I feel like after Harry said, "I can't help you," he was just trying to make the girl feel better. But he knew what was up. You could tell on his face. He knew this guy was NOT going to do it. Not now. Not ever.

That's when you need to ask them, with a straight face, to explain the joke to you. The look on their faces when trying to explain why something like this is funny is priceless. The more they try to explain, the more they show just how awful they are.

I feel like it was said to her, but also to women as a whole. Like, they're acknowledging her presence, but still saying they don't view her as a real person.

That one guy that tried to make it better by saying they're all going to hell and calling her 'Sweetheart'. Thanks, bro. I mean, I was really worried for my safety for a minute there, but you saying you're going to hell and calling me sweetheart really makes me feel safe.

Hmm, I never knew all that. I'm in Australia, so we don't get much Steve Harvey news. I'm only going off what's in the book. I'm sorry to say, but a lot of the stuff he talks about, FDS talks about too. I still think it's worth the read.

What's wrong with Steve?

I would also be concerned that he can't string together a proper sentence. Grammar? What grammar?

He's a man child. His mother cottled him way too much as a child, so he always need to be touched and doted on.

Mainly logistics and also health. I'm scheduled for a a decent size surgery in a couple of weeks, so it won't be happening any time soon unfortunately.

I've decided that I don't want children. He can't wait to have them. Which absolutely baffles me because he can't afford basic stuff. It's another thing we disagree on. Unfortunately, sometimes the things that we fall in love with in the beginning, end up being the same things that we fall out of love with. Honestly, we'll never know what will happen in 5 years or how we will feel. I would prefer to take the risk and see what happens. It's all life experience into he end.

Saving money, mainly. There is also a little part of me that's scared to be alone as well, but I know I would be ok eventually. He was really lovely before he got this car. We would got out to dinner, go for little day trips, try new restaurants, just enjoy ourselves. Now it's all about the car. It is literally all he talks about, and I have no interest in it at all. I'm past even trying to be enthusiastic for him. I guess I'm holding on to the man he was before this... Sigh I know our time is c…

It's me. My husband. He came home in a mopey mood, complaining that he has no money and he has no idea where it goes...umm, it's the over the top car you chose that you couldn't comfortably afford, it's all the extras you're adding to it, it's your share of the house and pet insurance, it's all the things that come with being an adult and having bills to pay. Me on the other hand, I have a comfortable amount of savings even though we split everything. I don't spend beyond my means. I still live …

He did, because he now has noone to blame but himself.

My husband hates to nap in the afternoon because he always "feels like shit" afterwards. He would always get angry at me for not waking him up. I put my foot down a few weeks ago, telling him to set an alarm if he hates it so much because I'm not his mother. Well, to my surprise, he actually set the alarm! He slept through it, but hey, he had noone to blame but himself for feeling crappy. I class this as a small win.

Holy crap! It's like you read my mind. I've just realised that this is what is happening with me and my husband right now. I just thought it was because I'm busy with work and life etc. But reading this set a light bulb off for me. I'm happy to play with my toys and have a good time, but when my husband finds out and wants to join me, the mood instantly leaves. It all makes sense now.

She unfortunately get the worst of it. They just had a baby not long ago. He name is Turia Pitt if you want to read about her and her journey. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turia_Pitt

He does work. He's been working from home for the last few months, so he doesn't need to get up and travel anymore. He also used to work in hospitality(over 10 years ago) and it has apparently ruined his body clock. Even after 10 years...

I think I'm trying to cling to any hint of positivity, and that's huge issue in itself.

Congrats on the weight loss! I'm very glad you didn't throw yourself off of a building. Thanks! Me too! I've tried individual therapy once, years ago. I've been thinking about it a lot, but then I think "Am I really the one with the issues here?" I can honestly see myself living alone with my cats for the rest of my life, and I am totally ok with it. I would rather be alone than have to deal with this for the rest of my life. I think i just answered my own questions...
