Wow, look at your hamster going at hyperspace speed. The oneitis in you is strong too, hence your frame is week/non-existent. You knew this will happen but postpone your decision therefore creating the mess you are in now. I am not going to tell you what to do, you should know if you were not living in her pants. Decide what you want and if you are happy with the sacrifices made and then take your decision.

Difficult to know, my view is that her libido with me will never be higher as when we starting seeing each other. The only other thing to do to find out is to carry on implementing dread, still a work in progress.

I think the stash of cash is what gave me morale boost. The early retirement plan is more of a plan B to have if thing don't work out career wise. For me breaking frame is very time you deviate from your plan. Diet is an ongoing battle for me. It took me a while not to be butthurt when having a hard no was another one. I appreciate the feedback but achievement depends on perspective; today's win could be tomorrow's defeat if you take your eye off the ball, it's a neverending journey so that's wh…

Thanks, one of the current financial podcasts I follow talks about compounding interest and how important is to better yourself 1% every day, then you get the exponential growth you desire.

Last Status was March the 14th, 2017. 185lb, 5ft 8'', early forties, weight lifting 3 times a week and 2 x day aerobic training, (sports, bike riding). Red light Approaching: I've given all the hamster reasoning to avoid this task, (small town, too busy, high profile role in my job). I have to work on it, no excuses. Yellow lights Diet: weight is stagnant but BF% has decreased to 17%. Still a long way on my target of 10% BF. I have started IF as I did well last year. To focus on discipline and t…

The time you realize you are angry and cannot do anything to get rid of it is time to hit the gym hard. Best workouts I've had is when I've been angry, regardless of why. Afterwards you usually feel calmer and often the best epiphanies come after tiring yourself out.

Yellow lights Diet: not red light because somehow, (mostly by being active), I'm keeping weight stagnant. Abs start to show on the sides but I'm still not progressing on my target of 10% BF. My relationship with food is unhealthy, it works as a drug. Main priority is to work out how to be more disciplined. Work: I have realised that I might be in the current jo…

Your story is not special, (very much like mine at the start of the MRP journey). Personally I don't think you need anyone but you. You have the lifting, (hopefully at least 4 times a week), you have the sidebar, (NMMNG, MLSLP and the rest), and you need hobbies/projects/adventures to develop yourself and the dread, (look for u/bluepillprofessor dread levels). Your initiative and your will to survive is the only thing you need. And remember: Be atractive Don't be unatractive If you feel stuck th…

Red lights Diet: I have not planned according to target and I did not planned ahead for upcoming events, (work away and a few weekends out). Focus on eating Keto should ease the planning required. Yellow lights Sex: frequency remains but is not enough. I've being more consistent on approach and I must carry on. Fitness: 1RM BP 175lb/ SQ 330lb / DL 330lb. I missed gym sessions last week, back today to do circuits and moderate lifting, (half of the usual weight). Diet: still struggling to get rid of the weight I put on while holiday. It has been one year since I started unplugging. I will take this opportunity to review my progress, (shit owned), hurdles, (shit still to own) and failures, (shit not owned). Shit I own: Family life: I am now calmed and upbeat most of the time. Kids are relaxed and listening more. Shit gets done and boundaries are well defined. Length: 11 months Dread level 5 7 years married, (12 together), went bad after having kids, slightly recovered after I found the RP. Sex is about weekly, but BJ have increased to about 2 a month. Lifting, good job, good relationship with kids, (overall I'm turning a corner). I delayed more active dread due to personal circumstances but planning to get on with it. I might have explained wrongly the interaction with the wife; I asked, she asked why, and I asserted that I shouldn't have to justify my request. I thought I passed this shit but let me know otherwise. The idea is to plan the date and don't tell her anything, (childminder is needed hence the plan).

Dear MRPers, I'd like to try a different approach today as I had a situation last Sunday that made me reassess my current situation on my unplugging. Background: unplugging since July/August last year. Lifting for over 18 months 3-4 times/week regularly. Read NMMNG, MSLP, MAP, GISNIFG, the power of habit, Bang, Day Bang and now reading how to win friends and influence people, (oh, and BPP book, definitively worth reading). When I started I was a BP crying for my wife's attention, (sex once/twice…

Sometimes the price you pay for moving up in your career is to alienate yourself by relocating every few years; I've moved 4 times in 12 years and among my peers I am the one with the best senior job as an employee. At the end of the day it's your choice but personally it's been worth it.

Morning gents, it's been a while as I've been busy working my shit out. Some pearls I found that I've focused on: Information is good but too much is as bad as too little. I have tried to focus on two books currently, (how to make friends and influence people and the power of habit). Focus on my improvement and not as much on external indicators, (such as my wife). The center must be your own performance in all relevant areas. Focus on today's targets, one day at a time; create a routine to exce…

After 10 months of unplugging my progress has been somehow stagnant, so it's time to review my MAP and get back to the basics: Gym: this has been the backbone of my progress; I'm regularly having 4 sessions a week plus two team sport sessions a week. Since I've started I've drop two sizes on pants. Shirts are feeling tight on my shoulders and I feel in better shape. The discipline of regular training keeps me sane and stress levels are lower on all areas. Family: I enjoy more the time with the k…

One thing I find very amusing is finding out lies in CVs from candidates: if you list in hobbies any sports I'll enquire for details. If you can't answer then this is a red flag for me, (why would you lie in something so silly and what else are you lying about?). Good examples of this if you specify reading as a hobby I'll ask for the last book you read, (I've had many of them staring blank at me). Another one I use regularly to gauge candidate's commitment to their proffesion, (only applicable …

I appreciate you taking the time to reply to my post. I am now close to my 40th birthday and I want to ensure it is not me having a midlife crisis... As per previous week I'm only reporting on areas to improve: Diet: spot on during weekdays but overindulging on weekends. This means my goal, (under 15% BF), will take longer. Counting calories with MFP seems to help. Plan day in advance to minimise unplanned eating. I can say that it does definitively. For me, even before starting unplugging, it has worked, (I'm a kind of expert in my area so it was easier to implement I guess). In regards managing women...the sooner you set the expectations and accountabilities the better. Some will try to use the emotional card when they are held accountable for their actions, (e.g. confronted), and they will cry, (I've have my share of them). Funnily enough I've found no problem to remain unattached and keep focus to add…

I heard my british boss mentioning the other day that his kids will have a tough awakening when they get to real live as they are on private school; I can tell you that the promoters of this ban are the upper classes and the health and safety paranoia stablished on these private schools. I can tell you that this will be as successful as banning bullfighting in Spain; some areas with enough SJWs will manage to ban it but the vast majority will continue as usual.

I feel in a similar status in my unplugging process but I have managed to avoid the main event so far, (after realising I should focus on being a better leader at home and make the whole thing enjoyable for me and hopefully for everyone at home in the long run). Thanks for your replay /u/bogeyd6, as always. I believe two circumstances are playing here, me being too self aware of failures, (playing down the wins), and a wife being oversensitive, (any serious teasing can put her in a foul mood even tears depending on her period time). Or who knows, maybe you are just a sad sack of shit and generally an unpleasant person. I don't get that vibe from you. I understand I've not been clear enough about what I was referring too; in this particular case I was more interested in how to deal with a wife who struggles with this: When I got home, chaos was waiting: dogs barking, baby crying, wife near tears. I noticed that I don't manage well if I miss the gym session, it figures :) Diet: Lost a couple of pounds and I look better, still at least another 8 pounds to lose before summer. Non diary diet or using lactase it's helping wonders for me. Snacking at night almost none …

YOU are the father and it is up to YOU to instill some self respect and appreciation for the innate power your daughters. Thanks for the comment, it's my intention to follow this path I started. I would post my own video about male suicide..... I was tempted to answer but I refrained to as I would have been showing my red pill cards, if you know what I mean... Working my MAP in the stealth mode seems to be working well and I don't want to ruin this.

We, as Fathers, should support and encourage our daughters to be smart, aware and feminine, and not solipsistic, indoctrinated and feminist. Thank you, your last paragraph summarises my motto to raise my girls.

Thanks for your comment. I have the same idea raising my girls. In addition I can only aspire to be the male role model that they will compare against.

Thank you for your input. As a captain I just wanted to ensure everything was in order, that was the reason of my enquiry.

Shit I don't own Work discipline: I'm currently not very productive at the project I am, I need to proactively address this as there are several factors involved, create a work plan and stick to it. Shit I'm starting to own Anger: I'm so much more calmed at home, kids and wife are responding well to it. I still need to work how to address change in mood from wife, (tired, sad, stressed,...). Working in AA, AM more. Diet: somehow I'm managing to get rid of the extra weight from Christmas. I accep…

Excellent post. Just one addition, answer all competency based questions as you already are in the role, not from your current position; I'm assessing your capability for a job you are not currrently doing so it's better if you can show me you are already thinking as you are in the job.

Basic Question 1: ”Are you a player?” Depending on the game you are proposing ;) Question 2: ”Yeah, I bet you say that to all the girls..” I bet you do use that line for every compliment you receive. Question 3: ”What’s the matter? You look so sad.” Make me smike then Question 4: How many girls have you slept with?” I am a light sleeper, I sleep on my own, thanks. Question 5: ”Are you seeing anyone else?” Why? are you the jelous type? Intermediate Question 6: ”Are you gay?” Why? are you into tha…

Not in a great mood this week, (I hope not to come as a victim puke though): SHIT I OWN Gym; lifting 4 x week, plus team sport once a week. Home: shit is in order due to my lead. Kids responding to this. SHIT I STARTING TO OWN OI; sex requests refused by wife, no deal, leave room and do something else. I presume I don't own this yet as I still expect her to notice this change in my behaviour. Diet:great last week, couple of pounds lost. Then last night I overate. Better consistency but some work…

I don't think so; I was in a maintenance diet of 2,800Cal a day but not really counting during the weekend which has made me gain about 5lb; I have now reduce my allowance to 2,400Cal a day and daily weight in to monitor success.

Good morning gents: shit I don't own Diet: A cheat day has become a weekend cheat. Cheat days are banned until further notice. DIY: A small number of repairs have crept up and needs doing. Setting up time this weekend for this purpose. Shit starting to own Leading at home: Shit gets done and keeping frame with kids and wife. Wife loses her frame with kids often so I need to support her and giving her clear expectations. Work: Productivity increased and issues raised to my bosses. Still need cons…

Thanks for the comment. I plan to raise visibility of my workload and the timelines, propose solutions, and then, depending on the outcome, make a move. Unfortunately I regret a decision I took to lead a project but quitting at this stage would be unwise, (it will close the door to further opportunities), so I must stop regretting this and focus on completing the task at hand.

I'm getting too fucking complacent, so here are my RP sins: Shit I don't own Diet. Since Halloween it's been downhill, totally unacceptable. Work. Currently hate it and I better do something about it. Shit starting to own Work chores. Visual improvement but needs consistency. Gym. Still going regularly but again, consistency needed. Shit I own Leadership at home. Being accountable and making my FO accountable. Sex. Taking the lead and shaking off hard nos. Quality has improve massively, and quan…

Good report, it reminded me of the shaming my wife gives me for my smelly farts, (time to change to non-milk based protein shakes I believe...); now on MRP mode I laugh hard and answer that this is my way of marking territory, (always fart on my own or the toilet out of respect btw).

Shit I don't own Diet could be better; I've cut down shit on diet but I still fail on occassions, (once/twice a week). My six pack will be showing next summer and that's the commitment I mad. Shit starting to own Giving no fucks when sex is refused; I do something else, (even if it's just going to the toilet and do some grooming). Hamster is being fed and I'm asked if "everything it's ok". I remain upbead and calm. I'm being more fun and positive with the kids and being the captain at home. Stre…

1.- Diet: summer has been too good and I've put back about half a stone; I wasn't too bothered as I was going to bulk for the next three months but I don't like what I'm currently seeing in the mirror so I'm back to counting calories, aiming at least to mantain weight for these three months and then cut. 2.- Holding frame: funnily enough it seems less of a problem with the wife but more of an issue with the kids. I want to focus on remain calm at all times and discipline them with no shouting or…

One agreement I have with my SO is that if she hates her job, (has happened a couple of times), she needs to look for another rather than quitting, (and it's usually easier to find a job while you are employed). That way the loss of income is minimised.

Thanks, I'll look it up. I'm already on a sports team but I'm on late 30s when all the guys there are early 20s; great fun but not great for mrp support.

It's no validation I was after but assurance I'm not being unreasonable with the wife; as I am working my MAP I rather give a benefit of the doubt to her at this point than rather take a stern approach and be sorry afterwards. Following this I am telling her to get to the doctor's this week. If medical issues are ruled out then I can move on with my MAP with no regrets.

Thanks for your reply, she has suffered in the past restless legs syndrome so I will remind her to mention this to the doctor.

Thanks, I am going to ask her to go to the doctors, because this, (and other conditions), might be the cause.

I have indeed. No increased benefit from this; she is a textbook example of MMSLP in regards of horniness Vs menstrual cycle, she will be likely to be receptive of my advances on day 8 to 14 but most of the time she is just tired.

Right, my shit as follows: It sucks being injured; I dislocated my elbow playing football and I cannot hit the gym at least for another two weeks. I'm riding my bike and going for jogs instead. Still in angry phase and it shows too much. To focus on holding my frame without raising my voice. I have to get better time management. I have not much time for the fixing/gardening/laundry/ironing during the week so I have to organise the weekends better for this purpose. With my weight down, (started t…

Hi, newby here so still getting my way around RP, so far: Back to lifting twice a week, (training cardio twice a week on my hobby too). I had to stop lifting due to an injury and even I'm still sore it feels great to be back to the gym. Started to count calories; I've lost around 15lb so far but another 6-8lb needed. I have a moratorium of 30 days on no initiating sex, it has been always me who did this and far too much rejection. I'm not prepared to tell her rather than asking so at least I sto…
