Love this post. I disagreed with it at first, but changed my opinion after reading it to the end. It’s a nice subtle paradigm shift. The feeling of unease before an approach is, by definition, anxiety—perhaps even a mild case of social anxiety. OP’s point is that similar feelings can be experienced before a competition, or a presentation, or really when challenging anything with an uncertain outcome.
