You can be MGTOW after a divorce sure. And you can be red pilled on the ramifications of divorce and do you best to reduce them, of course. But you cannot be MGTOW and married at the same time.

"We" aren't doing anything. MGTOW is your own philosophy.

Yeah, but he has said that if he wasn't married, he would've already been moved into the cabin full time and that he would be content with that life. The only reason he isn't moved in already is because of his family obligations. He's a badass though.

Even though this didn't get many upvotes (not that it matters). I just want to say that this was an excellent post and I would read more if you have more to share. Cheers.

You're objectively wrong. Definition of popular is: liked or admired by many people or by a particular person or group Having a million followers on YouTube is a perfect example for popularity. He's gained over 150,000 subs in the past month and over 5 million views. That's just the videos he puts out. He's also doing sell out talks across the world. Jordan Peterson pulls in massive amounts of views with each video. All you have to do to see his popularity is go to one of these videos, and look …

I know why I'm here. MGTOW has no political agenda outside of each individuals own. There may be overlaps, or correlations between men here, but overall it seems to me most men here just want to be left alone. Is that political?

I can see why people are drawn to it. I personally don't subscribe to it, I eat lots of meat. I guess I haven't seen any scientific facts that show it as a viable lifestyle. It seems to me that most vegan diets are high carbs / sugars from fruit etc.

This is an interesting idea! I would be keen to do something like this.

I see what you're getting at, you're not the only one who has had these thoughts. Thing is, that almost any lifestyle is viable for MGTOW. If you want to complain about women on the internet, then go ahead. If you want to not use the internet ever again and devote your time to your work, then that's also okay. You want to go off-grid and live a completely monastic life, devoting yourself to deep thought, more power to you. I still must say that marriage and cohabitation is not compatible with MG…

That doesn't make MGTOW's agenda "the abject eradication of third wave feminism". That's yours, and is part of your philosophy.

I dropped out of University after 1 1/2 years as I wasn't learning anything and it was just a money sink. I currently work as a design engineer using CAD software. I also practice welding on the shop floor when I feel like it. If you can be disciplined with your job and money, you should be able to do very well. Minimalism and a spartan lifestyle are key.

You've moved onto to something completely different. This is a common argument used against antinatalism. I don't "ask" for anything. We're arguing wether I owe my parents anything for having me, which is absolutely not. Don't get me wrong, I love my parents, but that has nothing to do with "owing" the person who birthed you resources. I am alive, I thoroughly enjoy my life, I work and contribute to society just like everyone else. Just because I believe I owe nothing to those who birthed me, do…

I'm not a fan of having subreddits for every single thing. I'm sure if you posted advice or questions that you need help with then we will reply. I find that often you must seek out the advice for the specific questions you have in life. And it can be hard to wade through the muck to find it.

Thanks for posting this story. This is one of the few things that actually makes me mad, drugging young boys and forcing them into becoming mindless drones. I despise it. I'm glad you overcame that, keep on killing it bro!

We both know that's incorrect, this is a generalisation based on having interacted with the men on this sub, not a "shared goal". I presume you're not going to argue the actual points stated above from your response, so thanks for the debate, catch yah later dude.

Look, the post above is trash I agree. But your comment here has no purpose other than to bolster yourself up. You said yourself, you only made this reply for the response you would get. Please turn your attention somewhere else. Congrats on your qualifications, I hope they serve you well in life.

Thanks for you post. If you have any more thoughts, please share them. It's hard to realise that this is how dating is nowadays. I used to be such a simp when it came to that sort of stuff. You're obviously waking up to the facts. Don't worry about some of the comments poking fun at you, just make sure to take the necessary precautions in your relationship to look after yourself.

Obviously the individual came first. You're just overthinking this. There is no group, only an idea. MGTOW is an idea that is moulded to the individual. All we're doing here is sharing our personal versions of the idea.

Well, what I do is just say that I'm not interested in relationships as the risks aren't worth it Or that I value my personal freedom over anything else Or I just say "Eh, it's not for me" - if you're laid back enough they may just move on. If you give people the right social queues that this isn't something interesting to talk about, then those conversations can be avoided. Remember not to elaborate on it further yourself. I know this philosophy can be exciting and make you want to share the id…

I have 3 younger sisters, I'm 21. The eldest one I have cut complete contact with. The other two are okay but I already know how they will turn out. You just have to go your own way and not worry about them too much. But do not - by any means lend them money (Or any family for that matter).

Then don't stay in a relationship for that long or don't live with your partner. Simple. You're just trying to justify having a long term relationship to yourself and others.

I agree partly with "Men create and achieve to get laid." but it's not the entire case. There are many men out there pursuing things for reasons other than their sexual drive.

I sleep on a deluxe double hand made futon. It's the best mattress I've ever slept on. My back is so much better. I also got a simple minimalist base. Both can be packed up and fit into the back of my hatchback. I can pickup and leave my living situation really easily. So much better than a typical bed & mattress.

I agree with many here. Fighting back isn't going to solve anything without massive force. We're too small for that currently. Besides, going your own way is ultimately the best way to induce change, allowing those with other ideals to understand how much we're worth to society. I agree with DangZagnut, I'm not oppressed, I'm extremely lucky to be in the position I am in. Does that mean I should bow down and give up what I have for others? No way. I don't like people pretending they're "oppresse…

Dude, by changing yourself, you are changing the world. Even if you don't care. The direction of society is dictated by the individual.

Okay, I think you've moved away from sex into relationships. All relationships require effort - there isn't a relationship without effort, even in non-sexual relationships. There is no "right girl". I used to share your perspective, but it just isn't based in fact. Biologically, women mate with whoever seems to be at the top of the hierarchy, the problem is that that hierarchy is constantly shifting. You may be the one she is set on currently, but eventually another man who's better will come al…

Agreed MGTOW is the best financial decision. Planning on retiring at 35/40 on around 600k with a 3% withdrawal rate. Also looking at a rental property or two, to spread my portfolio.

You're addressing this sub like we are interested in relationships or marriage. It's obvious to me that you're hiding being a blue pilled simp behind the "alpha male" tag. This is MGTOW, not TRP. This information is not needed here. Copy and paste this somewhere else.

I think you're missing the fact that if you get into a relationship you'll have less time for your friends also. So you'll have even less time to spend with them and they will have less to spend with you. That's a lose lose.

21 years old here. Parents divorced when I was a teen, mum called dad and broke it off while he was overseas - couldn't even do it to his face. She proceeded to make his life hell for the next 7 or so years. She eventually got a massive sum of money from him and his business. One sided relationships all throughout high school, real life examples of false rape accusations at my school and trying to trap young men with pregnancies that never existed. I plan on being very wealthy, and I don't plan …

That was very eloquently written. I am experiencing the exact same thing, it seems like your post could have come straight from my experience also. I just try to work towards my goals and keep myself busy learning new things and playing video games. I guess I would say, find what you enjoy enough to take your mind of the pointlessness of life, that's how I get through it. Cheers.
