My grandparents, especially my grandmother, did this to my father when my mom divorced him for being abusive. They also helped my mom and helped raise us, my maternal grandma was a terrible parent and my paternal grandma became like the mother figure my mom always wanted. Grandma passed away in 2010 from cancer and I miss her all the time and am so thankful for her.

A lot of men complain that makeup is "false advertising" when I notice all my friends look just as pretty without makeup as with it on, if anything it helps them look more polished but that's it, I wouldn't consider any of them ugly without it by far. Yet that is a common thing men say Take a guy's nice, groomed beard off however.....

I thought this too but then I met my new guy and I can't get enough of him! He's not a "Chad" like TRP thinks women only go after, but he has great hygiene & perfect teeth, grooms himself & dresses nice. On top of that he's a sweetheart & has provider mentality. My sex drive for someone else has never been higher, I can't keep my hands off him. Having sex with ugly smelly broke scrotes on their floor mattress takes away the beautiful experience in an orgasm lol

This reminds me of another post I saw, on an article where someone was voted the "most beautiful female face of 2020" and a comment by a man named Richard below was, "she is attractive, but not as beautiful as my wife, who is 66 and just getting her pension"

Whenever a male says shit about Megan Thee Stallion or Cardi or whatever, I ask him since he listens to male rappers is he gay? Because he'll happily listen to a guy rap about his dick and sex life but he's grossed out about women rapping about theirs. "Sounds pretty gay to me." They get so flustered bc internalized homophobia.

I honestly believe that feminists have done as much as we can on our part. The rest of getting to true equality/equity is on men to speak up for us and actively work to change things. And I don't think they ever will. If marriage & birth rates fell I genuinely believe they would rather enslave us then treat us as true equals. The future seems very bleak, I hope I'm wrong.

What's funny is I prefer big dicks and tall men but my fiancé is 6 inches and 5'8". 🤷🏻‍♀️ Preferences aren't always deal breakers. But the scrotes can't comprehend that and take everything as a personal attack. Funny they will scream "no body shaming" when it comes to dick size but won't hesitate to say a woman's boobs are too small or she's too fat etc to her face or behind her back

Ideally I'm sure many women nowadays would love to be a "traditional wife." Absolutely no sex before marriage, expensive ring (at least 4 months salary worth) when you propose, and be sure to do that within at least 2 years or so because other equally qualified men will be courting her too. Pay for a house or build one yourself from scratch, pay for all the bills and childcare and everything and allot her money from your salary for her savings and makeup/clothes/skincare/haircare/nails etc to up…

He says he likes it when I wear whatever is comfy because it makes him happy that I can feel comfortable around him. :) Sometimes I wear coordinated lounge wear in case I need to run errands during the day, I also feel better about myself doing this sometimes (it's like making your bed in the morning, just gives me the good brain feelings). Most of the time I just wear pj/sweat pants and a graphic tee or tank top. I find most underwear uncomfortable so I don't really wear it unless I'm going out…

Oh my goshh this is so sweet!! I'm into costuming and renaissance faires, a lot of people have found it weird but my dude has sewn pieces into my wigs, made a whole lighting setup for me to get good photos of my costumes, helped find new events going on in the area, gone out to eat with me after events while I'm in a full on medieval elf costume, etc. It's so nice compared to my other partners who just seemed embarrassed of it. If it makes you feel hopeful my fiancé doesn't mind that the whole house is pink (and other pastels) lol. He gets his office/work space to decorate how he pleases but says the pink and "happy colors" make the house look more lively and cheerful. :) He's even been surprising me with new pastel stuff to replace the old things. I believe there's a lot of women here who are still in relationships with LVM for a multitude of reasons, or act somewhat differently than what is preached, or disagree with some parts of the handbook. None of us are perfect or share the exact same values and patriarchy is a big battle we've all been fighting since birth. What's important is that we're all here and learning, and have this resource and community to fall back on. We are better united. You are trying to change against a system that…

I had a friend (not anymore because it wasn't healthy to keep her around in my life) who's LVM would drop her off at the restaurant she worked, then he drove to see his ex, and bought gifts for her with her money. Then he'd leave, pick her up, when they got home she'd hand him her money from working and get to cleaning the house and making dinner for them. I think it's more of a symptom of male entitlement than a cause, or maybe one feeds into the other and vice versa. Either way it's a lie. Two times I've ever had men ask me if they could kiss me (one being my current fiancé) and when they did it made me melt inside. It was incredibly romantic for me.

There was one thread on fb arguing that men should be able to not pay child support by "completely signing off their rights as a parent and not be involved" (nevermind the fact they can and have done that for centuries) and I just. My loser ex (surprise, also age gap) bought a $100 meaningful gift for "just a friend." To be fair they WERE childhood friends so I let it slide. Then one day I found out he texting her flirting, calling her the one that got away, and laughing at how I felt "threatened" by their friendship (fyi I'd only brought it up once). I don't support prostitution but come on. Why are we blaming exploited women for the actions of men? A lot of these men would and do cheat on their wives/gf's whether they pay for it or not. Most sex workers (the ones who need to support their kids or pay their bills) do not have the luxury to turn down clients or regulars who are otherwise safe to service (who will simply run to another prostitute anyways), they need the money more than they need to police another man's morals. Also why are we …

I can't watch the video right now but womens beauty standards is just what is the most unattainable, if you think about it. Back before grocery stores and supermarkets, when we had to hunt & gather & treat our own food, being full figured was the beauty standard. Even if you are horribly sick/injured, unless you are literally unconscious and unable to make that decision yourself, you are given informed consent & allowed to deny the procedure. They literally live by Bro Code so valiantly that they are willing to plug their ears in to support a system where their mothers, sisters, daughters, partners, have to live in a world that endangers us every single day. 3 women dead by their partners a day, every woman is sexually harassed or assaulted at some point in their lives, but they will defend rapist bros they don't even know over their own family. This is so catty and counterproductive. For most people makeup is a hobby lol. It's not that deep. I mostly do it for cosplay, theatre, renaissance faires & play around with unconventional looks, I also go bare faced outside 90% of the time so your point of me doing it just to follow trends or do it for men is invalid. I don't do makeup for the male gaze. While I am aware that it CAN be done for that reason (& nobody should have to), & I acknowledge that, I do it for me, to raise my own confidence, and because it's a form of self expression. I am not spending hundreds on limited edition makeup (I collect) & nice products just for men (most of which nowadays don't like it anyways). It's literally painting, just on your face. On Tiktok, you can use other people's sound (which is labelled in the app), and when you tap the sound, it takes you to the original creator's video. The problem isn't that men have mental health issues, it's that they don't get help for it & don't want to. Or use it as an excuse to hurt others around them. I've dated women with mental illness that genuinely tried to be the best they could despite it & were still empathetic of others. They are intentionally choosing to be this way. My mom used to say life is 20% what happens to you and 80% how you handle it. A good person is still good & will try to be so, despite their mental illness.

If there's one thing I do appreciate about men, it's that they are extremely vocal & uncompromising about their boundaries & desires. Maybe this is due to their entitlement & how they were raised, but it's still true. If he wants you, you will know. If he wants something, you will know. There's no point in trying to guess if a man wants you or not. "If he wanted to, he would." I've started to take notes & be the same way. Also dating a LVM comes with FAR more dangers than dating a LVW. People like to conveniently forget that most women who die from homicide, die by their (ex) boyfriend/husband's hand. Men rape, harass, and assault the most. Women CAN have behaviors like these, but generally it's not something I have to worry about with them

This. Making prostitution completely illegal just pushes the industry further underground leading to more women harmed and unable to get help. They get pimped out/assaulted and can't call the police for help or they get arrested. (i'm not saying Backpage should still be up, that site was a cesspool as other commenters wrote) How they should do it is make it legal to provide but illegal to purchase. So only the john gets prosecuted, and if the sex worker gets hurt or needs help, she has access to…

I don't support the adult industry as a whole, (you can read my thoughts about it in my previous posts) I'm disabled and need to make a living. On most days where pain in my body flares up so bad I can't get out of bed, it was between adult industry (where I can choose when to work or not that day and work once a month and still make rent) or homelessness/poverty. Being in this industry only cemented my thoughts on the importance of following FDS. (Not only how men are, but that women have a lon…

I'm leftist af. Believe me I WISH we could live in a world where men would appreciate what we do & sexism wasn't real. That's a big issue with liberal feminism. As progressive as you want to be, there's only so much you can do against millions of years of sexual dimorphism evolution & statistics being the same for years & years time & time again. As a woman, once you realize how most men actually are & how they see things, you realize it's best to protect yourself. Someone made a really good pos…

I met my now fiancé almost 3 years ago, and we moved in together after a month. We're getting married this year (was supposed to be last year but CoVid happened and we want a decent sized family event), and he is amazing in every way, but looking back it was stupid and no way in hell would I recommend it to any woman nor repeat it, saying I lucked out would be an understatement.

If I had a daughter, there is only so much I can do to protect her in a world where 1 in 6 women are raped. Yup. Think about it. All the earliest religions worshipped women or women-looking deities. For our ability to create, grow, and bear life. /r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/01/21 11:52 AM

So it started as a word for the "neckbeard nice guys" who are desperate, insecure losers. But it evolved to mean any man who treats a woman with basic respect or courts her properly. It has different meanings depending on who's using it, I'm guessing your sister is using it in the context of the OP meme
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/01/21 11:51 AM

I'm not condoning the use of the word at all, in fact, I despise it alongside many other terms like thot, gold digger etc. I just thought that status that was posted was cool because; when IS that word used? Scrotes who call other men "simps" are the ones who are treating her girlfriends like shit as described. The original poster was pointing that out, "simp" nowadays just means a man with basic respect for women.

In their "fantasy" worlds it is always only the women who are raped, enslaved, degraded, and seen as beneath men because that is a man's fantasy world. Same reason why they are mostly white actors and if there's any POC or black roles, it's for the nonhuman, usually "lesser" and also enslaved races like elves. Poc and black people do not exist in a white man's perfect "fantasy" world.

It's probably a weird sexual dominance thing. They see sex as conquests. I also saw that a common reason for men to circumcise their sons is so their penis looks like theirs. Not joking whatsoever. https://www.unconsentingmedia.org/ I thought I would share this here. It's a mass collection of movies, tv shows and books that will warn you if there's sexual assault, rape, incest etc in it. You can search by any title and they are ranked green, yellow or red by severity, and a checklist and short descriptions of graphic scenes. The statistics are pretty depressing. But I hope it is of use to someone here.

People justify these types of age gaps relationships all the time because "it worked out for me!" or "well my (close family member or friend) met at 17 and 23 and they're doing amazing!" Thing is, it doesn't matter if it "worked out." There's PLENTY of stories where it DIDN'T work out and the girl ended up groomed, abused, and harmed. The power imbalance and difference in life experience makes it inherently predatory.

Men like this would never hire an escort. It literally goes against their ideals. It hurts their ego if they don't feel like they "earnt it" (aka coerced, pressured, manipulated or threatened her into sexual compliance). Instead they are focused on getting laid for as cheaply and easily as possible.

Honestly, for most women, why bother?? We want to be loved unconditionally without having to put our guard down. But it seems men aren't capable of that. You have to train them like dogs or children that you won't accept bad behavior, and it never ends.

That's totally valid. Sperm donors don't earn much $$ themselves (I think only like $1k a month at maximum and that's pretty much just side hustle money) and must pass vigorous testing. They also need a college education. I love walk dates with my SO but we also go somewhere nice like a beach and we'll have lunch/dinner or wine at the end. lol On top of pathetic for a first date they're also dangerous. Walking or hiking with a stranger for a first date?? lol I'm not trying to be assaulted, raped or killed. Hard pass

They think it is so much money 😭 The makeup products on my face cost way more than $50!! If I want to eat nice food I'll pay for it myself and then I can enjoy it without having to pretend to like a needy ass annoying man lol What actually happens is; they go on date, woman decides it's not going to work out for xyz reason (red flags or she's just not into him, all which is valid), texts him afterwards to thank him and let him know, and since men are so entitled to sex & can't bear the thought o…

So glad my current partner isn't into it. I was beat as a young child and I don't remember it but I can't even wear necklaces because they are such a huge trigger. I remember friends in school trying to poke my neck and laughing because I'd start freaking out & hyperventilating. Even looking at this image makes me get that cringe recoil feeling because of the object around his neck, and I can't even watch movies where they choke or cut people's necks in a scene. One partner tried it with me and …

Ohhh sis they will judge us by our covers no matter what. My best friend dresses like the 1950s (hairstyles, makeup, jewelry and everything it's too cute) and she attracts LMV hitting on her who thinks she has 50s values too and just want a meek, submissive bangmaid. (Surprise, she's leftist, feminist and a lesbian) Men are so ridiculous especially when they have absolutely nothing to offer, lol

They did a survey on it, I can't for the life of me find it right now but I'll come back and edit this comment if I do. They surveyed a bunch of adult women asking when they first noticed grown men were sexualizing them (inappropriate comments, touching, catcalling etc) and the average answer was 10 or 11 with the youngest age on the survey being 6 or 7. Yeah my mom did that too. Still does. I stopped by her house on my way to the airport (vacation pre-Covid) and she told me to change my clothes…

Same here. I'm happily engaged, I love this sub because it's the ONLY place where we can call out men on their bs. Even through memes, holding men accountable for their actions is a controversial opinion in every other discussion forum I guess

Like someone here said before. If someone gets attacked by a dog, they may develop a fear of jumpy dogs or loud barking. They may feel unease around dogs, and may warm up to friendly ones- but would likely never own a dog themselves, and people are understanding. Women get used, abused, manipulated, lied to, harassed, stalked, assaulted, raped and killed by men EVERY DAY. Every single day. Girls notice that grown ass men start seeing them in a sexual light from when we're as young as 7 years old…

Yes, on top of this, drink plenty of water! I also do a face mask a day or two before a big event or just once a week to treat myself, has my skin glowing. Doesn't have to be anything expensive, I like the $1 masks from Kbeauty brands, and the $10 clay mask off Amazon.

All I gotta say this is why I love FDS's teachings. Being with a LVM doesn't just affect you at that point, it effects everyone around you and especially your offspring. I'm STILL dealing with trauma dealt from my abusive deadbeat dad and I likely will for the rest of my life. Breeding with LVM is guaranteeing generational curses, abuse and trauma to continue. If a woman has her future kids' best interests at heart she absolutely should be extremely picky with who she chooses to procreate with.

I'm a stripper. Sadly this type of gaslighting isn't uncommon. "Deadbeat bf who doesn't work and lives out of his stripper gf's pocket" is a tale as old as time. The trope is so damn common, there's at least one at every club. Sadly you can't help, engaging with them just leeches off your energy so I don't bother. It doesn't matter if you quit dancing for them either, usually they won't even offer to pay your bills/expenses for you to quit for them, and they'll still use "you used to strip" agai…

Honestly.... I'd abort. If I wanted a baby that badly to raise on my own, I could adopt or get a sperm donor, without having to deal with a crazy narcissist and go into custody battles whilst trying to raise a whole ass baby on my own. This is why I say, stop putting the blame entirely on women. We know sex work wouldn't exist in a perfect world, but since we DO live in a patriarchal hellscape I'm at least glad I have stripping to support myself with. Blame the system & gender who oppresses and objectifies us so much they created this market, not the singular woman who is using Onlyfans to just try to pay her bills and feed her kids.

The 50s wasn't perfect by any means but I do have to give the baby boomers credit on this one. The man would always pay for the date and if the woman even brought up the idea of splitting the bill he'd be embarrassed

Homophobia also starts to make a lot more sense when you realize that gay men are hated because they suck/take dick and that's what women do and society hates women. (Same with homophobes hating "flamboyant" gay men or ask why gay men have to act any differently than straight men) Why do you think even in ancient Greece and Rome, it was totally fine to be gay and was even encouraged, so long as you were a top and not on the "receiving" end?

I actually saw something the other day - the gender pay gap is closing in terms of companies paying men vs women similar rates, however women are still paid less because of domestic duties they must tend to at home, hurts their work performance and many drop their careers altogether once the kids start coming

Stripper here, I have heard of a few dancers that ended up marrying customers and it worked out (they were usually the ones who spent thousands in VIP and were respectful of boundaries) but most of us have a "don't date customers" policy for exactly the reasons you stated. I also agree pimping is a huge trope in this industry, "deadbeat bf who doesn't work and lives out of his stripper gf's pocket" is a tale as old as time, although ANY man can do that and not club customers. He starts daydreaming calling her beautiful, smart, sensible, calling her a jackpot etc. Then they sit down to eat & she says "guess who's going to the game!" and pulls out tickets.

My fiance makes just above minimum wage and STILL pays for every date, pays 90% of the bills, surprises me with flowers or stuffed animals or some other small gift weekly, saves up for big gifts "just because" or for special occasions, is incredibly supportive with everything I do, etc etc. A poor man can still be a provider if he works hard & wants to be. We don't even use them for dinner, what actually happens is, it didn't work out and they felt entitled to sex/can't handle rejection so they squawk "sHe UsEd Me FoR a FrEe MeAl." Not realizing that dating (and thus paying for dates) is part of the courting process and just because you pay doesn't mean we owe you shit. It's even more of a joke when they think women are just going around "using" them for a $25, $50 or even $100 meal. They think it is so much money. 😂 The makeup on my face I wore t…

Lol yeah someone just dm'd me crying because he's not a doctor and can't afford fancy dinner dates and shopping sprees. There are literally PLENTY of women in the dating pool right now who are happy to go 50/50 on dates, accept McDonald's or going out for walks as a date etc. But instead of going out to find one he's in my dm's whining about the ones he can't have 😂

I definitely agree, but idk if it's been 5 months and he's not at least TRYING to relieve some of that burden, that's a red flag to me. When I was out of work for 3 months (this was before CoVid, but I was sick) my HVM took care of everything but also hustled on the side so we'd still have some extra spending money. Also, is he helping with cooking, cleaning, errands, kids too, or just sitting around? No way in hell would I work just to come home and cook/clean every day if I had a SO who wasn't…

This is literally a big reason why I'm a stripper. I get no treated differently at a strip club than when I was a waitress. Actually at the club, at least I can walk away from a major asshole customer or have him kicked out, instead of having to smile through it & continue to take their order. They are all that narcissistic & think the same. Might as well use it to my advantage and make a 6 figure salary for it (compared to minimum wage or not much better at a customer service job).

You need to leave him hun. Men like that are only leeches and block your way to success. They are NEVER worth it, nor are they thankful for it in the end. They usually feel insecure you make more than them & wear you down for it. Usually, once you give your livelihood, energy and finances providing for them, and they're "built up," they leave you for someone who they can splurge and dote on, saying they're too good for you. Witnessed it firsthand with my former roommates. She has a son she aband…
