Birds of a feather flock together. If you were on a lot of drugs, what kind of women were you hanging out with, other drug abusers? Just because she looks like a model doesn't mean her self esteem is high or she isn't an idiot. I would say more "the power of love" rather than the female brain. Love makes both men and women do completely stupid things. Fwiw I am female and if a guy can't show me a recent std test or get one, goodbye.

It's really not a sign of your market value. I have a friend with basically no self esteem who is dating a guy with genital herpes, and she doesn't even like him that much. You may think it's an ego boost, but you may just be dealing with a woman who has no self worth.
