she had 12 dogs over my house every weekend so we never did anything. The dogs would give me panic attacks. Told her.... she just thought getting ones that didnt bark would make it better. It did not.... she was also crazy cheap(wouldn't give me presents on holidays or our special events), didn't want to work, wanted me to quit my Job and move abroad so we could be retired.... so all around toxic.

be happy she didn't give you a false domestic violence charge and keeping you away from the kids. I was like this at the start. I was like it's a misunderstanding and we can work it out. Both of us didn't communicate well... we can fix things. Then you talk to lawyers who tell you your reality and maybe you start to think of odd one offs that she did. Then will not really love her with all your heart any more. with you... more complicated you have two kids and she still like na... I'll take my c…

I am in the same boat since Monday. My criminal lawyer told me to get a divorce lawyer. The divorce lawyer says that the criminal case is easier because he can interview her and prove she is lying. I also won't have to wait the almost 2 months for my DV case at court. I am trying to be optimistic. At first I wanted to work it out but them both telling me my case is a clear Silver bullet divorce and reading how common it is on here is wild. She knew what she was doing and wants out. I accept that…

when I went to pick up my stuff she followed me around trying to talk and asked me to do certain things or for us to talk through one of my family members. I asked my divorce lawyer and he said NO ! She has to get her lawyer to ask him then I can do it. If not she can just say I did something out of spite

they falsely say you hit them and then they get you out of your home and have the advantage in the divorce

Jesus.... so the silver bullet thing is super common then ! Just happened to me on Monday. I went to pick up my stuff yesterday and the house was actually cleaner than normal. Nothing was broken yet....

are you in the US? How did you meet a 18 year old and marry them at 25? Hope it was an arranged marriage and you didn't date a teenager after graduating college. 2nd base? You have already cheated my guy. If your wife was in the park kissing some dude and giving him hand jobs. You wouldn't think she cheated because "nothing went in". Her not respecting you wanting to explore another woman is such a funny sentence. seems like your wife is super dependent on you. The no car/license thing would rea…

11 years is a long time to decide you are not attracted/have romantic feelings for someone. Also the most beautiful woman in the world is just average or plain once you wake up next to them every single day for months. Her not fighting you for stuff is wishful thinking. Does she want to keep the baby? Is she actually pregnant? if no real bad event has happened you both owe it to the baby to at least go get counseling and see if you can save it.

my cousin died fighting for like 6-7 years to see his daughter his ex would always take him to court for money but something always came up so he couldn't see his kid. Broke the guy, he finally got to hang out with her then he died a month later. I am so happy I don't have kids in this situation. It is really the only reason I stayed married because I wanted them. I just came to the realization she would be a terrible mother and I didnt want to put kids or myself in that situation

this is what I am dealing with now (day 5).... we have no kids but I can not be home because of the restraining order. I have 3 ring cameras and have documented the events of the day. I was actually working and have timed instant messages and emails I was sending while she said I abused her. The lawyer I used said it was a silver bullet divorce and I didn't know what it meant or that it was all that common. I thought it was all a misunderstanding until I heard the restraining order and the judge…
