What you see about a wife in social media and tv show what she should do is another piece of the trap . It is a pure illusion to make you feel responsible of her as it is her nature to cook for you and take care of you and if she doesn’t act that way it is your fault. business contract are rational. Each party wants a long term relationship based on trust and win win agreement. Even if the contract ends they try not to be an asshole most of the time for reputation concern. Of course some are nasty but never to a marriage contract. In a divorce there is annihilation, destruction, humiliation and you have to take the offense or you are a toxic male. I can't think of a worst kind of contract than marriage.

Mariage at the origin didn't have romance roots. IT was a way to keep things in family and having alliance with others. Sadly around the 19th century it starts to be a romance thing .
