Yep, this is the exact mentality to have.

Hmm I wouldn't really recommend hanging out with girls who have turned you down. Mainly because in the back of my head I would be thinking "Oh if she sees how cool I am, maybe she'll give me a second chance!" Just my opinion, I know some guys are ok with it.

Co-workers or friends of co-workers is a great option. I've met a lot of awesome women because of that. One of them has become a great source of female perspective for me because I can bounce topics off her and don't ever feel afraid to ask her for her opinion.

Goals, hobbies, friends, work etc. If you have a lot of stuff going on in your life you won't have time to be needy.

Hey man, please don't feel ashamed about it. I didn't lose my virginity until I was 26! I grew up not knowing how to approach women I was interested in and thought dating wasn't for me. I got my heart broken and it inspired me to learn why I was so insecure about my feelings and it's led to nothing but success. "many other guy are in the same boat as me" You bet. I work with a lot of smart dudes who could pull women but don't have very good social skills. If that's something you struggle with, w…

Yep, this right here. Why use an asset as valuable as your time on someone that you aren't genuinely interested in and can see yourself with? Goes for friendships too.

"Putting a girl on a pedestal and having a "crush" on her. You tell her how you feel, and obviously she doesn't feel the same way, because she barely knows you. You think you know her because you spent the past 2 months thinking about what your future kids will look like, but unlike you, she's normal and doesn't do that shit." Shit hurts so bad when you realize that you put this kind of pain on yourself. This used to be me, and I'm sure a lot of other guys here have made this mistake too.

Once you go through that, you realize things about yourself that you may have not noticed before. Told this girl I loved her and she just didn't give an ounce of a shit about me. It'll stay with me for the rest of my life, but it made me stronger.

Unfortunately for a lot of men it takes getting hurt REALLY bad before you wake up to these things. That's what happened to me.

"If and when you are talking to a prospect, and she starts complaining about an ex or current bf, or becomes negative in any way IGNORE IT. Don't even acknowledge she said it. I am a funny guy, I always have been I just made too many other mistakes. When a woman does this to me now I redirect them immediately." This is really solid advice. When girls do this, they want to see how you react to it. I was guilty of taking the listening approach with the last girl I was really into when I should hav…

And do you understand why that is? Look at the language you're using to describe yourself in that post for example. It sounds to me like you don't want to put in the effort into figuring out how to attract a woman who genuinely wants to be with you.

You need to be someone that a woman would want to be with. Work on yourself and find out what makes you tick. What are you passionate about? Do women like being around you and do you make them feel good about themselves? Just because you're nice and would never physically assault a woman doesn't make you desirable.

That's really not bad at all. Like in terms of stupid things to say this doesn't even register. Shrug it off.

Same age as you and can't begin to imagine hitting numbers like that. What would you recommend to those of us who struggle with anxiety? Grats on your success.

I imagine women I'm initially intimidated of taking a dump, after that I can strike up a conversation with them usually.

You are not alone. I am in the exact same situation, and the same age.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
