There are a lot of methods, one that is recommended often is count to 3 and at 3 just do it. You can be uncomfortable. You’re uncomfortable because you think you don’t know what to. I’m on mobile so I can’t see what the original situation was exactly but if you are at her place watching a movie, I suggest making a move prior to the end of the movie. Either way she is expecting you to do something if you are at her house with her

I get into this mood every once and a while and the one thing that helps is exercising and hanging out with people. I find that when I get into a lonely/sad mood it's because I'm not doing anything. Edit: even little shit like cleaning your car. Get off Reddit and Facebook if you're bored. I am trying to transition to only using Facebook or Reddit when I am eating or doing something else that doesn't require my attention.

Well there's nice guys, people who are nice people in general and want to have a good time and then people like /r/niceguys who are pretty much what OP describes.

99% of the time I send pictures of just me or of the floor with text. I'm not going out and trying to find really cool places for pictures or anything. The amount of snapchats I send is directly related to how much fun I'm having as well. Today I went to the grocery store and will go to work later, so I'm not sending out very many. A few days ago I was at a big airshow and I was sending them out all the time

I think snapchat is a more personable form of texting. I like following my friends on there to see what they're actually doing, and not what they put on facebook that they know their family will see. I like snapping people because having a picture attached to a message is more interesting. Plus if they send a picture of their face, you can evaluate the meaning of the message better. I often get text messages and I am unsure if they are joking or not, whereas if I get a snapchat and they are laug…

Every date except 1 that I've coordinated through tinder ends up like OP's situation. Every date I've coordinated through text has actually ended up as a date

If you don't find her physically attractive then no you shouldn't. Generally I think "Would I want to show or hide from my friends that I slept with her?" and make my decision there.

How do you guys come up with these witty remarks on the spot? Because in reality I have a hard time distinguishing when it is appropriate to make that witty remark or when to be serious and honest.

Kinda have a similar situation, but I've moved and don't live near her anymore. I've always found her attractive, but since we were coworkers I avoided asking her out. We were coworkers for 3 years, always got along well. My other coworkers always made fun of me because they thought we liked each other and called us "lovebirds" behind our backs, which I recently learned. But since I don't work there anymore... Recently went on a camping trip with my old coworkers and I had successfully moved on.…

Listening to your own voice is really helpful in determining how you want to improve it. I have had the idea of recording myself talking to people to see how I sound. I'm a pilot and anyone can view the ATC tapes online. I frequently go online and listen to myself talk to see if I am talking loud enough/clearly. This started out because whenever I pushed the mic button in the plane I became much quieter in my ears than when talking without pressing it. I've improved my radio skills and have beco…

If you want to dance to have fun, then yea go for it. Don't dance with her hoping that she'll come around and you'll go home with her. Same goes for texting

Okay dude I've gone through your posts because I wanted to see the /r/amiugly posts. Please get off reddit or the internet for a few days and do something you enjoy. You've spent the last 7 days with toxic thoughts about how you aren't attractive, that you should get surgery etc. These aren't good. Constantly thinking that you are ugly is not good. Go out for a bike ride or a run. Listen to some good music. Get your mind off of this topic of attractiveness. Girls aren't liking you on tinder? So …

Yea the thing you need to fix is your confidence. If I saw you in public I would think you were a normal guy. If you haven't read through the sidebar I suggest you do that first.

it is crazy, I have done the same thing. I saw the whole spectrum within 30 minutes. I feel like I've always been pretty good at teasing/being playful. Sometimes when I am down, I think "is me being playful/teasing bad because it seems like the same shit the girl from Hey Arnold did to Arnold" I like to tease with my coworkers, one girl specifically I've always liked but never asked out or anything. I just fuck with them just enough where its fun for me and they usually laugh. It is legitimately fun for me. I'm not trying to get with them, I just like doing it. I've always been …

Seriously why are there large spiders? I can deal with tiny ones, they're all cool. They're just roaming around looking for a mosquito to eat or something. Saw one crawl over my shoe yesterday, didn't give a fuck. But then we have the big ones. Like that are they even hunting? Mice? How about we replace those mice hunting spiders with Hawks. That sounds nice. Hawks are cool. I've seen pictures of big ass spiders that move incredibly fast in Australia, and I totally nope the fuck out of there. I …

haha I wouldn't be the guy to do that. I like looking at seddit every once and a while and read some tips. I'm not some master that the other guys are on here. But I'll share my transformation over the last few years But the me in high school never went to parties (never invited), didn't like many people, never asked out a girl until my senior year, no drinking, had a few friends but not really great ones that I could go hang out with all the time. My life was wake up, go to school, get home, go…

The paragraph you wrote that you think you should say to her is a bad idea. Confidence is key and saying "sorry if this comes off as creepy" is not confident. I think you need to just talk to her like a normal person. She is a regular person. Read some of the guides in the sidebar if you haven't, you will learn a lot.

Okay everyone is kinda bashing you for lying about you being religious, while I agree that was a bad move for something to pretend about. Its a fairly dull topic, hard to fake, and if you screw up she will know. Claiming to be something that you know something more about (for example, my friends who aren't pilots yet know enough to make it sound like they are experts) If you want some advice on the questions you've asked, you're going to have to lie more. Once you lie to a girl you have to be re…

but what if the girl keeps texting me asking whats up? I feel like if she keeps wanting to talk I should talk to her. However then I feel like if I don't try to initiate conversation I come off as rude. Its a girl I've been talking to for a while (been on 3 dates in like 6 months since I go to school out of state). We aren't going out.

Seriously, this is the best way to think about it. I was thinking about it the other day and 9 months ago I had never asked out a girl. Then I thought "holy shit I've gone out with like 5 girls". its crazy to think that less than a year ago I was nervous and unable to ask out girls and now I'm much more confident. I laugh when i think about that because its just crazy because a year ago I honestly had thoughts about never asking out a girl, or thinking I was just too awkward to do that. And now …
