I know this is old, but could you expand on why?

While I agree, this can't happen until the person processes the raw emotions from initially finding out. The rumination phase is a painful yet natural 1st step after finding out. Can't just throw your hands up and say 🤷 better luck next time until you've thought things through and naturally come to deciding to be the best you can be.

Running and hiking. Go hard. Let your thoughts and frustrations all out. When I'm done I feel amazing usually and my anxiety is mostly gone.

If she cheats, all this communication she had with OP doesn't justify things though.....cheating is never the answer. I haven't read all of his posts but I definitely recommend some couples therapy and more one on one time without kids.

I think you would save your mental health by not asking those kinds of questions and just pulling the trigger now. It can only make things worse and I wish I hadn't found her lingerie in her suitcase. I also asked about way too many details that still mess with me today. The indications were there because she was always asking me to hangout with her coworkers after work but also she traveled for work with them A LOT. So many nights where she wouldn't answer the phone to say goodnight to our chil…

I had them way worse before but now they're just different and not as extreme. My ex had several affairs for a couple years with coworkers /friends from work. She would always ask me if it was okay she got drinks after work with one or more of them and at the time it didn't bother me. I even hangout with them a lot and one of her coworkers became really good friends with me but then I learned he was saying things and touching her at work My ex also threatened suicide, attempted in front of me, a…

My ex would throw things and yell at my now 4 year old daughter. She would always tell me she was scared of mommy and didn't want her only wanted me. She wouldn't want her to come to the park with us. She would tell me about times when she was 1 and 2 years old when mommy would get mad at her and throw her sippy cup or knock things over in fits of anger. Now she never once hit my child or I, but the emotional turmoil was never ending and eggshells were always walked on

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
