If a woman you saw in the past fingered you in the ass and you didn't like it, are you obligated to now let every woman you see afterwards finger you in the ass? After all, you let HER finger you in the ass, wouldn't that be insulting to every woman afterwards who wants to finger you in the ass?

How do I know I am at the point for that person that it's OK to talk about sex, and that I'm not misreading the signs or misjudging the situation? Remember, I cannot just ask if it's OK, because that's a transgression of their boundaries.

If asking for consent is a transgression against a boundary, how is consent even possible to attain without pushing boundaries?

Question: In this scenario, do professionals help? Like, if there were a government program to give loneliness and sexlessness induced suicidal men time with pro sex workers or pro cuddles, wouldn't that be the best solution?

Why does this respect only go one way? Why can't I say "Out of respect for the people who see sex as a fun activity, please do not shame anyone just for sexually propositioning you, as long as they accept your rejection?"

Any man who doesn't like the scenario you proposed but is fine with mine is hypocritical and homophobic, yes. I agree. Does not mean the big guy did anything wrong.

Oftentimes, what happens is that he told her he wants something casual, but she decided that he didn't REALLY mean that, because he "acted like this was a relationship" (usually, these actions include stuff like going to the museum with her, making breakfast the morning after, etc). It's like the movie (500) Days of Summer, but with the genders reversed.

From my understanding, it's not so much that the videos have been taken down as they have been swept under the rug. While Motherless bans certain terms from being searched, the videos are still there, and can still be linked from playlists and groups. Apparently, getting ANY video taken down from that site is a Kafkaesque nightmare, seemingly by design. It's why Motherless links are banned on both 4chan and Reddit.

62 million people would be the biggest "educational institution" in the history of the world. By far. The biggest university in the world is the Indira Gandhi National Open University in India, with anywhere from 3 to 7 million students.

Truth be told, I do not trust the US Government, especially under the current administration to do something right about this. If they do, it's probably going to be something with ulterior motives. Like require ID verification on adult sites (so they can then call LGBTQ sites adult sites). Or ban Telegram (and Signal would also fit that definition), because it's been used by protesters and activists to coordinate and communicate. Or ban all porn.

Sure, an unknowable amount of those 20,000 are genuinely assault, while likely most of them are fantasy. But my point is, demanding that Motherless take those down is a genuine actually possible action that can be taken, which has largely NOT been the reaction.

OK, so I know you won't care about it harming men, but you MAY care about other groups this may harm. You see, there is a concept called manufacturing consent, in which the media is used to manipulate the public into accepting certain policies or ideology, often using misleading stories. An obvious example that comes to mind is the WMD in Iraq story used to get the public to accept the Iraq War. What does that have to do with this? Well, there has been a very clear desire from the government to …

I can't say for sure if the intention of the article is to manufacture consent for online ID laws or to repeal Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act... but if I were trying to manufacture consent for online ID laws or to repeal Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act and I wrote this article, I'd think I did a pretty damn good job.

Nobody actually cares about birth rates other than ethnic supremacists and rich people worried they won't have enough wage slaves.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 05:03 PM

They care so little, every single post is constantly complaining about men, and they make how much they don't want men their whole personality. Sure, Jan. I'd believe you if the 4B movement subreddit was about women taking photos from all the fun vacations they went to alone, all the hobbies they pursue alone, etc.

I find it kinda funny how for years, you'd hear about how they're not going their own way because they're constantly complaining about women. Now, you can just look at the 4B movement subreddit, and literally all their posts are just complaining about men. But I'm sure that's different because reasons.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/26 03:45 PM

She's very clearly ignoring a lot of stuff about Shrek. Like, Shrek wanted to be left alone, not because he's some antisocial guy, but because everyone he ever saw treated him like shit. It's very clear from the very beginning that the villagers are pitchforks and torches towards him, not because he did anything wrong, but simply because he's an ogre. If men complain about sex in a relationship, then he's being dishonest because what he really wants is a hookup. If men complain about not getting hookups, then he's just being entitled. I'm beginning to think you just don't want men complaining about sex.

So if you let a woman finger you in the ass at one point, maybe you wanted to see what it felt like, maybe she offered and you thought "eh, what the hell", but it turns out you hated it, are you now obligated to let every woman you see afterwards finger you in the ass? If a woman you're seeing finds out that a woman you previously saw let you finger her in the ass, would she be reasonable in questioning how attracted you are to her if you won't let her finger you in the ass, even though you let …

I'm afraid of being seen as creepy and gross, losing a friend, being ostracized, and being seen as the guy that every woman has to warn her friends about, all because I committed the unforgivable sin of being attracted to my friend and thinking that, because I like doing all sorts of activities with her, sexual activity might also be fun. But sure, I guess you could call that "fear of rejection".

Creepiness. What's the correlation between how likely a man is to be labeled creepy and how attractive he is to the woman. Or how dangerous he is. Or how socially undesirable he is, for other reasons (neurodiversity, unusual hobbies, unusual sexual preferences, etc.)
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/26 05:44 PM

Mine is simple: I just need a way to express a desire for sex or romance to someone without being labeled a creep. If I could just say "Hey, I enjoy being around you, and I think this might be fun, would you be interested in sleeping with me?", and she can either say yes, in which case, game on, or she can say "no thank you", in which case, I'd just day "no problem", and just continue on my day. Furthermore, many polyamorous relationships are parallel polyamorous, in which the partners date other partners, which are not necessarily involved with their other partners (for example, you have a wife and a girlfriend, your girlfriend dates you but not your wife). Do I even need to say why it would be problematic for a One Penis Policy when you aren't even involved with those men that she would be dating?

That's pretty much the bulk of what they say is blue pill advice, take out almost everything, maybe add the words "just" and "bro" to make it sound dumber. I know what you're talking about, and it wasn't a study, it came from one guy's absolutely awful misinterpretation of a survey. There was a happiness survey, one of the categories was "Married, spouse absent", and women were consistently the lowest in happiness on that one. He thought it meant that they'd ask women who are married how happy they are, they'd say they're happy, but then when their husband would leave the room, they'd tell the truth, that they're miserable. OK, cool. Definitely a useful skill. Being able to make friends easily is definitely nice, and people could work at that. But that still doesn't help you show romantic or sexual interest in someone. Flirting and having a regular conversation are different things. While people are unlikely to find you creepy for talking to them like a friend, they ARE more likely to find you creepy if you show that you'd like to date or hook up with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 09:25 PM

It's not hard to maintain plausible deniability. One of the skills of flirting is maintain plausible deniability until you think it is safe to pull the trigger. The dumb thing to do is hyper focus on your "target". If you don't have that experience, it's actually pretty difficult to walk the line between too obvious, no plausible deniability and indistinguishable from how you act with platonic friends. The guy who hyper focusses on one women in his social group then when rejected, stops being fr…

Even if it's friends of friends, rehabilitation will be difficult if not impossible. If you have that reputation, your friends will warn any female friend about you, poisoning the well. That is, if they'll even allow you to hang out with their female friends. practice those skills in tournaments you can afford to lose. What is that in this analogy? Cold approaches? Friend groups you don't mind losing?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 06:52 PM

OK, but observing others, you don't get the full context. You don't see every part of their relationship. You don't see what they did to get them to that point in the relationship in which the way they're acting with each other is acceptable. Even if you did see both people from when they met, you still aren't getting the full story. There will be things they do and talk about alone, away from others. ESPECIALLY if romance or sex is involved. While observing can give you some information, it won…

And if I don't have these skills, how do I gain them?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 02:03 PM
4

One problem here. While everything you mentioned as to how to not be creepy is true, if you can do all of that, it will probably not be creepy. But doing all of that is a skill. Like all skills, it requires making mistakes in order to get better. Making mistakes in this case involves misreading signs, making too much or too little eye contact, and overall, making others uncomfortable, and yes, being creepy. I am still waiting for someone to say how to get to the point where you're skilled at all…

One. Who I wasn't interested in, a few years ago. Every other time, it was someone else telling me. Also, you're putting yourself in a position where you don't have to examine this. If an unsuccessful guy asks, then it's just because he's autistic and doesn't get any signs. If a guy who is successful (or who you perceive as successful) asks, then he's trolling and in bad faith.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 05:07 PM
3

I might be autistic. Also, I have been told that I've been given signals, sometimes by the woman who was giving them. Every time, it was indistinguishable from someone who was just being friendly to me. So again, I ask you. How do I learn what these signs are?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 05:01 PM

It used to be an academic term critiquing the way movies are made with their camerawork specifically, but now, it's some puritanical thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 03:18 PM
2

And how do we learn these signs if we don't know them or we're not naturally good at seeing them? (Hint: The answer is trial and error, but that's not allowed.)
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 03:08 PM

Does it matter if it’s not someone we’re interested in? Yes. Because awkward and creepy are the difference between just being rejected, and being rejected, warned about, and ostracized by anyone you tell about him.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/23 08:06 PM
2

I see. Well, that only makes sense if you're talking about a specific form of casual sex. Now, if you're talking about FWB, swinging/BDSM play (seriously, those people have completely non-sexual gatherings, have entire communities where they all know their non-sexual, vanilla lives), or anything other than same-night ONS from a nightclub, one where they DO actually know and care about the other person, well, there's some issues there. https://www.thenation.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Page-11.…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/23 06:58 PM

I agree with that, and that good advice would be to not build something up to be much more important than it is. However, you still haven't demonstrated how this necessitates not seeing women as people. OK, so to claim casual sex in itself is wrong and dehumanizing... that is a much hotter take, and is a claim which is going to require some pretty good evidence. How exactly is an act between consenting adults wrong? By which I mean, the act itself, no deception involved, no coercion, etc. I am w…

Point taken in the first paragraph, but there are realistic possibilities, albeit unlikely ones if it's the most innocuous ask of seeking out a long term relationship, that the negative consequences could be pretty severe, such as ostracization, being kicked out of the group he knows her from, or other things. These get more and more likely the less "innocuous", for lack of a better word, what he wants from her is. Respectfully, you are missing the forest for the trees with the "dick wet" respon…

Perhaps I need to be more clear, fear of negative consequences does not mean seeing someone is different from a person. Like, fear of rejection. I don't think anyone is afraid of rejection in itself. Like, if you were to ask someone out, they replied "I'm flattered, but I don't see you that way", and then their relationship remains the same afterwards, and they treat each other the same way? I don't think anyone is afraid of that outcome. The thing people ARE afraid of is things becoming bad wit…

Thank you, I appreciate your detailed answer and explanation. I do understand that generic advice will have to be given without knowing the person, or if it's not about a specific situation. However, I may have to push back on a few things: First off, just because someone is scared of approaching romantically or sexually, doesn't mean they see women as different than people. This can be a big deal, and will likely cause a major change in the relationship between the asker and askee, whether good…

Well, sometimes just the act of introducing sexual attraction is enough to make things awkward or uncomfortable.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 07:51 PM
3

OK, but how do I know what is "super gross" for that level of alcohol without having done the work of finding out what is super gross for that situation or not by making mistakes and learning from them?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 07:36 PM
3

you can, if you can do it with some social awareness and charm. I agree. That's true. But if you aren't socially skilled enough to do it with social awareness and charm, you have to put in the work to get to the point where you can. And how do you put in the work? You do it. And you make mistakes. And those mistakes are doing it without "social awareness and charm". And that's where the problem is.

I appreciate the honesty of this answer. Yes, people can react however they feel they need to. I also see an interesting game that the other side plays as well, in which they imply that it's morally wrong to make others uncomfortable, but it's totally possible to get to the good point without doing so. If asked how, the response is either radio silence, telling them they have to do things they currently aren't capable of doing at their current skill level, or something along the lines of "It's n…

As someone who has agonized for months trying to find the perfect time to ask out someone I was interested in, only for when that happened, I learned she's gay, it would've been a lot less painful had I just ripped off the band-aid and asked her out as soon as I started being into her.

What is the difference between awkward and uncomfortable? Is it the intentionality of the other person, like if he didn't mean to make her feel this way, it's awkward, and if he did, it's uncomfortable? OK, how does the person receiving the action tell the difference between these two feelings? It really seems like you're making a distinction without a difference.

When you say that it doesn't happen normally, do you mean that it happens, but it's nowhere near as common or as bad as some guys act, or that it's something so rare that if someone makes another person uncomfortable in this context, it's safe for that person to assume it was intentional, or something else?

Alright, and he apologizes, learns from it, and uses this introspection to get better? Cool, glad we agree!

Social skills are not a monolith. People can be good at one thing, not good at another. Nobody is Stage 4 at absolutely everything social. If any such person existed, they're dead now, because they died of starvation because they were completely unable to do even the most simple interaction of buying some food. A guy who is at Stage 4 at approaching a woman he's interested in and showing his interest in her would just... never approach her. A guy at Stage 3 would approach her, not able to tell i…

I'm not arguing that men should never be rejected. If a man attempts to date a woman who isn't interested, he should be rejected. OK, so he makes platonic friends first. But then he wants to date one of them, or add benefits to that friendship. Being able to ask out a friend or show sexual interest in a friend is also a skill, and what I say still applies.

And what if they do make the other person uncomfortable unintentionally? And how should they improve that situation?

Sure, people can get to Stage 1 and 2 during childhood. However, just because you're socially adept at one aspect of socialization does not mean you're adept in all aspects. I can order food at a restaurant just fine. But when it comes to approaching a woman, or showing my interest in her... Furthermore, not everyone was properly socialized as a child. Some had emotionally neglectful or absent parents. Some were bullied and excluded by their peers. And some are neurodivergent. What I'm saying is…

Yes. Being momentarily annoyed is not the worst thing that could happen to a person.

But mostly no, not really, if you're good at picking social cues and reading the room. And if a guy is NOT good at this, what does he do? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the answer is that he learns how to do so. And like any skill, learning requires making mistakes, and learning from his mistakes. So in other words, he DOES have to make women uncomfortable to get to that point you mention. But correct me if I'm wrong, please.

How is sex or a specific sex act not something produced in the same way food or healthcare is? Also, you mentioned that pornography should be cost-free. Isn't that something that's produced, especially since there's work involved that does not involve sex?

Do you feel similarly about other markets, ie, food, healthcare, etc?

I don't think it's impossible to make things better. Like at one point, religious monarchies were the most common form of government. Now there's only a few of them. Also, slavery was once completely legal pretty much everywhere. Now it's illegal in virtually every country.

Remember when this language was used to expose powerful people who abuse their positions of being able to sexually abuse those whose livelihoods they could destroy?

But let's be clear here: the real purpose of the whole "women in STEM" is not to empower women. It's because corporations think that people in STEM are too expensive, so they want to greatly increase the workforce, lowering the cost of employees.

I feel like we could learn from this as well. I would like to say "don't expect the general populace to self regulate". While I'm sure a lot of the smart feminists understand that there's nuance to the things they say, they shouldn't expect the general population to. This goes for those who would see it and go with their first instincts and hate it, and probably even worse, those who would see it and love it. I feel like we could also do better on that front as well. I do see a lot of people who…

Speaking of the "poisoned M&Ms thing, there's something I really wanted to talk about regarding that. The original poisoned M&Ms Tumblr post was after the whole Elliot Rodger shooting, and the #NotAllMen controversy. Someone posted an Ask to the original poster basically saying that the same thing could be used to justify racist views. The poster responded to that saying angrily ranting something about privilege (I'm too busy to find that post right now, perhaps I'll edit that in later), and eve…

I think we need to emphasize that feminists/feminism did not create a lot of these harmful perceptions of men. One example is viewing male sexuality as inherently predatory. That did not originate with feminism, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole "dad cleans his shotgun before boy takes his daughter on a date" even predates the suffrage movement. Now, this is not to say that feminists are not completely at fault, to use that example, a lot of their rhetoric, probably not intentionally, does en…
