Divorce with kids is crippling, A death sentence to men. This 1000 percent, for all the guys out there that will tell you that they've got one of the good ones, I'll show you 100 hundred men here that said those same words and wound up financially crippled not seeing there own children grow up because that "sweet girl" they fell in love with, fell out of "love" with them (aka found some new dick). | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/12/23 05:50 PM
If you cant pay alimony for months due to job situation..Have to disagree with this one. Not paying alimony that is included in a divorce decree would put you in contempt of court. Civil contempt of court is often more harsh than criminal contempt of court in that one can be incarcerated indefinitely until the court thinks you've satisfied your end of the decree. I was held in contempt for not dividing my 401k up in a timely matter and can confirm that jail time is a possibility although not often used. I was one of the unlucky. The best course of act… | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/08/23 12:54 AM
What was the hardest thing for you to deal with in the divorce process? No, according to a family court judge you are her employer. | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/07/23 08:51 AM
I have been divorced over 13 years and have moved on to live a happy life. What am I still doing here?Thank you for your continued support. This subreddit may have been the only thing that kept me sane. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/07/23 06:09 AM
I’m dating a walk away wife 😬- what do I do?This!! Have fun by all means, but when the thrill is gone, she'll go with it. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/07/23 10:01 PM

Just dawned on me!!!I get what you're sayin brother I wasn't necessarily trying to be offensive, dude could have been cool as hell. I guess I've been in denial about the superficiality of the female attraction. We've been groomed since boyhood to be the provider and the man's man to catch the eye of the delicate female. My point was just to say as a man who was married to a woman I would have bet my life on, I would go to the grave with, literally 3 months before she walked. EVERY female relationship will be transa… | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/07/23 10:41 PM

Just dawned on me!!!Agreed, but I think we as men (not saying everyone) spend a large portion of our lives striving to attract a female that views ANY male as disposable. Maybe it's always been this way, maybe not. Women are way too valued in our modern era, not saying there aren't a few that deserve their due diligence but women at large have been wired from a young age to expected to be revered, hell I'm probably guilty of instilling that mindset in my daughter's. Can't remember the reddit user on this sub, but h… | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/07/23 10:58 PM
How did they awake this superpower ?A good portion of women love themselves unconditionally. That's not even debatable. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/07/23 04:08 AM
ex wife compiled a 10 page list of everything remotely close to bad i've done since 2020.This guy gets it. My ex tried the same stuff. The judge doesn't care and has LITERALLY heard every grievance under the sun as far as exes go. As long as you're no harm to your kids, the rest is moot. Let the courts put that bitch in her place if that's where she wants to take it. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/06/23 09:30 PM
Is marriage that bad?16 years here too, 6 months before she walked I would have bet all I had we would stay together forever. Like most of you, I put up with the unimaginable and in the end I bent until finally she broke. Have 4 amazing daughters out of the marriage, and as sick as it may seem, I'll be warning any males in the future that want to marry my girls. Marriage is not for this generation!!! | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/06/23 03:38 PM
To the men who have it all, why do you risk it?Haha. Literally the first response every man that came across this post had. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/04/23 02:01 PM
Just want to get laid...Dammit!!! | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/04/23 08:17 PM
Just want to get laid...Is it true if you don't use it, you lose it? | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/04/23 07:44 PM
Oh God Help Me? Please? Some solid advice from the guys here. On the bright side the fact you have that regret shows your only human but your moral compass is still in tact. Many of our exes did what you did and worse and never thought twice about it. This too shall pass man!!! | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/23 10:16 PM
Hoe ti deal with the guilt?OP I'm a few months shy of 2 years post divorce with a similar relationship time wise as you. I'm just now to the point I can drop my girls off and see her and feel like I'm losing my desire for her. Hang in there bud. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/23 03:39 AM
What music did you listen to during your divorce?Staind - Fade Had it on repeat for the better part of 2 months. | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/03/23 02:02 AM
How did you guys deal with the guilt in regards to your kids financial support?I'm going to assume divorce was her idea based on your descriptions of her. The reply above is spot on, don't assume because she has the ovaries she deserves ANYTHING from you. Every piece of advice given on this subreddit was achieved through blood sweat or tears. It took me almost two years to realize that. Treat her like an enemy!!!! | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/03/23 05:36 PM
It’s official, there’s someone elseTo be fair though, all second marriages have a divorce rate of over sixty percent. If remarriage is something any divorced person is considering. You have to known the odds are heavily against you, especially of you're a male. Women are trying to upgrade, they will see you as that greener grass. When you can't deliver, they always move on!!! | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/03/23 12:08 AM
As a woman who finds herself dating a lot of divorced men, what should I ask to gauge if he is in a healthy place mentally for dating post divorce? What should I watch out for?My man summed life up in 3 paragraphs!!! | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/03/23 02:28 AM
As a woman who finds herself dating a lot of divorced men, what should I ask to gauge if he is in a healthy place mentally for dating post divorce? What should I watch out for?If he hasnt.. still run | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/03/23 02:27 AM
I'm pretty sure my STBX is seeing another womanJudges care nothing about infidelity. Neaely 100 percent of the time when a female leaves a marriage she's got another man lined up. Almost everyone on this subreddit can attest to that. Fight for what's yours in the divorce and let her go jump from man to man. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/03/23 01:03 AM
[TX] Looking for 50/50 custody or 100This!!! Can confirm through experience. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/03/23 11:56 AM
Posting Here Simply to Hear What Others Think and VentMan that's a long read. I'm going to make my reply short. That last paragraph specifically the last sentence or two hit home with me. My situation was much like yours. It may not feel like it but this IS your time to be a man. Show your daughter it's not okay to treat anyone the way her mother treats you, let alone her future spouse. Your daughter watching her mom disrespect her dad is in a way it's own trauma. She'll adapt and be happy, you'll move on to a better version of yourself guaranteed.… | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/03/23 05:55 AM
How bad is this? She's grasping at straws man. Sounds like you're a good father and she's just weaponizing the children to get all she can through the divorce. They all do it. Buy them kids a damn milkshake. I know it's easier said than done but 10 bucks aint going to make or break you in a legal battle. The kids didnt ask for this and you're still making memories that will go on long after the bullshit is over. | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/03/23 07:06 PM
Merry ChristmasDamn man, I feel for you and them girls. As a father of girls myself and about two years out, make no mistake, those girls will figure her out and your bond with them will be even stronger. Be the bigger person tomorrow and let that B$*@ and the in-laws wallow in their own misery. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/12/22 12:41 AM
"I need you to relax and let us do our job."Been there my man. Easier said than done but, that's a response I would actually appreciate from a lawyer. Most of the family lawyers I interviewed, be it only 4 of them. I found all 4 to be brutally honest. I was fight for 50/50 on four girls in Georgia, a not so friendly 50/50 state. 2 of the lawyers told me I was fighting a losing battle. The other 2 said it would be an uphill battle as a father trying to raise 4 girls half the time. Most of them know what their up against. If they aren't pan… | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/12/22 11:43 PM
How many you have come to the realization that…Might be the best comment I've ever read on Reddit. Thank you for this!!! | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/11/22 03:47 AM
