I've been thinking about this a lot lately, and I think a lot of we MGTOW might actually get it backwards.

It isn't any act of nature, or biology, for anybody (least of all women) to find something like a portfolio sexy as such, or even an instagram pic of some chad with his six pack on a yacht in Monte Carlo. All a portfolio is are numbers that have no visceral, animal appeal. They have intellectual appeal, however, and they can only ever be possibly sexually stimulating if the woman uses her mind to construct an abstract fantasy using her imagination to supersede her libido as it would naturally play out. Same thing with the instagram photo. The only reason a woman can fall into obsession over that is if she shuts down her natural, evolutionarily-derived libido based on sense in favor of a technological, imaginary libido based on an induced fantasy.

Because we're the only species, as far as I know, who get turned on by "resources, status, future perspective, etc." as if they were naturally occurring phenomena. Dogs don't do this. No animals do this. Some higher apes and birds do something that appears like this, but not to the extent we do. The male bird who brings twigs to the nest doesn't get 'friendzoned' in favor of the eagle. The female monkey who gets a few raisins from a male monkey doesn't make convoluted excuses about how he wasn't an "authentic" nice monkey, because all he wanted was sex, and not what was "best for her," which is (obviously) to fuck chadmonkey, who doesn't need to give her raisins. But human females have their desires so wrapped up in abstract fantasy and intellectual self-justifications, there's nothing truly "natural" left.

No, these things really don't make sense from an evolutionary perspective. They make sense from a technical perspective, perhaps an economic perspective, or a civilizational perspective. But "cost/benefit analyses" are a relatively new and unique way of measuring attraction; one even wonders if they, actually, stifle more natural attraction than facilitate it.

From the perspective of the state of nature, things like portfolios, education, future outlook, trends, and so forth are about as unnatural as it gets. What you have in nature is raw sense data: smells, sights, sounds, cues. And it is from these data that the truly natural libido is stimulated.

This is why women fall for men which they (rationally speaking) ought to have no reason for fucking. Because the desire is operating on a level which it was designed, over hundreds of thousands of years, to operate on.
