Take away that motivation and you become the very person you are berating, and someone on reddit may be calling you "pitiful", to use your own word. That's what I don't get. A little bit at a time, for a long enough time, will always get you somewhere great, or at least better. My dad left me when I was 10, my family lost everything in 2008, and my mom is an abusive, narcissistic alcoholic. I was bullied frequently throughout school, picked on for being too skinny, having a lazy eye, not playing sports, playing too many video games, etc. I've only been in one relationship and it lasted a month and that was over a year ago. 1	UPDATE: I finally asked the gorgeous girl out from my class. If it's not even clear to you whether it's a real date or not, it's definetly not going to be clear to her. Best of luck but you should avoid fucking shit up like this and just ask her out in person. Better yet, don't ask, just suggest.
