Changed her character? Or were they like that deep down from the beginning but did not show it? In general, men are logical thinkers, and women act on emotion. Men take a single task and work on it. Women compartmentalize things and can work on many things a little at a time. (im talking generalizations here). When a woman is not 'happy', she searches and searches for the reason and guess what, the conclusion is it must be her husband (of course!).

Women communicate way more than men about things. She starts telling her friends and family about her unhappiness. God forbit she say anything to the husband. Her friends say things like 'you deserve better' etc. Girls trips, gilrls nights out, more gym, and male co-workers enter the picture. She is testing the market. She starts getting messages from dudes on social media. She starts her exit plan. Her husband still has no idea. He may think things are rough, but it will pass. He made a marriage commitment and is willing to hang in there. She is furious now. How could her husband make her feel this way (unhappy)? He is 'emotionally abusing' me, he 'works all the time', etc.

She finally suggests separation/divorce from the 'horrible man'. She is talking to one to many dudes and has a landing spot. The man freaks out. He had no idea. Earlier, i mentioned men work on a single task....this is it. He is hell bound to 'fix' the marriage. He begs, pleads, makes changes, makes promises, etc. She loses further respect for him....why? He 'knew' (because we can mind read) i was unhappy, and it's too little too late. You are now the bad guy in her story. She cheated? Lol. Your fault. She's unhappy? Your faulr. There is no accountability from her at all. I could go on but tired of typing... my fault. Lol. I'm not a woman hater but a realist and men's advocate. Have a great weekend bros!

It seems the cloudy affair fog causes this shit female behavior often. I call it emotional attack dog. I have at least 5 friends who have gone through this with a WW, an emotional dogfight cloud in the downfall of their marriages.

One guy went so far as to video record the wife and her bad verbal behavior, and then went over to visit her parents and shared the whole story. He just wanted to share the truth before she started lying about things. As it turns out, she tried to paint her husband as an abuser to her parents. they called her out for lying saying they had seen her videos from her husband. He was justified in his actions. Protect yourself at all costs.

Women are capable of being just as emotionally cruel as we are, if not crueler given that they must biologically compensate for a lack of physical strength. She is now your enemy and is unleashing that cruelty.

Look up the "Women are Wonderful Effect" - this is why your perception has suddenly been shattered. She was always capable of (emotional) violence, she just hid it better.

Women unconditionally love their children, thats it. Her love for you is completely conditional on you meeting the criteria set forth that is often a moving target and typically communicated in cryptic signals that most of us with don’t take seriously or completely miss.

Men are capable of being just as bad although it seems that men are far more likely to stay in a “bad” relationship because we tend to honor our commitments more. With that said there are plenty of women staying in bad marriages for a variety of reasons.

Look up BPD as well.

In all forms of BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) there is a “splitting” phase at the end where the person literally rewrites the entire relationship history to fit their current emotion. Kind and wonderful things become manipulative or abusive. It’s a mental protective measure.

Many of those with BPD just seem to flip like a switch from love to total hatred. This is the “discard” stage. There is a great forum on Reddit called BPDlovedones that can shed more light on this subject.

Women do this kind of stuff all the time. My ex could have a friend she was real "close" to for a few years and then something could happen and they would hate each other for the rest of eternity. I always figured that was just a woman on woman quirk, but sure enough it works on husbands too.

I honestly think hormonal changes in the mid 30s - late 40s play a huge factor. It’s also well known that even stopping / starting birth control changes the type of guy women are attracted to. Biological hormones change drastically around this time in their lives.

Btw, this is the best case scenario, because it has a medical explanation.

Other cases are just related to the woman having found another branch to monkey on.

I feel you on this one a thousand percent. My now ex-wife is such a pachelent child now and she was the whore that cheated on me as well as called it quits on our marriage. I have given her the car and 75 % of our belongings and am just two weeks away from moving away from the state we moved to to be closer to her family. Sadly we ended up having to live with her family and she chose to talk to her girlfriend from our old state every day for hours on end and let her poison my once loving wife. I now hate her with so much hate I am not sure what to do with it now. She turned on me when I asked her to get her own phone plan and gave her a week to do so and she never did. So I turned it off when I went to pay my bills to make it cheaper for me. She was lucky I didn't turn it off right when she confirmed my suspension she was a cheating whore. She is really mad and says I got her family and her room in their house and we will not let her get her things to move to her new apartment. Her dad has tried to stay neutral and will not let her married boyfriend come on his property so she can't move her stuff on her own. I will not help her in any way. I have been packing my own belongings by myself and moving them out to the garage by myself. I just need one more paycheck and I can pay for the U-Haul truck and be on my way back to my home state. I just am not sure what to do with all the anger I have for her at the moment. She came to take the bed and as for her pile of shit is not allowed on the property she couldn't do it by herself. So she took her plants that I have been watering to keep them alive. Then tried to argue with me over some fucking cup that I took out of a box. She is getting the rest of everything. I am only taking my stuff that I had before us and my collectables she already said I could take. We are in the south so I know cheating is very frowned upon here. So a judge would take my side but I will be out of state in two weeks. She will have to forge my signature on the cars paper work if she wants to take me off the title even though I was going to take myself off of it two days before I left.

It seems pretty obvious to me that women have been damaged by feminism and social justice. They're more free than they ever have been and they initiate most of the divorce.

Why was my grandmother who never worked and raised kids happier than my wife who literally had all the choices and freedom that I ever had and more? Why aren't men walking away from marriages more?

Men go from happy, free with disposalable income to needing permission to go out for a beer with our mates every few months, yet we are the ones who stick marriage out. What gives?

There is a say that goes like: love and hate lives together. Its not a woman thing, humans are like that. Once the love IS gone, It is replaced by hate. And we start doing shit. My ex made really did shit things to me, but I also did things that she may describe as terrible. Thats How we are.
