Spot on. A morning talk show in Australia did an experiment about this. The male host wore the same suit, jacket and pants for a whole year and nobody said a thing. But when the woman host wore the same outfit in close succession the snide comments started happening.

Nobody remembers “Not guilty.” Only the accusation. I’ll admit I was the same way when the Duke Lacrosse scandal happened (from outside the US.) I had no idea they were not guilty until I saw the 30 for 30 about it named “Fantastic Lies.” They were incredibly lucky in the fact they had wealthy families.
