Thing with anime and manga is that these kinds of stuff goes both ways. I don't consider this necessarily discriminatory. Heck, not too long ago, shield hero came out and depicted the hero being a victim of false rape allegation. To me, these kinds of stuff is just artistic and creative freedom, it's only when it's happening blatantly one sided like in Hollywood, it becomes a problem

This is why I hate the term toxic masculinity. This technically comes under that umbrella but it's also just blaming men for men's problems. Domestic abuse can go both ways, and some people just refuse to see that for whatever reason

The main reason why false accusations are rarely reported is because it rarely gets to the stage where the accusation is proven to be false.
