They should be offended by it because realistically the number of potential rapists is abysmally small. Men are killed at a rate higher than women, and if we can really measure the rape stats there will be an even more terrifying number, then there is the fact that around 70% of crimes are committed by some 0.3% of men or something and the rest would just be a tad bit more so the notion that "all men are potential rapists" is good advice is simply misandrist to a fault as it perpetuates fear and…

That's not how that works. We don't care about people's pasts if their actions cross a certain threshold. They do hate men because of their past experiences but so what? Do you think those men just woke up and suddenly chose to start abusing women? No, they were also traumatized by their own experiences but who cares? You only deserve sympathy as long as you don't project your pain into others, we're all victims here one way or the other but it's never an excuse to hate others. I thought you wer…

If you tell them that they will just say well not to that degree, they even coined a new term for it emotional dumping, but how much opening up is emotional dumping? Your guess is as good as mine I suppose.

Yeah exactly, this is where I'm at right now.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 07:52 PM

Who cares is of course a given. It's just a singular insignificant person in the grand scheme of things no one really cares what they do we're just discussing the general pattern that can be reflected in relationships as a whole through her. It's just fun I guess. She did say in a comment that she was tired of teaching men basic respect and empathy which is like, whaat?

Give me a hypothetical situation where you'd break up with someone over your definition of emotional labor.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 07:50 PM

To me it's a post, to you it's an unintentionally vague post.

Stupid Ass, I fucking Eat It thing to do?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 07:35 PM

I just wanted to start a discussion about people's different experiences regarding this whole topic. How is it intentionally vague, it seems more like unintentionally vague.

Hahahaha fuck this one is gold.

What's IMVU?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 05:10 PM

Do you think people get married to people whom they aren't certain of whether they will fuck them over? People are fickle, and emotions are even more so. The only constant is change.

A larger dating pool of hoes, no thanks.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 12:14 PM

No, that shit is weak. I'll do my best to change it to reach a healthier state but if nothing changes I'll bounce.

You're an optimist idealist then. Because as things stand if you do want to fight for human rights then feminism is a direct obstacle to that so confrontation is a natural course of action. Otherwise, you will just sit down and suffer injustices just because you fear people labeling you as a misogynist, which will make you what? A misandrist by default.

I don't really get the "cisgender" stuff. I mean sure if we're talking about trans issues then it makes sense in that context, but generally? No. Might as well say "white cisgender non-deaf non-blind non-autistic non-dwarfism non-colorblind non-disable, etc..." I mean if we're gonna bring up minorities in every case why not be inclusive and give love to everyone?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
