just a repeat of what everyone on the planet has been saying for years, and definitely trying to hard to do the youtuber vlog body language, was honestly super distracting

This video really annoyed me idk if it was the generic ideas, the regurgitated information, the yelling directly at me in the camera, or the drone shots maybe it was just a combination of all of them

Literally just go in and act as if you have been old friends with the person. Obviously it's not true but for the first 15 minutes, it helps clear the shakeys while you get all the intro shit behind you. Stay focused on learning about her and listen -> respond instead of making the conversation weird by always waiting your turn to speak and trying to spew something 'impressive' or 'interesting'. It's a first date, it's casual, but crucial.

That sort of attitude is limiting, it's not endless jibber-jabber because you can turn and walk away any time. The more you do it, the more you'll find good ways to control the flow of the Single-Serving conversation.

I think the fact that if any male interviewer said this to emma watson, they'd be fired on the spot and public outrage would've followed, explains why.
