that’s an interesting way to look at it and something I’ve thought of too- if less liberal folks are having babies, the hardcore alt right types could generally take over.

ppl always say feminists are jealous of passport bros (idk maybe they are) but i think the funniest thought ive had is white conservative girls screaming racial slurs to try to impress men, only to get utterly cucked and mogged by an apolitical eastern/south american woman wonder if theyd cope by calling them “dei girlfriends” 🤣

thats fair, the trash taking itself out 🤣 streamlines dating!
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 06:24 PM

It’s kind of manipulative ngl
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 06:22 PM

thats really really weird, I am glad you cut her off.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 05:12 PM

why would people care about how big someones dick is either, do they want sex to be like a painful medical exam? bizarre world. and if someone is rude and nasty they are instantly unattractive to me so thats even weirder.

thats super weird, why would someone talk about that on a first date

i dont see it as liberating and empowering at all when women do it, or inherently bad when men do it. however, i find it hypocritical when people engage in it, have negative consequences from being deeply intimate with people they arent in a close trusted bond with, and then proceed to blame the “patriarchy” or “uhhh christian conservative prudes”, run back crying to committed people they rejected, suddenly decide they want a mid life crisis baby after years of sleeping around, pathologize and s…

that’s a good point. I find it mind boggling too. I am pro moms being able to work, but I cannot imagine myself as an autistic person putting my hypothetical child in a full time daycare for 2000 a month all so me and hypothetical spouse can be exhausted and barely pay for the apartment we’re raising the child in. I don’t do hookups but I am celibate for that reason.

i do think people want better lives then they grew up with or seen. I didnt grow up poor but ive cared for children of low income families when working for a subsidized childcare program and I saw what they went through firsthand. I don’t do hookups and I am volcel until I can afford to be a full time stay at home mother and own a house in a safe low crime area to raise children in with good schools.

ive never used one but it kind of sounds like the mcdonaldsization of dating

I know people have always hooked up, and there definitely are plenty of people who are not interested in settling down. But I do think there is kind of a unique nihilism with my generation, with the shit economy we were handed as adults, AI, a rise in antinatalism and lack of interest in kids, introversion and being glued to addictive devices, etc.

At least here in CA in a major city, most people I know are living with whoever they can. Parents, aunts, uncles, their sister and her husband, roommates, etc.

You’re right, it probably is different in other states with differing COL and job markets. Thank you for bringing that into perspective for me. It’s probably why dating is extremely different in a place like the midwest as well. Maybe that’s why people seem to also get married more in those states.

I agree. I don’t think anyone’s bad for not wanting commitment, and I think it’s dumb when I see folks blaming men for their problems. I have never used a dating app as I find them pretty dystopian in concept. If I never find someone I plan to just continue living how I do now (playing Deltarune chapter 5 rn) and probably use a lot of my free time from not having kids to help others in need. I already volunteer and love it. Glad you found someone committed! I think that’s the best thing to do. N…

as I mentioned in another comment, a lot of folks my age are making minimum wage/peanuts despite having good degrees due to a competitive job market, and are living at home with parents
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 07:14 PM

not a lot of people i know are making 73k a year, esp in my generation. I saw an entry level job for 40k a year, and it had hundreds of applications on LinkedIn. My friend got a business degree two years ago and still can’t find a good job.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 07:09 PM

I assume at least a good 50% or more of these people who want commitment also would see it as a package deal with marriage and babies. Granted, there are childfree DINK couples.

i swear rent is getting higher each year here even for dual income couples- but it also could be California’s more laid back liberal culture could be why hookups are so prominent here

studio/one bedroom apartments here alone are still insanely expensive even with two working adults

Sometimes even splitting an apartment with a partner can be more expensive than living at home. I’m 26 and living at home and so are tons of people I know who are even older than me.

Yeah online is extremely different than real life is something I have noticed. And I do agree that people have agency and both men and women should be responsible for those choices if I end up a forever alone cat lady I would refuse to hate or blame men, just myself
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 11:30 PM

Yeah, and I know a lot of people on here say you cant function mental health wise or survive without regular sex (casual or not) but I often wonder how much of it has to do with the fact porn, junk food, and other dopamine stimulation is kinda shoved in our face all the time
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 11:28 PM

EXACTLY. i lost my virginity because i felt pressured into it as well and I fell for the guy (he wanted to get it over with too) because he was autistic like me and liked video games, but he was mega introverted and didnt want a relationship or kids. Much regrets. I wish I wouldve waited.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 11:27 PM

Thank you for the balanced perspective. I assumed female forrest would recieve more accountability just cuz of the popularity of these stories of “women chasing after bad men and then saying where have all the good men gone”

ah interesting, hypergamy is different if it is a woman who is mentally ill enough basically?

dude you cant even spell Colombia right. do you know how many Colombians online hate that? “idc about your country or culture just suck my dick”

so he can complain about western women while simultaneously benefitting off their labor participation 🤣

OP, why are you not thinking about the men in these countries? If you think men having a hard time on dating apps is a problem here, you realize there’s going to be a lot of frustrated men in these countries right? esp if these women are all “rich tall circumcised pale american men only” You shouldn’t be worried about feminists preventing you from dating. Hell if you wanna be a passport bro I think it’s your right and none of my business. I think you should be worried about elliot roger copycats…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 06:12 PM
10

and people say feminists are jealous of passport bros, but i honestly see men from asian countries having huge meltdowns on their subreddits over their women dating american men. it wouldnt create a “feminist loneliness crisis” but it sure as hell would create a whole new crisis of male loneliness in other countries and shouts of “oxford study”. i mean is it not creating the same problem that OP is stating from dating apps but “Rich, pale skinned, circumcised, tall, and american only!!!!”
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 06:04 PM

Well if she would be told she shouldve picked better basically or stopped chasing promiscuous top 10% men
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 05:56 PM
4

Yeah that’s what I was trying to say, especially since a lot of users express frustration at women picking criminals or bum men and then getting sad about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 05:52 PM
1

this is devils advocate but people say stuff like “women would rather date a criminal than an autistic man” so i did wonder if people would feel frustration that the woman herself didnt pick an also disabled man.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 05:52 PM
2

someone also actually just accused me of trying to secretly defend jenny im very confused
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 05:47 PM
2

I’m more curious because a lot of folks on twitter for example say stuff like “women dont want autistic men” and stuff. So I want to make sure theres logical consistency because I wonder if female forrest gump would be considered hypergamous for not dating someone her own level
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 05:37 PM
2

true 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 06:26 AM

Yeah it kind of reminds me of the family guy sketch where hes like “okay jennay ill raise the aids baby”
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 06:24 AM
10

Good point, I assumed feminist types would probably go more on the “predatory man” angle of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 06:08 AM

im an autistic woman, and while ive noticed it heavily and felt excluded from neurotypical women my whole life- i think “gossip” serves i assume an evolutionary purpose for social bonding. and to be fair ive seen plenty of normie men do it as well. i think its probably a normie thing in general
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 11:11 PM

yeah and i dont like it. i think its selfish of them and they should either adopt or accept they wasted their time and move on.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 08:16 PM

Yeah I understand what you’re saying. I also think ideally, especially when dealing with a newborn, people should have some kind of partner. If I was a rich careerwoman I would adopt kids probably but no way in hell id do the whole newborn thing
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 07:29 PM

Yeah, I think it says a lot that OP would rather have a biological children from “legacy” purposes regardless of their own untreated mental health stuff. Absolutely, I can imagine these people see it like getting a puppy. And I am not doubting there is a male mental health crisis but I do not see how raising a child as a mentally unstable single parent could help with that
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 07:22 PM

“reproductive options allow men to secure their genetic legacy via solo fatherhood, completely bypassing the financial and emotional hazards of a volatile family court system.” So you can raise a daughter telling her “sorry you dont have a mom because i hate your gender and dont trust it” imagine the outcry if a misandrist feminist woman had a son alone as a single mom because she hated men. (and he grew up being subjected to her PPD post style rants.) also you don’t have kids for “legacy” purpo…

Well sometimes an FWB relationship sounds a lot like a bad momogamous relationship haha. Like to me getting to travel the world with someone, grow old with someone, raise kids with them, kissing, holding hands, and loving each other deeply is a benefit. Not someone giving me sex and mcdonalds until they find a woman they actually wanna do that for. 🤣 I would actually rather have bad sex with a lifelong partner than have the best orgasm of my life from someone who will throw me away. I get so emo…

You and others on this thread do make a good point that domestic violence in a relationship is often far worse than being heartbroken over a hookup, or just a heartbreak from a bad monogamous relationship. But I do think it is frustrating when people are pathologized nowadays so heavily for not liking casual sex, called religious or stuffy, or told to just have it anyways. Especially because looking at myself, the pain from a situationship not loving me back would be almost as bad as a breakup. …

As someone mentioned in another comment, frequently on Reddit people say sex basically is just an activity like tennis or something. But I see your point how you have different experiences than me. I think you have the right to do what you want. I have seen people sad over monogamous relationships yes, but those who are in monogamous relationships that /last/ seem far more happy and fulfilled to me than people who are telling me how they are begging for breadcrumbs of attention from their FWB wh…

That hookup tier guy could have a mental breakdown himself once she leaves.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 06:35 PM

Good point, I should have also focused on the men in this equation as well. I absolutely believe there are probably a lot of andrew tate types who want wife treatment from "plates", and develop the cryingscreamingthrowingup reaction. I think this is why my sex ed teacher many years ago in freshman year of high school warned us that sex creates drama.

In another comment I mentioned how avoiding an OCD thought reinforcement loop could help her a lot, and just accepting the feelings and letting them pass like a wave, without feeling pressured into pushing herself into casual sex.

Okay now I get what you’re saying, my apologies. But I also see the opposite where people say that relationships are “stuffy and patriarchal and religious” and even pathologize you if you dont like hookups, saying youre “clingy and anxiously attached”. While hookups are portrayed as more “liberated” “women taking control” and funny enough a lot of feminists out there actually feel casual sex is a psy op so men can get easy sex without having to take care of you or love you and can just throw you…

I think people are adults and can make whatever decision they’d like. But from my personal experiences as I’ve mentioned- it’s hard for at least 80% of people to seperate sex from love into two neat little buckets. Like when I hug a friend- I feel a lot of warm and fuzzies. And that’s not even as half as intimate as letting someone experience your body through sex. Oxytocin is released from sex (the same hormone that helps babies bond with mothers), and so I think it’s only natural to tell peopl…

It’s good you have self awareness, good on you man. I think one thing that’s helpful is to not dwell on the feelings- because similar to OCD it can create an obsessive feedback thought loop. Like just letting it pass like a wave. And acknowledging too that genital responses/hormonal arousal doesn’t necessarily mean you want something intellectually.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 06:18 AM

Exactly! People assume it can’t happen to men, but in your case it happened in the middle of Greece with a woman a lot of red pillers would consider “past her prime”. I feel casual hookups are very bad advice for people who already are mentally ill, neurodivergent, super romantic/sensitive, etc.

I kind of like the idea of a Buddhist tradwife. Cozy minimalist clothes, simple living, calm from meditating. Way better than a lot of the crazy MAGA Christian gals out there. Also if I’m not mistaken- a lot of Buddhist communities are nonphysicalist no?
