Back in Germany, we have something we call "Gutmenschentum" which is comparable to SJWs or White Knightism, where you can't critizes anything or anyone anymore, you have to be tolerant, have to be acceptant of everything and anyone, be it gender topics, choice of sexuality or religion and so on. My take on this has something to do with risk taking. Men tend to take more risks because of their hormonal levels. Being honest takes courage and requires accepting the possible risk of pissing somebody off. Women often won't take the risk of dealing with the consequences of their actions, so they are more inclined to lying. So yeah, it probably has to do something with biology.
