All of those things are bad, true or not. But they are not relevant to this sub. But seriously, touch some grass. Your whole posting history is this shit. You either work for Iran or you just spend way too much time threating over things you can't control. Reddit brains. Yours and mine both.

This isn't a men's issue. It's a "War is Bad" or "rape is bad" issue. Nor is anyone particularly bothered I think by Hamas being 'majority male'. War is a male preoccupation. It being a male only pre-occupation is worthy of discussion. The point of this sub is for men to unite over men's issues. You're just going to get a whole heap of varied views being spouted on a topic like this. Literally every other sub talks about Israel/Palestine. Don't bring this soft war stuff here.

Feminists have convinced society that they are all truthful, level-headed, mature individuals, while us men are barely potty trained. It's pretty gross and the second you push back in the real world you get cancelled. As a man who's been through a divorce in the last few years you end up faced with this situation: "If I leave this relationship where I can never do anything right I'll be labelled as a coward, and shunned by my family, but if she does it she'll be called stunning and brave and get…

That's fine. i just wish they'd stop bitching about it as if it's harder than doing 20 hour days on an oilrig. I swear one of the main factors that lead to my divorce was me insisting on splitting our part-time arrangements to look after our son at home 1 day a week each. She bitched constantly about how hard it was to be a SAHM but fought bitterly to avoid going back to work.

An acquaintance of mine got divorced recently and I'd always thought his wife was very pleasant and got on well with her. But when she left him she created an event of Facebook and called it the "freedom party" which I was invited to. It was fucking gross and all these women on the invite were like "You go girl!" Now don't get me wrong, if you're unhappy and you don't think you can't fix it then by all means leave, but why be so fucking offensive and gross about it?

These banshees are a tiny minority of attention seekers on social media platforms that no-one uses. Stop worrying about what these oxygen thieves post and focus more on policy and trends.

Not much. I got divorced about 3 years ago and I just have no inclination to get into another relationship. The sex isn't even worth it. If you need it that bad you just pay someone and it's cheaper than being in a relationship anyway. My time is too valuable to me to spend on inlaws, going to markets, apple picking, whatever other painful stuff women drain weekends with.

Well said. I often say to people hand wringing over these things: "Australian women today are the safest demographic of humans to have ever existed" It leaves people shellshocked and it's irrefutable.

Gross. I already regret voting for this fucking clown. He's such a Canberra populist. He just gets on whatever the masses think here, which is often deranged and then bangs on about that. He was very against the new donation laws which basically stop people like him spending millions on their campaigns (and the Teals who are conservative-lite with millionaire backers). The problem is that you could point out how obviously flawed this bullshit is here with data, but you just become a pariah, so m…

God.... my ex-wife used to bang on about this all the time ............ while lying in bed 50% of the time eating chocolate/cheese. Since being divorced I'm doing as much of the 'mental load' stuff relating to the kids as she is and it's no big deal. If anything my life got substantially easier.

It's based on the assumption that all men are conservative while all women are liberal. It's also why they say the pro-life movement is "men controlling women's bodies". Total bullshit obviously, but what isn't coming from the mouth of progressives?

Mike Johnson can fuck right off. The reason men retreat into videogames is because society has been structured in a way where engaging with it isn't worth it. Change that and men will likely spend much more time offline.

Most normal people exist outside the cesspool which is gross lefty social media. Most people I know aren't on any of them except Facebook for kids pics, marketplace and messenger. Very few men are going to put up with their wives/partners having this mentality deranged view of the world and I suspect most women who espouse it are unlikely to ever get laid anyway.

The whole, not identifying as heterosexual is hilarious because the loons have made up a million sexualities that are just heterosexual with more words. Want to feel all warm, fuzzy and progressive? You're just pansexual and are in love with someone's spirit and not their body............ As long as they work in finance are 6'5" have a trust fund and blue eyes.

I totally understand why divorce laws were so anti-women for so long, because the way they are in more modern times just leaves them with too many easy outs. in the 1950s a divorce was extremely taxing on women and as a result they were way less common. While I'm not suggesting that you should ever be forced to live with someone you hate or who abuses you, you should be absolutely be prepared to accept a much lower standard of living if you leave a relationship and you never bought that much to …

I was in a relationship for 11 years. While it ending hurt like hell, the amount of freedom I've got is next level. I've realized that I'm unlikely to find an ex-Victoria's Secret model who is a home body who likes to cook, clean, suck dick and get out of the way when I want to play video games. Anything beyond that towards realism just isn't worth the effort.

This all started when the right started trying to out virtue the left. Remember that Cuties movie? I swear that's where it started. No-one used to care about this sort of stuff. In the 80/90s this was totally normal.

It's hard to tell what's going on with casualty numbers in that War. It was statistically proven a few months in that the numbers provided by Hamas were bullshit but I haven't paid much attention since them. One thing to note though is that a radicalized 15-17y/o with an AK is considered a child.

My ex-wife was a solid 8 but she was never satisfied with anything. If I ever got back with another woman it would be a 5-6 who is just happy to be in a relationship and doesn't need to go on an overseas holiday twice a year.

My ex-wife hated it. It was largely because after getting all my chores done during the week, she would always leave hers to the weekend and she'd see me relaxing while she was doing laundry, etc. I'm so glad we ended it. I've never felt more free than I do now.

I've been wondering about this for a while. Did any of the sports leagues see any benefit from getting rid of cheerleaders for instance? Do women go more because they're not there? I've gotten to the point with movies now where I just turn it off when I figure out the action protagonist is a woman. I wouldn't have done that 20 years ago. I do now because someone somewhere made the decision to do that not because it's done well, but because it's not a white man, and somehow better as a result. I …

And men always defer to them. https://stevemoxon.co.uk/the-sexual-divide/ This is a massive problem and men have to stop doing it. All my married friends need to ask their wives permission to do anything, while the wives just do what they want. The amount of arguments I've had with men about issues (political and social) where you can just tell they're reading from their wife's memo on the subject to maximise their chances of getting laid is frankly astonishing. I don't get how the solution to these issues is always just consume less rather than breed less. If we stop immigrating millions from the 3rd world into the first world and just stabilize our populations then we could afford to live in big houses, drive cars and eat steak. But seemingly that's a laughable position and we should all want to live in dog boxes while eating protein paste, walk everywhere and give corporations all our income in subscriptions so we don't have to 'own' anything. Although I'd say having sex in the first place is a choice. It's a choice for both parties, but only one has control over the consequences. Men should absolutely have the right to bail out of the financial burden of fatherhood at the cost of an abortion. Whether she chooses to have one is up to her.

The way it works in Australia is bullshit. It compares your incomes, looks at the time you have the kids for and does some calculation and determines that you have to pay her money per week. Where it's bullshit is that it doesn't care about expenses and just assumes that a womans new partner (which they will all have in 6 months of ending a relationship) has no financial interest in her kids. So while you earn 20k more than her, all your expenses are doubled, and she has a second income in the h…

Going into town, to catch up with his few remaining male friends, was out of the question. Since getting divorced I've noticed that this is the status quo for most of my married male friends. Their wives can do whatever the fuck they want while they need to plan a day out with the boys a month in advance and will often have to cancel at the last minute because "She had a bad day at work" or some other bullshit. I don't like the 'protect the men from this gross behavior' take. We don't care. There isn't a man alive who would just hate for every woman out there to know that he's hung. It feels like pearly clutching because they do it to us when we objectify them. What I do think we need is for the expected behaviour to be the same for both men and women. The stuff said on them could be considered libel. It's not just your dating prospects but women you work with who may have some decision-making role in whether you are promoted or even continue employment. Women lie ALL THE TIME about their former boyfriends-partners, but they also currently suffer from that insane 'believe all women' nonsense as if women are generally incapable of lying.

It's ironic that Facebook is all over closing male groups down that do things like rate women's appearances (which is not great), or that teach men how to get laid, but these unhinged cat-lady groups are total ok, where scorned women can destroy a mans reputation without him ever knowing or having done anything except rejecting her. I've known since I was a kid... I don't want kids. It has never changed. It will never change. Having a kid would be devastating financially and emotionally. And that's great for you. you're not everybody, and plenty of people's opinions change as they grow older. Infact almost everybody's do. That aside. It's not like having kids is unavoidable without having the snip and you'd be mental to not use condoms in any relationship that wasn't long-term anyway.

I think the current divorce model is the problem. Cheating should have consequences and splits should be based solely on financial inputs, but factor in the kids, to a certain extent. Women would see staying at home as a privilege that needs to be earned and would have to weigh up the consequences of divorce meaning they need to support themselves. If they don't want to risk it, then they can build a career. Let's face it. No-one can afford to stay home these days anyway.

It seems pretty obvious to me that women have been damaged by feminism and social justice. They're more free than they ever have been and they initiate most of the divorce. Why was my grandmother who never worked and raised kids happier than my wife who literally had all the choices and freedom that I ever had and more? Why aren't men walking away from marriages more? Men go from happy, free with disposalable income to needing permission to go out for a beer with our mates every few months, yet …

What I do is I compartmentalize women into 2 different groups. Group A) Women as friends and co-workers and I try to give them as much respect as I would any man. I'm not emotionally or financially invested in them so I don't have much to win or lose from those relationships. Group B) Women as Girlfriends and wives. I treat them all as double agents from the feminist brigade until they prove otherwise. None will ever prove to me that they are wife material.

Whenever I see this: " Lots of therapy and trauma related discovery on my end." I just think what are therapists doing to us? What does this mean? Does it mean that you forgot you went to Nam or something? I'm not judging you specifically, but I see this all the time. From women it's "I discovered he was raping me and I didn't even know and never felt that way previously" Therapists just seem like charlatans damaging society to me.

"A) women on average do more chores than men. This isn't fair to women in most circumstances (exceptions for part time work or SAHM's)" Or they earn significantly less by virtue of the value of their work. I think this is touted as fact more than it actually being fact by feminists that read some stats from the 80s. In my experience, women wear blinkers when it comes to effort at home, often discounting work like maintenance, yardwork, gutter cleaning, etc as not work at all and then go "OMG, I'…

Pretty much. I should have filed a couple of years before my marriage fell apart for this reason. The only other thing she can bring is to pay half the bills which doesn't amount to much if she generates 80% of them.

Alimony is the problem. There's something that irks me about a woman being able to decide she doesn't want you, but she'll happily still take your money and the government agrees. Sorry, what?! No, you wanted out of the relationship, pay your own way. The way feminists talk about it is being financially trapped in a relationship. They're not. It's because feminism has taught women to expect much different life outcomes now than they were up until about the 1980s. Before that it was basically desirable to get a good husband, have kids, raise them and just live a simple life. All the women in their circles would encourage this and basically having a solid family, security, a home was basically all that we required. Ironically, men are still taught this, which is why we seem to have polar opposite feelings about happiness and fulfilment…

I feel horrible for even thinking it (This is like Louie CK's "Of couse, but maybe?" bit), but I sometimes think there's something about their nature on an evolutionary level that makes them do what they do. This isn't really the case anymore, and divorce laws, governments and feminism have just made that nature much more easily come to the surface. It makes me think that the reason that Isla…

When she asks you for a divorce the story will be "I've been telling you for years that you need to change and I'm so tired of it" which is completely narcissistic because they don't seem to understand that it takes 2 to tango. Even child support up to 18 is weird. If I have to pay for my teenager, and she can't afford it, then they should come live with me, unless you've agreed to it otherwise. Kids don't need their mother in that nurturing sense much past say 12-13. That's where it should stop. Then you should only really be expected to chip in for education costs, healthcare, etc.

Those stats have only been that way for a relatively short period of time. I'd say marriage doesn't really work in today's Western Culture. I told mine to figure it out for herself. However, she cheated on me and acted horribly for the 4 months leading up to that point, so it was fair enough. I think if she had the courage to tell me it needed fixing, genuinely tried to fix it and then nutted up and wanted to separate before finding someone else to sleep with, I may have helped her.

Have you seen society these days? Everything is a man's fault. I was lucky in a way that my family saw through her bullshit. They had actually secretly hated her for years for the things she did. But literally everyone on her side just accepted her walking out of her marriage and not one of them called me to wish me luck or anything. I know if I had of done to her what she did to me I would have had a lot of people tapping me on the shoulder.

"This whole thing left such a sour taste that I do not want to deal with someone ever again." Me too. It's been about 15 months since my wife threw our life away and the thought of another woman in my life is nauseating. It may pass, either way you're better off.

The whole unfair pre-nup thing is ridiculous. I know they often get struck down but if she didn't like the terms then, she shouldn't have signed it. If you really want to get married (don't), then speak to an attorney and see what a realistic defendable pre-nup looks like. It's probably something like 50/50 assets/kids, no alimony, child support, whatever the state thinks based on whether 50/50 isn't feasible for custody. You can probably shift the split one way or the other based on your curren…

What's the woke reason for not wanting children? Is it about having a career or about the environment? If it's the latter, then the easy argument is basically, "for every child you don't have someone in China is having 3". If it's the former, women generally grow into wanting to have kids by 30. Their rational mind usually doesn't win that fight. Just takes time.

Mine also had depression. When we met she was on a cocktail of pills but seemed to have it under control mostly. The endless sex blinded me to it initially, but there were warning signs even when we were dating. If I'm dating a woman and she starts to cry about something not that important I'm fucking out. Not doing that shit again.

You're not alone. Unfortunately, I think most women are built like this. Wait until you start looking at dating profiles. Every one of them is into hiking, travel, eating out, is single with kids. Gee, I wonder why they're single? What that profile says to me are the 2 worst traits a woman can have: Money and time sink. Yep, they turfed the 'old boring reliable guy' and are looking for adventure. I kind of think this is why the Muslim world suppresses women. I always thought it was just a contro…

The way you see the additional duration is anecdotal. One person's toxic relationship is another person's relationship that needs work. If the relationship is bad enough that you can't fix it, then staying due to comfort is a pretty weak excuse. If the status quo was that you were not just entitled to half a man's stuff because you got bored and your life isn't "The Vampire Diaries", then people would probably make better decisions about who they marry in the first place. Being a stay at home mu…

The only thing that I don't understand is why you keep referring to your actions as mistakes. The whole point of her actions were to make you feel bad and to blame and so she could justify her own actions. You should be glad you got out. The issues are basically this: 1) Feminism has convinced women that they don't need men. This was obvious for quite a long time. What feminism doesn't tell them is that it likely won't make them happy. 2) The courts make it too easy to leave. They can just walk out the door and take 70% of your stuff with them. The less they contributed through the marriage the more they seem to get. 3) There is no pressure on women to maintain their relationships anymore. I think this has changed. I think in th…

This was exactly the behavior my ex exhibited when she started cheating. It's so obvious in hindsight. I wish I had been more assertive with mine when the sex dried up. Once a month is pretty typical for long-term relationships. It's not great, but it's not unusual. You will likely find someone much more into it initially but the shine always wears off. When I met my ex-wife the first couple of years was almost daily (multiple times a day in the first few months). Have you told her that you're not happy? One thing that I resent to this day from my ex is that she never said "look, if things don't change I'm going to leave" I kind of think everybody deserves that before a divorce. I'm Australian so I can't really off much advice. America sounds awful for divorce. It seems much more equitable here where separation outcomes are based on inputs and needs. Unfortunately, even here lazy wives are protected as well. My ex worked, but spent most of our relationship self-destructing and not capable of much outside her job. Good work. Sounds like you've done the hard yards by recognising that getting out is going to be better for you. Does the other wife know? If not keep it in your back pocket. Could be good for leverage, or just revenge to let her know. 150%. My EX was converted by the cult of social justice online. I think she's already having regrets as she's got about a 1/4 out of leaving of what she was convinced she'd get. Red flags are when they start using the terms gaslighting and mansplaining. As soon as that starts GTFO unless your like the 1% who perhaps are actually controlling.

As an Australian I find it hard to give advice because our system seems different to that of other countries. However, if it was the same I'd say that you sound like the wife in this relationship. That's not a bad thing, society is always telling us that men should be comfortable being primary carers. It's just unfortunate that women didn't get the memo, even if they claim that they read it. I know exactly how you feel. Unfortunately, what you want will likely never happen and my advice would be to just rip the bandaid off. There is an epidemic of women leaving men in the west because society has made it very easy for them to do it.
