I’m dating a guy now who has house husband potential lol. He’s so affectionate and loves to cook and be helpful. We hang out at my place more since it’s bigger. He will come home from work even though I was off all day and cook dinner. I’ll clean up usually but he takes my trash out. He’ll clean up random things around the house. When I wake up hungry he’ll go out to the store and buy baked goods first thing in the morning. We want kids I know he’ll dote on them. I make 5x his salary working ⅓ t…

I’m saying that “most” in your statement is doing some heavy lifting and that you likely were told something not true or misunderstood what actually happened. Yes some women have been able to get a day or few off for particularly bad menstrual symptoms, but that’s not common.

Absolutely not

Op mentioned periods and pregnancy
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 11:29 AM

Because my period comes every month like clock work and men act like we don’t feel anything. I do the same job as my male colleagues popping ibuprofen with my uterus doing somersaults every freaking month. How often are you getting the flu?

I work a fraction of the time my guy does. We have both masters degrees. He works everyday 9-5 5 days a week. He makes a fraction of what I make. I’m fine with it given his education, him working in the field of his education and him working his ass off everyday.

When I was a bit fatter a dated a body builder. He was obsessed with my body. I wasn’t like rolls everywhere fat, but deffo fat.

You’re too skinny to be her match
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 12:47 AM

I also cannot think of a single time I wanted to flirt with a man who I did not already know, and proceeded to do so by intentionally touching his ass
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/25 02:06 PM
4

Maybe but also keep in mind that women just in general tend to have no problem breaking the touch barrier. Even with our friends, we often touch arms, shoulders, hug. Even hold hands, cuddle etc
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/25 04:41 PM

You should also pay attention to how often you make space for men in these situations versus how often you make space for women. What I mean is as a woman, I often notice that when I need to get by or when I’m walking on a sidewalk men will not shift their weight or move to the side or make space for me. However, when a man needs to pass suddenly, they can move over to the side or shift themselves to avoid contact. I bet a lot of this is unconscious, but maybe pay more attention to whether or no…

I take professsional looking pictures of friends for them to absolutely use on the apps with my iPhone with just a few clicks and no heavy filters, I don’t have a single friend who has paid for actual professional pics. Most men are just awful at taking pics

It’s like aggressively being approached by a used car salesman when you weren’t even shopping for a car that day except that your safety is literally in danger

I’d be curious to see data on the percentage of women actually granted requested accounts and not just that it was legal. As we know from civil rights, there was institutional discrimination despite laws in place.

This is 1000% the answer
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/25 05:52 PM

And I feel it’s the action not the person. Men are not swamp water but the action of finding a guy is like finding fresh water in a swamp
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/25 07:55 PM

Looking for a man and looking for a woman is like looking for clean water in those places. Nobody is comparing the person to a desert or swamp the analogy compares the search of water to the search of a partner. It’s not the same as saying men are a swamp omg
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/25 06:55 PM

Yea, the problem is the complaints on not getting that scarce commodity and judging women who are not interested in risky sex with them
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/25 06:52 PM
4

Doesn’t matter to me though. It’s like wanting to be CEO of the company with entry level experience. More men should become hyper focused on forming relationships and stop leading with hey wanna fuck because that’s a sure fire way to never get spoken to again
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/25 05:20 PM
2

It’s crazy to me because they complain about not getting the one thing that women want the least.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/25 05:11 PM
6

It’s not to the same degree. Men are known and accepted in general to sleep around. Even in Victorian days men were known to visit brothels but could still be considered marriage material

Nope, not at all. I’m good lol

/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 11:26 PM

There are plenty of lesbians who won’t sleep with or date bi women. Also again because by and large women fuck men it’s impossible to say I won’t date women who have been with men. Whether the person saying it is a woman or man. Like 10% of the population is queer.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 11:26 PM
12

Yeah but gay men are sexually aroused by men getting fucked [by men] so they don’t count for this
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 05:17 PM
35

Nobody likes the idea of their partner getting fucked by another man. I think it’s so interesting. Male or female, being with or fucked by another man is a turn off. Men don’t like it when it comes to the women they are interested and women don’t like it (majority of women) when it comes to bi men. The only difference is men have no choice but to deal with it since women date and sleep with men as a default. Saying I won’t date any woman who has slept with another man would lead to almost no opt…

Our current societal norm is that men pursue and ask out. Change that and then we can talk about the reverse
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/25 01:03 PM
2

Fearing rejection and being tired of it is understandable and valid. The response of I can no longer speak to women is fragile imo. Luckily there are plenty of women who I’m sure don’t think like me to choose from
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/25 12:56 PM
2

And you think the guys so fragile and scared of a rejection or having to meet and measure up to a parter that they can’t even speak to a woman are a better choice?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/25 12:43 PM
2

More so you don’t desire that particular woman enough, not women in general. And hey I’m sure there’s a woman somewhere who will put up with whatever this self pity the world is against me, I can’t speak to women ever attitude you have going on. I hope you learn to be at least a bit proactive and romantic at that point.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/25 12:40 PM
3

He would find the courage if he were into her enough
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/25 11:32 AM

People in general know that men are expected per our current societal norms to ask women out. So a man who just decides not to step into pursuer role despite knowing this means he’s not interested in her enough.

Men care more about it than women and rather than explore why they are not great in bed try to blame it on a woman’s “preference” for bigger which is of course something he can’t control and therefore not his fault.

I honestly feel like gen X was more lewd and sexual overall. Remember popular movies of that time? Like the entire American Pie series

This rarely happens for me. Even the hottest of guys. Like movie star level hot, if I don’t know him I’m not interested in sex. I’m slept with some fugly dudes who were in my circle before though.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/25 09:04 PM

True but he may be having ONS with the same woman. You can have a line of 10 woman and there’s 10 guys who have slept with 2 of them

Daily, a handful of men who I find attractive and if we somehow chatted and things went in that direction I would have interest. Almost 0 men who I see and think omg he’s so fine I want him naked in my bed now.

Skinny emaciated looking and chubby aka fat are not the same as being proportionate and fit. This does not require power lifting level of muscles as the original commenter posted. Once again men constantly get this wrong.

I could never hook up with a guy whose values are way off from mine and most guys in a casual social setting air out their general stance on mainstream social issues within a few hours of knowing them.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 12:51 PM

The going to the gym thing is not about powerlifting and packing on huge muscles. Literally just don’t be fat. That’s it.

So you don’t think sex and relationships are something that women choose to participate in when they are met with a man who is in fact a nice person and morally in line with their beliefs and values? It’s less that being lonely is a male character flaw and more that not engaging with an unfit man is a woman’s choice now today more than ever before.

In America, excess body weight. Rounds out features that are supposed to be “sharp” and “masculine”. When I go abroad I think the guys are so attractive, but then I realized it’s just a normal BMI and a wardrobe that’s not 90% sweatpants, ratty jeans and graphic tees. Edit: ignored all your social proof stuff, I know.

Your post is blaming women as a whole and complaining about men not being able to wear a condom even though they may have wanted to it’s totally different. Options are 1)wear the condom 2)don’t have sex

38, range 32-42. I really don’t vibe with older guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 12:53 PM

She’s a troll. Same as men who say any overweight woman is automatically a 2/10
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/25 11:44 PM

Acting like an asshole and overcompensating for not satisfying women for whatever reason size or skill is a moral failing. That’s where small dick energy comes from. Not so much having one, but acting like a jerk due to having one which is self inflicted.

Men’s expectation for immediate sex, like if I show interest I want to get to know him. He tries to bed me within 24 hours and it’s too much. Then if I balk at sex he acts like I’m the problem. Im actually very sex positive and enjoy it. They can all fuck off

From my personal experience matching with and dealing with these guys. Also from my first hand knowledge of my close friends who are guys on the apps. They are very average guys on the apps who think they deserve 10/10s for unclear reasons. They match cute interested women and literally say oh she’s cool, but look at this girls rack/ass/tattoos (implying she’ll put out easy). In my personal case, the give away is the guy gets flaky but is still showing interest. I move on because I don’t have ti…

Sure, in some cases that might be true. I almost always swipe left the “too attractive guys”. However also keep in mind the issue is there are a ton of guys and no women. So the fact that women do the same is actually apples to oranges.

I tried them and gave up on them. The three types of men in dating apps are: 1. Unattractive guys that literally aren’t even trying. Poor style, obese, no social circle, not even a haircut. I’m not interested in them. Average guys who would be my match, because I am an average woman, but they are swiping on and trying to date top tier women. They seem to think having access to these women’s profiles means having any kind of chance with them. Maybe every now and then a couple get lucky with a cut…

/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/25 05:19 AM

I think it’s interesting. IMO plus sized women look better than overweight men. Fat makes human features round and soft which is wanted for women. So fat women are rounder and softer which at some point becomes excessive and universally unattractive. Overweight and obese men are adding round and soft elements to features that should be angular and muscular. So the average dude with any excess weight actually just looks terrible. So I’m not shocked plus sized women don’t like overweight men, any …

I wouldn’t say I’m completely “rich“. I have a high income, but young I don’t have a ton of assets. I’m more of a HENRY. My preference for a guy as someone who is around my age or even younger. I’ve never been very into older men. I’m a solid millennial. I’m not sure I have a specific place that I’m hoping to meet a man. I’ve tried online dating apps, IRL events like speed dating, dinners for meeting people like Timeleft, bar events for young professionals, singles. As far as what I’m hoping he …

My understanding is that in divorce, you can protect your assets going into a marriage with a prenuptial agreement, however, there’s not much opportunity to protect assets that are acquired during the marriage. Maybe I’ve always understood it incorrectly. I’ve never been married and therefore never divorced. To me, the lower income partner stands to benefit greatly in divorce from a high income partner from assets earned during the marriage.

Subconscious abundance when I literally just explained how and why it’s a shit show? Oook
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/25 03:29 PM

If that’s what you consider abundance then fine, but it means nothing to me when they are almost all terrible options. I never felt I had infinite choice and could be super choosy for only the top of the top. That’s not abundance that’s like digging through a clearance rack at Burlington coat factory. Huge warehouse, nothing good.

Really? Tinder gave me scarcity mindset. So many men on there aren’t worth pursuing. 40 years old don’t know what they are looking for, looking for ENM and swiping on my very monogamous vanilla profile. Made me think there’s nobody out there and all men are just trying to hook up even the older ones
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/25 10:47 AM

I mean I discussed what I’m looking for on Reddit and was told that. Not by the guys I date. I just can’t find guys who fit what I’m looking for. My standards are educated, makes a decent living (doesn’t have to be 6 figures but almost), not religious, not a smoker, not obese and at least my height. All things I have for myself, but put it all together and I’m looking for a top 5 % man
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/25 05:45 PM

I’ve discussed on here looking for a man with standards I hold myself to and I was told I’m being unreasonable. So unless the woman has nothing going for her, this is not true

I went to a coffee shop the other day and sat in arms reach of a similar age man. I think pre cell phones we would’ve definitely had a conversation with each other at some point. However, instead, we both sat there. Scrolling on our own phones, briefly, looking up the window, and then going back to scrolling. We left with us speaking over to each other.

I’m almost 40 and I find men my age difficult. I was a late bloomer so I’m sure that factors in as well. I didn’t start dating until halfway through college. I find younger guys to be more open minded, respectful of boundaries and consent. I think huge pop culture media when we were in high school like American pie and similar were actually very problematic. When I say younger for me I’m talking 26ish to 33

The man I’m attracted to doesn’t want me (or doesn’t want me enough). As a modern woman with a job I don’t need a man to survive so I’m waiting to meet a man I’m attracted to. That may never happen and I will die single. That’s fine. More men could take steps to become more attractive (hygiene, obesity, not living in their parents basement playing fortnight at 36).

It’s like you guys all have the same talking points to cope. They were unattractive in the face, one works entry level retail at the mall, lived with his brother for free and had an ecstasy problem. That goes beyond your original question. That’s just how our society is set up and how it has been for quite some time. Attractive people within the realm of what that culture considers attractive get ahead. You would have to make a major culture shift to change that

This is not something I’ve thought about except like twice in my life when the man I was dating got verbally aggressive. He was a body builder and like 6’6 probably 230 pounds. He didn’t hit me but that was the one time I thought I can’t overpower him if I need to. I’m not fragile or small. I don’t weight lift but I can lift fairly heavy things reach shelves etc. so no, it’s not frustrating, literally never comes to mind unless the man is being a piece of shit which lucky for me has been almost …

That’s a pretty big one. It’s more than just abortion it’s reproductive healthcare in general. I could get intentionally pregnant never wanting an abortion and have a type of miscarriage that needs an abortion procedure. These laws put my life in danger because they block that procedure. That’s major.

Don’t be silly, it’s a computer generated Reddit username. Who cares.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 08:40 AM

It becomes stupid because science and reason says so
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 06:46 AM

A better example would be someone claiming to be Italian and another person saying you don’t look Italian. The height example is stupid. As another poster said, height is objective.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 06:27 AM

This is true for me. Overall I feel that men need to learn to approach in person and stop complaining about dating apps. Dating apps are not real life. It’s like online shopping, if I need to buy an air fryer on Amazon I’m going to look at all the products, check reviews, cross reference prices. If I walk into a target I’m choosing between whatever 3 or 4 models are on the floor and getting tf out of there.

Maybe it’s people who don’t have much going for them or are very average and constantly single have this issue

Stigmatized in what way? I’ve been single my whole life, but don’t feel like I’ve been stigmatized I’m any way. I’ve been asked a few times if I want kids or marriage but not often. I have a full social life. I guess the most stigmatized is having to pay the “single tax” for cruises, hotels, living expenses in general. Not stigmatized on a social level though. Maybe because of career? I do have a well respected and high paying career. I work part time hours though and don’t have an alpha career w…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/24 12:13 AM

Again, that’s not what I’m saying Edit: let me clarify. What you said is true, but not the point. My point is a lot of fuckboys just want to fuck around. Women by and large don’t want that. Some do, most don’t. Being average and wanting something most women don’t want to begin with doesn’t help the average guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 03:44 PM

That average relationship minded men have an advantage over fuckboys who are just looking for hookups when going after the average woman who are mostly wanting relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 02:12 PM

As I woman I want sex as much as I would prefer to eat pizza (my favorite food) for every dinner. Yet I don’t do that because, well consequences.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 02:03 PM

Yeah of course they will get more proposals and relationships if they want one, but that’s not what I’m saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 01:36 PM

Average guys need to get relationship minded. Y’all trying to have casual hookups and situationships with women like the hot guys. You’re not attractive enough for that, sorry. Most women want relationships. Be the relationship guy. That’s your leg up on fuckboy Chad. Don’t let the loud minority of Jersey shore type 6ft,6in,6 figures, fake nails, instagram model, Gucci this and that women confuse you. Leave them alone with the players. And no, don’t try to get into a relationship with your Barbi…

Depends though she could raising her standard to a man that can comunícate, or a man who is no abusive or a man who has a job (not even talking about income, just a job). Maybe she dated complete losers before A lot of women would rather stay single these days than deal with any negative traits in men.

Can compare to black women dating. It’s different when a group is systematically discriminated against including for dating. White men are not discriminated against in the US.

For me getting jacked only helps if the guy is overweight or rail thin, like looks medically ill thin. If the guy is already average/normal weight getting jacked doesn’t really do much more for attractiveness imo

I as a woman wouldn’t want to date a man who sees something as intimate as sex as a commodity that can be paid for. If I see a woman being a sex worker then sure get that bag, but I would never want to date her either. Men she dates may not hold the same views I do on sex not being a good that bought and sold. So to each their own I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 03:23 PM

Definitely men. As a woman I seriously wonder if not being in an intimate relationship with a man actually lowers my lifetime risk of violence

Dear men, women are not as obsessed with your dicks as you are with your dicks. Not being her best doesn’t mean anything. Yeah sometimes best sex was the best partner. Sometimes best sex was a noncommittal fuck boy who just happened to know his way around a clitoris but knew jack shit about being a loving partner.

I think historically you are on to something. Until recent history all success for a woman was tied to a man. A woman was nothing if not married or dating the highest status man accessible to her. Men on the other hand could work, be in society independently and make names for themselves. That said a rejected woman literally had nothing going for her. I think some of that carries over to society today.

Buying food versus growing it is way different than having sex. I’m worried you have a very inhuman approach and attitude surrounding sex in general. Most men cannot sleep with most women, no. However most men can sleep with a woman. Maybe not the woman of his dreams, but someone eventually. I find men today regardless of their status want trophies they can show off. The world doesn’t work like that. Lastly, women in general want commitment and relationships the way men want sex. So again my exa…

I think men just don’t understand how much risk women take on with sex. There’s the obvious one of pregnancy, even with contraception. Women are higher risk to catch an STD than men with each sexual act. There’s a lot of times pain involved, pain during sex with a guy who’s going too deep too hard thinking he’s in a porno. Even with real time correction the discomfort still happens. There’s pain sometimes for days after where he stretches the vaginal opening during just normal intercourse, there…

Red flag for me, it signifies a level of desperation and/or low value that was or is so severe that he had to pay a woman (or man idk) to have sex with him. Something that the vast majority of men can get without a transaction. How would you feel if you found out the woman you are dating paid her last partner to be her boyfriend?

I was just thinking to myself I do not know a single woman who fits this description as a woman who has many female friends of all backgrounds
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 10:21 AM

Exactly, but men today think it’s still their father’s dating standards. Financially independent women have more options including remaining single.

Depends again on your standard. Who is considered fat to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/24 02:13 PM

Yep I literally dated a guy who worked entry level retail at the mall and lived with his brother in a way that was obvious his brother was letting him stay with him. He felt he could do better than me. In a way he did, everyone is entitled to whatever their preferences are. Better for him was an overweight woman with lighter skin and no job

Offering money is not going to work anymore. At least not on a large scale. That was the approach of the past. Women have good jobs and bank accounts now

None of these points are strong, but I’ll just comment on #3. It’s not true. The key word is average woman. No the average woman does not have an unlimited text list of men waiting to take her on luxurious dates. This is likely true for IG influencers, daughters of socialites etc, but again these are not average women. They are not dating average men. Maybe you have a very skewed perspective of what you consider luxury? An example of the luxury date you are referring to would help me interpret t…

I want him to be at least 6ft, I’m 5’11 To make at least 6 figures, I make 300-400k and men who make much less have been insecure/resentful about it in the past He needs to have a college degree, I’m just attracted to the worldview of college educated men. I have a doctorate Good hygiene, I guess that’s not a crazy high standard that’s bare minimum to me Only a sliver of men meet all that and I’m aging out so whatever I’ll get a cat

It’s the same people for the most part. They just act different when on the app vs real life. Kind of like how people waste food at a buffet, but eat or save every bite of a served dish no matter the size.

Same, never found love and ok with it. Found a great career and meaning. Sometimes I get a little sad I don’t have a partner but then I socialize with friends and I’m ok again. I still am open to dating, but honestly dating makes me feel worse. I’m tired of being lied to by men who ultimately just want sex. I get optimistic that maybe I’ll finally have a relationship and turns out I was just being told what I wanted to hear I’m order to get physical as fast as possible. In fact dating and failin…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 11:47 AM

I get approached in social settings like mixers or bars. I don’t get approached in random places so often like grocery stores. I’ve been told I am attractive, and when I go out I get compliments from random strangers. Often older and younger women and gay men, obviously too old for me men sometimes. I’ve been told I’m also intimidating so for it to be in alcohol involving scenarios makes sense. I’m also tall and not white.

This take is so off base. The average woman is not financially dependent on a man anymore. Sure disposal income is nice, but old dating norms of the older well off man were set in times when women had a hell of a time even getting a credit card. In fact women couldn’t get a credit card in her own name until laws changed in 1974 and took time for financial stability and bank accounts in the woman’s name only to become commonplace. So basically, the answer by and large is the first one. Also I’m a…

I would consider this pretty much the bare minimum except: Vacations with friends-just have friends at least and see them in person sometimes. Having a car- if in a big city like London, NYC, Paris not an issue. Height-I don’t think tall is necessary but at least 5’7ish.
