I know it is going to get bad during this divorce. She already has taken the discussion between us to only between the lawyers, no more direct discussion about the divorce because she cannot stay calm. Question still remains for the kids sake. What do I actually answer when they ask why I am suddenly sleeping in the guest bedroom?

So what do I actually answer them when they ask why I moved to the guest bedroom?

Nothing will change this. Been one a 5 year route. It's final.

Been hitting the gym hard. Been divorced in my mind more than a year and have a lot of peace about it. Thanks. Good advice. Problem is, there isn't agreement on future yet. I want 50/50, she refuses that and wants to grant me 80/20 or less. So there is going to be a battle. I am always calm and professional in front of the kids, have always been. She isn't and can't be. Part of the problem. So I need to tell them MY plan, and how I can be for them, can't speak for her. I will only move out of th…

Hahahahahahaha! That chocker comment cracked me up. Mostly because it is SO damn spot on true. The girls wearing chokers out are always the ones that are crazy as in borderline personality crazy.

Good advice. My main question comes down to that last part. How to truly find my own happiness without wanting love or company so much?

I had a prenup. It was obviously not comprehensive enough.

I am still learning the family law during my divorce court process and it is a fucking expensive learning experience.

Well, not exactly EVERY girl. Only nice ones that tick many of my boxes. But yeah, still too many. I have been in therapy in the past, but for different reasons, maybe starting again with this new focus would be good. Also busy reading a lot of books about understanding myself and growing.

That "no second dates" thing might just work well. So I do not even allow myself to text or call again after the first date ever.

I think this is probably a good thing for me to do too for a while. But damn, some nights alone at home, someone to talk to would be nice. How did you get used to your loneliness? Just focussing on goals?

She still can't let me go. Yet when we seriously talk about it. She denies she has any problems, and blames all her actions on my words said prior to the actions. She laughs when I ask her if any form of hurt is physical abuse and says "sorry, I didn't know I'm that strong that I can hurt a big guy like you" with super sarcastic voice.

She is on no medication for anything. Because she has never gone to anyone to diagnose.

That is a different and true way of looking at it

She says she does recognize that she has a problem and will get help. But I get the idea that that is just said to me, as she does not take action to do it.

Having a hard time knowing whether I will regret it or not.

Single moms and divorced women. What makes them so bad? I have met some that seem amazing.

Thank you. I am worried I regret it later. But I also know I will have more peace if I leave.

I read a LOT, especially recently. But I cannot discuss, just take in. I am worried I stay, and regret it later and resent myself for settling and wasting my life with a partner not worth me. Does that sound selfish. I guess so.

I hear that often. In principle I agree. I just have not seen it getting worse. But yeah.

Honestly. This hits hard. I have filed months ago, she is stretching out the process. I have reconsidered and wondered often if I am not going to regret it. Well. I also met a great woman, who (so far) is way more compatible with me, treats me with dignity and respect and has a very caring side.

Thanks. Just making sure, you are speaking about borderline personality disorder and not bipolar disorder?
/r/Divorce_Men03/08/23 11:24 AM

Nope. Borderline personality disorder.

Really? Is this the reality, that they have so much control? I mean, I can see it somewhat, as I still feel so guilty and bad for her, no matter how bad she treats me, her remorseful side and fun side makes me feel as if I am abandoning her. Is this really her manipulation power over me?
/r/Divorce_Men02/08/23 06:23 PM

Thank you. I often feel guilty for wanting to get out when she manipulates me and tells me how good we are and were and that we are each others loves of our lives and that I am throwing her and the kids away. But then another episode like that happens and it reminds me again how long I have had to deal with this and for how many years I have been unhappy.

I am trying to record more, but she knows that I want to so she is very vigilant of that. Unfortunately for this case, we do have kids, two boys 6 and 8. And I also feel that it isn't healthy for them to see this behaviour. Pastors do not work here, they believe no matter what, even through abuse, that divorce is never an option.

My sex with her now is incredible, literally more than I can ever want. So not sure how it can get better.

Problem is. Mine isn't, she is insanely good with it. All the best positions, lots of oral and more sex than I can even handle. So worried it gets much worse with someone else and I regret leaving this great sex life.

Been to counselling. Multiple times. Couples counselling was the biggest waste of money ever. She gaslighted the therapists and they believed all the lies, until I proved to them she lied about it all, so they are just people that can be influenced too. You can only fix problems, if a person can firstly acknowledge they have problems. So without that, all the pie in the sky counselling and marriage "work" will never change anything. Thanks for your advice, but your advice is not relevant at all.

So. I am 6'5", 240lbs with a very low bodyfat, been in a tv ad for my looks and my body. My entire marriage have had other women hit on me and throw themselves at me. I guarantee I can lift more and look better than 99.9% of the guys on here, and my dick is 7.5inches, I played professional rugby too. So will have NO issues pickup up chicks. So I am honest when I said my stbxw sex is amazing. I have done all you have said there with her, often, except for the butt or anal stuff. But she gives me …

See. This is my worry, because none of that is true in my case. My stbxw desires me so bad, daily. She grabs me, takes out my dick and gives me head whenever, then it progresses to intense sex where she orgasms at least once or twice everytime and I always cum. This is literally every second day and has always been.
/r/Divorce_Men22/07/23 06:48 AM

Well. That is part of my hesitation and problem. Apart from me being mentally and verbally abuse and us having zero intellectual compatibility, my stbxw wants me badly and has for the full 14 years, sex at least daily or every second day. Intense sex, incredible sex, she desires me. But that is about the only connection we have, hence my worrying about that part.

My other worry is. Watching reddit porn and onlyfans. Most women have big labia and "outie" vaginas. My stbxw has this still perfect "innie", it looks fake so perfect it is. Worried I never get such a beautiful vagina and ass again. I initiated btw, and it is because of major compatibility issues and emotional abuse issues.
