People underestimate the significance of body fat percentage on attractiveness.I'm in HS, and dropped to 5% body fat for wrestling. It's been shockingly easy to maintain thus far. I know my metabolism will eventually slow down, but I think it'll be relatively effortless to maintain low body fat, provided that it remained a priority. Unless you got really unlucky genetically, I see no reason why that beauty standard is so unattainable. It's possible I'm being insensitive, please let me know and redirect me if I'm unreasonable. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/01/22 01:43 PM
Working out, for yourself or to become attractive to others?Honestly, I do it for both. Mostly for myself, but being attractive to other people is a side effect large enough to add motivation on top of working out. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/01/22 10:36 AM
What's the point of labeling people who wouldn't date transgender people "transphobic"?I mean, it's the same idea of calling people who wouldn't date an overweight person fatphobic. It's a weird guilt trip that won't work. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/01/22 07:42 PM
There are only 3 ways to really succeed in the dating world as a guy: Extreme risk, hard work, or luckUm... or have an active, chill social life with a decent salary and a full-time job; basically be a normal person. You won't be anything special romantically, but you won't stay single for too long either | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/01/22 02:27 AM
If all women suddenly become equally really unattractive/ugly, how would society/dating change? As a man, that would be a pain in the ass Alright, I'll show myself out. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/01/22 11:11 PM
Do men really want a girl that "fucks like a porn star" or is that just projection from women?I mean, if she has a large amount of experience, she got it somewhere. I know a lot of guys don't have issues with their partners having a high body count, and that's fine. However, I wouldn't particularly want a partner who has a high body count- chances are, the relationship will end fairly quickly. The more partners you have, the more screwed up you ability to stay monogamous becomes. And honestly, I'm being generous by assuming they break up instead of cheat. Not to mention STDs and whatnot.… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/01/22 10:28 PM
Dating for Women is like being an employer; for Men it is like being a job-seeker. And just like you would rather be the employer; you much rather be a WomanAnd yet the employee usually pays for the shit lmao | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/01/22 09:37 PM
"both women and men struggle in dating" isnt an argument, men have to work harder or be luckierWell, once women were able to have some freedom with whom they married, they had control over how the relationship started, because the man would have control over the relationship after marriage. The idea was that she had to comply to his decisions, but got a lot of control over the person that made those decisions. Now, the man's control over marriages, dating, whatnot have depleted significantly. Do we, should we, balance it out and give men more control over dating? Why or why not? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/01/22 10:25 PM
Women are the biggest enforcers of "toxic masculinity".I don't blame her at all. I think it's a societal/cultural issue, but yes I'd say it's a problem. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/01/22 10:14 PM
Both women and men know what to do to be more sexually attractive. They refuse to improve though.I mean, a lot of physical shape depends on genetics. I got really lucky on the genetic front, and capitalized on it. But I wouldn't place that expectation on an SO. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 08:18 PM
'Men' on this sub are constantly bitching over women and projectingI mean, I mean It's pretty funny when it happens | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 08:10 PM
What defines a HVM?Refugee law. I don't want to defend the criminal or prosecute the guilty. I would never split apart a marriage or take a child from their parent. But I would happily give a desperate person relief. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 11:15 AM
MTFs dominating women’s sports is funny in a “reap what you sow” sort of wayI mean- It is kinda funny | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 11:12 AM
Unattractive men, you have four options really.I had a glow up during quarantine. Worked out like a maniac. One of the better decisions I've made in my life, seems to be the best way out of that trap. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 11:11 AM
What defines a HVM?I'm in HS. But I'm a wrestler and have a body fat of 7%, work out twice a day, and am shooting for a law degree. So... I'm on the right track I think? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 11:01 AM
Women are the biggest enforcers of "toxic masculinity".Yeah, I'm not expecting a whole lot out of HS. I'd like to find someone with more specific common interests, and it seems like people are a whole lot more mature later on. I'm semi-late in the dating game, due to a massive glow-up during quarantine, and am still figuring things out; I'm taking all the advice and help I can get. When internet strangers are your best source, you know you're clueless. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 10:09 AM
Slutshaming a man is impossible because women virginshame so muchWhile I wouldn't say it's encouraged for men to sleep around a lot, I doubt anyone would care all too much. The fact that it's mostly acceptable is the underlying reason FDS exists. Really well-off, good looking dudes being chased by self-centered radicals will only result in the suffering of all parties. Either we start shaming people more, or we just generally stop getting mad at people for exercising their rights as human beings. I'm in the latter group for this one. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 10:05 AM
Women are the biggest enforcers of "toxic masculinity".Honestly? IDK my/society's/something's issue. That's why I'm debating about it, to try and find out what the hell it is. It's probably something I'm doing, chances are the world isn't this messed up | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 09:45 AM
Women are the biggest enforcers of "toxic masculinity".I'll try to take your advice to heart. (Keep in mind that was my second relationship lol) | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 09:43 AM
Women are the biggest enforcers of "toxic masculinity".Hold up. I definitely didn't expose very much at all, and I certainly won't to Reddit, but I'll give you the gist. The death was unexpected and exposed how real and fragile mortality is, which was a shock. That was about the extent. I didn't really feel as if it was grounds for what she did, but hey, it's her choice. And I wouldn't exactly want her sticking around if she wasn't attracted to me. But while I'm not mad at her, I would like to reevaluate the choices our society makes because a lot o… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 07:53 AM
The bitterness right now between men and women indicates that homosexuality really is superior to heterosexualityAnd that's why being bisexual is superior. I've dipped my feet into the water, so to speak, with guys. From what I've found, they're far more caring from the outset, and I enjoy time with them more. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 02:49 AM
Some old classic memes I found. Enjoy.Huh. That's an interesting take, I've never heard that before | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 02:36 AM
Women are the biggest enforcers of "toxic masculinity".Had a full-on feminist-crazed girl in my Human Geography class; despite my misgivings, she was actually a super great person. (Or so I thought) We dated for a few months, then I opened up at her insistence about a family death. She dumped me within the week because 'she didn't feel the same way'. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 02:28 AM
Women are the biggest enforcers of "toxic masculinity".When I do actually talk about my emotions, I feel so much more comfortable confiding my feelings to my male friends vs my female ones, mostly because I'll get to keep my male ones afterwards. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 02:24 AM
Women are the biggest enforcers of "toxic masculinity".This is very true. A lot of women I've talked to say that they wouldn't see me differently if I talked to them about my feelings. Guess what? They lied. whoops | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 02:20 AM
Porn doesn’t set unrealistic expectations, women are just lazy and hopeless in bedFair enough lol | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 02:13 AM
Porn doesn’t set unrealistic expectations, women are just lazy and hopeless in bedRight... I would care if my GF chose another man over me in any fashion. It's a two way street | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/22 12:15 AM
Porn doesn’t set unrealistic expectations, women are just lazy and hopeless in bedI disagree. Porn is incredibly unhealthy psychologically, and leads to erectile dysfunction and all that jazz, everyone has heard this a hundred times. This is roughly equivalent to your GF looking at pictures of Chris Evans, looking at you, and wondering why you're so lazy. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/01/22 05:45 PM
LMAOOk. On one hand, there are absolutely deal breakers of this kind, such as guys not putting period hormones into consideration and being extra patient. That makes total sense and I respect that. Refusing to stop allowing and enabling potentially thousands of other men to sexualize you for profit doesn't sound anything like that. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/01/22 05:40 PM
How true is this?I mean, I guess it gives us a solid baseline to work towards lol | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/01/22 05:36 PM
Some old classic memes I found. Enjoy.I worked on myself pretty hard during quarantine, the difference in attention I receive is ridiculous. And it's always because of my 'personality' smh (I'm in HS so looks are disproportionately important but the point stands) | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/01/22 05:34 PM
Why do incels enrage woman so much? Aren’t they literally doing what they wanted? Who gives a fuck if they hate woman if they don’t get dates in the first place? They're creepy, usually due to them being physically repulsive. I've known enough dudes like that to see how psychologically damaging being overlooked by society is. The personality seems to come with the looks | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/01/22 06:54 AM
The tragic fate of those poor ugly incels 💔I can't say incels don't cause issues. They're annoying and simply don't do much for society. However, it's also important not to define all issues as incel white noise. There's an important distinction, and a lot of what turns guys to incel and blackpill ideology is the lack of caring from just about everyone concerning men's rights. Doesn't excuse the problems they cause, but it seems important to talk about. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/01/22 06:51 AM
The tragic fate of those poor ugly incels 💔...that's every human. That's not gender specific at all. The sooner people realize that every side of every discussion in the history of ever has an insane amount of bias based upon agreement concerning worldviews, the easier it will be to have these conversations. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/01/22 06:47 AM
Older women, please stop making posts about why older men should stop dating younger women, men don't care. That's a good point, actually. Why aren't 'cougars' seen as basically child predators like their male counterparts? Seems like a small double standard to me. Not that it matters all too much, seeing as this sort of thing doesn't happen too often, but it's interesting to talk about. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/01/22 06:43 AM
The biggest problem modern men have in dating world is an inability to talk about their problems. Communication is important for relationships, and most men can’t communicate.Honestly, a lot of memes are exaggerated, and I usually don't appreciate them. But it brings up a good point. Men's emotions aren't talked about a lot, because men aren't rewarded cognitively when we do talk about them. We are *almost* always ridiculed. It's usually not worth 'being in tune' with our feelings. I have yet to meet a female besides my Mom and a school counselor who didn't noticeably think less of me after I talk about my feelings with them. Most of my male friends would think less … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/01/22 06:39 AM
Women in a nutshellI don't think this illustrates all or even most women. Most women are very selective, but the FDS type will vet constantly and seldom commit. In the end, it's their choice how they want to live their life, so I won't bash them. HOWEVER, it's not that great of a 'strategy' if you never end up dating, is it? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/01/22 06:24 AM
When it comes to the male population: There seems to be 3 factions split about how they handle female sexuality: The ones who reward hoe behavior, the ones who are resentful and slut shame and the ones who don't care and want to embrace the systemThey can do what they want, it's a free country. I don't harass or shame people for anything else, so I won't harass or shame them for doing what makes them happy. I sure as hell wouldn't date someone who slept around, though. (I'm a virgin by choice, it's kind of important to my religion and identity that I choose a person and love that person; and only that person) | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/12/21 05:30 AM
This is why the looks threshold is so high onlineI mean, you're better off avoiding online dating altogether. If you're looking for random hookups, you'll do okay if you're a cishet female. If you're looking for long-term commitment, heh. Good luck. I really don't care what you look like or how much you make, it's not gonna happen. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/12/21 05:25 AM
CMV: OnlyFans creators are taking a massive gamble on their futuresI mean, they'd have to track and find you, right? It's not like you're saying you used to do something like that in a job interview, and it's not like anyone's asking. They'll probably be fine, unless they get recognized. And then we'll get some fun/awkward stories on TIFU. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/12/21 05:22 AM
Based on my experience women don't seem to value "intelligence" as an attractive traitWell, I'm in HS, so my experience with immature, hormone high (and often actually high) teenagers is definitely not going to be the norm for adults. But generally I've found that the female of the species doesn't give a flying f*ck. I'm a smart dude and only get attention because of my looks. It's disappointing, but at least I get attention, y'know? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/12/21 05:16 AM
Are monogamous relationships becoming obsolete? It doesn't make financial sense to have kids. It already makes some sense to not marry, and it will probably come to the point where dating won't make sense, like in Asia; especially Japan. Yes, monogamy will still be a thing, especially in religious communities. It'll just be less of a thing. To be honest, having less people in the world isn't really a bad thing. Politicians freak out about plummeting birth rates, but frankly I don't see the problem, besides struggles to support large elderly p… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/12/21 05:11 AM
It seems like men don’t really approach women anymore, especially in the west. What are your thoughts on this?If you're attractive/rich/whatever enough, women will make the 'first move'. However, their definition of a 'first move' is typically not asking someone out, they typically just leave subtle hints and then get frustrated when the guy doesn't pick up on them. I'm in HS, and I've had female friends say crap like, 'It's so obvious she likes you' or whatever. Sorry, I don't like being rejected, I had a friend be accused of harassment for basically nothing. (he called her beautiful; not loudly, not c… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/12/21 05:04 AM
