yea it's a bit silly, but I think the assumption that crypto in general could be associated with a distrust in the status quo (i.e. the government) is to some extent correct. *edit and since masculinity is being considered a bad thing in most western societies and you can easily make a assumed correlation between masculinity and working out.

I think it's more that those two are more connected to conservative/right leaning ideologies and is thus seen as less empathetic (although that is an inflammatory statement and could also be said to be about "personal responsibility" or "individualistic").

Do something that includes sparring, if it hasn't got sparring it's just for show. As others have said Striking + grappling is good so: Mauy Thai / Kickboxing / Boxing + BJJ / Judo / Wrestling is a good idea or just go to an MMA gym...

Honestly during the pandemic, I've been pretty isolated apart from work, but if I had the opportunity I would love to get back to Judo. I would highly recommend some form of martial art or any other group training, for two or three evenings a week you get to somewhat socialize with people who share a common interest and everyone is supporting and cheering on each other. As I said would highly recommend (and everyone should do some sort of physical activity in order to stay healthy, both physical…

Very common, try to: Get 3x 45min endurance exercise a week, can be walks/stationary bikes/running. Try to find some way to improve your job status (become better at your job, or better qualified for something else). Try to find some hobby you enjoy, preferably a meaningful one, but something you can turn to get some enjoyment.

I would say that they are very similar, both strongly believe in the collective over the individual (race vs race or class vs class), both believe in in feelings over rational discussion, both believe in big government and both believe in the use of force to ensure their viewpoint. Take care of your body, it will be with you for a long time. You don't need to become a bodybuilder, but spending a few hours a week at the gym, or some group activity will do you great. Also try to stay in contact with friends from school and keep your social life going, many people (including myself) found out that making friends when you're out of school can be difficult.

Yea I do too, and although a lot of the comments here makes you believe his book "The Game" glorified PUA, it was a lot harsher look on the scene (PUA's taking each others girl friends, PUA stars being suicidal after a break up and so on), it was not a "wow PUA is cool" book. I really liked his book Emergency.

Food - learn to cook, good skill to have and will save you a lot of money. Fitness - martial art with sparring, good because the group training makes it harder to skip training, and sparring enforces overall fitness and any martial art without sparring is simply for show (my opinion). Swede here, the important thing to note is that because our tax system/welfare programs, there hasn't in modern time been sufficient with 1 salary to sustain a family, thus the idea of house wife is "almost" unheard of except for the Very richest, so almost all women have been in the workforce except for a short time around childbirth. The American view that in the 50/60's the man worked and the women was at home with the kids wasn't true in Sweden.

I feel like trying to create levels of mgtow gets kinda silly, for me it's sufficient with the Don't: Marry/cohabitate/have kids. Otherwise, are we going to have a "don't talk to women" subcategory? The problem with MGTOW is the same thing that I love about it and that is that the ideas that makes you MGTOW are very few and very specific (Don't marry/Have kids/co-habitat). So you get a bunch of these very different people with not much in common, pair that up with human biology and society constantly hounding you to, "Find a women and get her pregnant". Lists are great, for smaller stuff use the 5 sec rule (don't give yourself a chance to think about it, just do it), for things like studying use a timer and say to yourself "I will study for at least 20 min" (or some really small time), because once you've done 20 min it's a lot easier to do another 20 min and so on. Also remove distractions, if you're working on a computer use software to ban distracting websites or programs when you're supposed to study.

Hard thing to answer, I think the CS50 course is a good introduction to anything related to computer science/programming. The cheap answer that I have to retreat to is, send an e-mail to a local university, google it. But please ask someone who makes a living knowing these stuff.

Don't worry as a swede I can tell you that there is such an ingrained "We are so much better then everyone else"/"Holier than thou" atmosphere in this country, that we would never blame you for your women. EDIT: I will give you a great example of the Swedish mindset, a local politician where I live want the government to invest a lot of taxmoney (more than 120,000 US Dollar) into creating a local camel park. Now, you might not know that but we don't have camels in Sweden and the point was to be …

I think it's the opposition of biological that makes MGTOW a more "negative" spin, our biology and culture are telling us "Go get married and reproduce!" and that is powerful stuff, so we need this to remind us not to. While feminism is basically telling females what they want to hear. Feminism is relatively easy to get behind for women, but the redpill is bitter to swallow.

I believe that they have wrongly assumed that men looks for the same thing in women as vice-versa, so the women are trying to get high-paying/status jobs so they can get a better partner, only it doesn't work that way.

I always viewed like he was passionate about cooking and cared for the customers, when he saw someone making a shitty job while trying to appear as a professional, that's when Gordon started yelling. Like Gordon wanted to be a good chef and people doing a piss poor job of it shouldn't be chefs in his opinion. (And of course it was overplayed in the american version).

I think when people hear no go zones they misunderstand what they really are Absolutely, in Sweden it means what I said above, but it might mean other things in different places. The problem (as I see it) is that people are either to far right/left leaning and see it as black/white. It's starting a war between the racist/communists. These are dangerous areas for law and people with cameras. Please people take it serious.
/r/MGTOW20/03/18 01:43 AM

while this is somewhat true (police needs two unites to enter these areas, one to watch the other, and ambulances and firetrucks needs police protection). But arguing over the semantics of "No-go zones" is a bit silly and takes away the real discussion.

I have no idea to be honest, but since I believe men and women see romance differently, homosexual relationship would have it slightly easier (although I have no idea to what degree). I believe women are more realists than men when looking at a relationship (What do I get out of this, How much should I put in? is it worth my effort?) and this you both enter the relationship on more similar footing.

I've had this same problem for a while now (some here might not see it as a problem, but I took it to a pretty obviously unhealthy extreme). Subarashiki Hibi a rather nice visual novel, with some philosophical undertone and except for some of the repetition (playing over the same scene again from another characters POV) I have really enjoyed it. It's the good old type of "guy masturbating over a school desk of a recent suicide victim, later a bunch of kids jumping roof of a tall building due to being high on drugs and then you get a passage from Wittgenstein's Tractatus. In other words, I'm not sure what I'm reading but it's not bori…

Difficult to say, I don't know the answer to this and hope someone else answer it. But if we look at Jungian psychology, every person has three identities, How we see our self, how others see us and how we really are. In MGTOW terms I think our goal is to get our view of our self's as close to how we really are as possible and that means looking critically at our own behavior and attempt to change what we want to change.

Pretty much, lately there has been a chines mma fighter who traveled around China and challenging practitioner of different martial arts and the results where brutal and I believe he had to go into hiding for a short while. The most obvious example that martial arts without sparring is bad would be defense against knife attacks. In real life knife attacks you probably won't see the knife and maybe not even realize you've been attacked until you already have ten or more stab wounds (think prison …

We don't generally hate women, or at least that is a goal for MGTOW. We simply made a cost/benefit analysis over child custody and divorce law and though "This doesn't look that good, I'd rather spend that time/money/effort for improving myself". The reason you see angry posts about women here is that a lot of people didn't realized this until after they've been burned so to speak. So they are angry for a while, while they try to pick themselves up and starts focusing on themself.

Thanks for an informative, well written post and I agree with your opinions. I would like to add an additional trans-issue and that's the one where children claims to be a trans-person. I have no idea at what age one should be allowed to change your sex, but I'm absolutely against people under say 15 years old being allowed to have it. I'm talking about stuff that have a permanent impact, if your 4 year old boy want's to wear a dress and have a pigtails, that's all fine by me.

I'm sorry for your loss and if I could give you a small input from someone with personal experience. Please try to pay some attention to your friend who's self medicating with booze, it can lead one into dark places.

I think it comes down to if you're comfortable with your current self, you would be hesitant to give that up in favour of something different. I have no idea how I would have turned out if I where a women, but I'm sure I would be pretty different from my current self and even though I'm far from perfect, I'm okay with being me.

This could also be a reason for women to seek validation from other guys while in a relationship. If back in our cave days, if a female didn't have a backup plan and she is stuck with a baby, she would be in a really bad situation.

I am indeed a fortunate SoB. But I also feel that Sweden has gotten a bite from the rotten apple. Since we, during the winters have little daylight. I think we have females here you wouldn't be afraid to put in a hard days of work. But as to find my own Unicorn, sorry I'm not looking. Improving myself and my own situation is my priority, and since I'm 30 I don't see myself looking for someone any time soon.

Sweden, a country made out to be a stronghold for the "Fuck you" feminism, but from my experience it's pretty nice, both of my grand mothers (mother and fathers side) worked and tried their hardest to make my father and mothers life better. I am fortunate that my father found a Unicorn, I have nothing bad to say about my mother, as I have nothing bad to say about my father. In Sweden we never had the housewife tradition, and I think there is something that makes some of us stronger.

Absolutely, and it's kind of surreal how people still think communism is a good thing. Then again I live in a country where police/school/healthcare/judicial is controlled by the government and I think it's a good thing. But beyond those "necessities", you're not getting my vote.

As someone new to this community i still don't know a lot about >mgtow. Do you think there are good women who don't fall to the >category of what mgtow describes? A lot of MGTOW's are going to give you a straight NO here, but I'm going with a Yes. I've choosen to not seek personal relationships with women unless there is a clear benefit to me (I don't have sex, I jerk off). "Luckily" I can play the widower-card in social situations, although I don't feel particularly lucky about it. I think ther…

I'm not bothered by that, free education and very cheap healthcare works fine where I live. But that doesn't stop teens from carrying around soviet flags, whining about how people who work hard has more money. And them trying to suppress peoples right to free speech.

As an owner of a dakimakura, all I can say is that I agree with this 100%. I don't try and fuck it, I hug it and spoon with it while I sleep, as a sideway sleeper I find it very comfortable. And if I have guests, I can but a black cover over it and appear (almost) normal.

No I don't think that women and men could ever share the view of love. I don't even think humans are monogamy's (if we where, why would we need institutions to reinforce it?). The main difference (as I see it), it that women looks for a provider (wealthy, high status), while men looks for fertility (young, virginal). The problem today is that the institution punishes men, to the point where commitment isn't worth it. As for the view of Love, that's a tough on... What can I say, if I could've giv…

Rather than interesting, I think it's a bit endearing. I'm looking at this as a: Young naive girl, who wants to change the world. But at the same time, even though I can't really understand the terrible things some people here have been through, I can at least empathize. What any MGTOW should do is try to get over the dislike for ~50% of the earths population (not productive), take out a piece of paper and think about where he wants to be in 6-12 month…
