Not much, melatonin is not chemically addictive and does not give you a hangover if used in the recommended dose. As I said it is OTC in Germany too where I got it from. Melatonin is the sleep hormone your body naturally produces (Which is suppressed by blue light from screens ect.). Just research if you are really interested in finding a solution. Only thing I would add. Use Ketodiastix to check for ketones in your urine, don't stop if you get keto flew, drink lots of water with a little spoon of losalt for eletrolytes (potassium) and a magnesium supplement. Don't do it if you are already diabetic and check with a doctor.
