It is worse to me when they say that and then say "not all men, and if you aren't the type women fear it isn't about you and you shouldn't be upset about it." They appeal to an inverse no true scotsman fallacy to try to make their male audience accept the misandry while at the same time implying that if I'm upset about it I'm either too stupid to see the "nuance" or I'm the problem.	/r/MensRights	12/06/24 08:25 PM

2	How do you cope with the power feminism has over western society? My ex was a feminist. She brought those views into our relationship and I am still unpacking the damage she did from that. I'm also seeing the man v bear talking point take root in some circles around me, including a supposed "men's group" that is supposed to be for men to open up and share and get support. 1	What is your story? What got you into men's rights? I used to be a massive supporter of feminism. I am not now. I do not hate women. I support them. I wish they would do the same. Let's tell our stories. I have been through a lot in my life. I was raped at the age of 2.5 (yes boys can be raped), I was sexually harassed and abused at the age of 7, I was circumcised against my will, and I have done decades of personal work including therapy when I am able, growing my emotional awareness and intelligence, understanding psychology and trauma.
