Trauma is passed via epigenetics not the genes directly but otherwise yes. The fact that your environment has direct influence on your kids behaviour (gene expression -phenotype) long after that environment is gone is kind of frightening and stupidly empowering at the same time.

If you fail at a task, the negativity is linked to that task and the skills required for it. This is how the negativity helped you. You had a clearly defined path to success, you just sucked at it. Trolling someone without providing a path to improvement is just negativity without a path to positivity. No benefit can come of it and it becomes a negative spiral, a race to the bottom. We (men in general) need more of this. But emotionally stunted pseudo-alphas (douches) will get shit like this removed because feelz. Grow a goddamned pair and realise feelz and alpha are not mutually exclusive. Its been shown that obeying a moral compass in all you do leads to significantly more long-term wellbeing. Paying attention to good vs bad is imperative for a healthy view of manhood. But what the fuck would I know, eh?

I can sympathise with the OP. I would love for everyone to be allowed to post but this place removes anything deemed to be "moralising" which is why there's so much adolescent drivel in here. One addition. If your reputation is important to you in your definition of success, make sure it is honest reputation, not false reputation gained by lying and cheating and generally being a douche. Because despite how it might feel for a fleeting moment, false reputation DOES NOT add to your success and will not nurture you.

Success in personal. Only you csn decide what success is for you. Reputation is how others view your success. Don't ever confuse the two. Confusing reputation for success is losing frame. Adhering to your own definition of success in the face of challenges is maintaining frame. Personal definition of success is inherently a moral decision. A division between good and bad on a personal level.

As a scientist I need to state the following: You're using "Theory" in the colloquial sense. As in an idea, an untested hypothesis. You know that ideas which pretty muich already HAVE been all but proven in science are called "Theory", right? So "Proving" a "Theory" would make no sense. Do you have enough critical thinking skiils to even get close to a proof? ARe you aware that correlation and causation are two distinct things?
