I don’t think it’s true for most women with many options but the only women that DO like hookup culture (or try to) are the ones with options. Like I said many women with many options still didn’t like it. But you don’t meet any women who like hookup culture who have fewer options.

After ten years believe me you are attracted to others - it’s biology and science shows that after 3-4 years attraction develops into attachment

Mixed on this. Obviously no one should participate in being the other woman. But marriage is shown to make women more miserable than men.

Women have to sacrifice children and a relationship. Men do not.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/06/20 05:26 PM

Have you ever thought that it’s not just unconscious bias or them not realizing they’re promoting mini-me’s... but consciously choosing to promote men because it keeps the fun going for them? And then gaslighting us into thinking we just aren’t sacrificing enough or that our personalities are individually wrong ?

In order to have power in this economy and society, we need to be in leadership positions, but women in general are not rewarded for this. Men, as they move up, are rewarded romantically if they make more money and work more. They get a better caliber of "trophy wife" and so on. Women, we aren't rewarded like that. I know this industry isn't for me, and so I've taken to living in a cheaper neighborhood, and just saving every penny so I can escape the rate race that is unfortunately fixed against…

Just to add, and the worst part is, the people laid off are the ones who can least afford it. A lot of the white guys had no student loans, still commuted from home in some wealthy town... I assume no one gave a shit that job security is important to some people.

I truly cannot believe what i am reading because this is exactly what I saw at my firm (big 4). The boys joke around, talk about dates, do sports brackets, etc. and the partners eat it up (old men) who are reliving their youth. Then the boys are beloved. Meanwhile the girls are talking about what I consider more interesting things or not participating if it's about sports and then they're told they're not as team-friendly or they are too quiet. It is unbelievable. Who knew this was a thing? And …

You are 100% correct. I am white. I was on a team with half women and half men. The women all got 3s or 4s, (average and poor) even though they knew more and handled more work better than the guys. The women solved all the audit issues. The guys got 2s except the black guy who got a 4 and was then laid off. The women were told it wasn’t cause we were women but because we were “quieter” than the guys. All the talk was about sports or stupid things so none of us even wanted to chat ! The partners …

This can be read in two ways, and it's important to know that it was from her perspective. If I were with someone who was constantly unhappy with me and constantly complaining about me, I would also not be able to continue in the marriage. It is a way to force the other person to break up with you. The marriage wasn't working, obviously. People don't change, even with counseling. She was severely unhappy with him and he isn't going to be able to change at that age. I had to leave someone who con…

If he says someone else is good looking and she is I don’t think that’s a sign of disrespect personally. Same vice versa. We’ve been together for 17 years tho so it’s not a big deal to me lol.

I think it’s also bc women aren’t choosy enough at the beginning and at year 4 their blinders come off

It’s because sexual attraction wears off between 2-7 years

You mention you asked him if he wanted to stop this. He doesn’t bc he likes things how they are regardless of your feelings being hurt.

Sorry but maybe he’s actually looking for a long term relationship. He doesn’t owe you anything at this point especially since you told him you don’t want any commitment. It’s a rather understandable situation if he didn’t get back in contact.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/12/19 06:40 PM

Absolutely. We think that they approach us in good faith and looking for the same things as us. They aren’t.
