Mmm, another round of right-wing propaganda to coopt Men's issues with ahistorical and apriori nostalgic assumptions of how it 'used to be' before 'Liberals' and Communists ruined everything. This is likely how the idiotic author came to the assumption that MRAs and Feminists have essentially the same goal. Complete with utopianist "nothing will ever be traditional enough for my traditionalism", no sources cited garbage. As with other delusional right-wing conspiracies, this involves the mytholo…

Propaganda is more powerful and pervasive than ever, I can't even find non-partisan news anymore. Seems like every blog, video, news aggregate on the internet is bankrolled by someone with a bias. It's more like people are learning to call out propaganda when it isn't effective enough to reach them, such as in this case where you and likely most of us are not going to listen to feminist nonsense. But one of their own will eat it up.

Don't forget forced conscription, female exclusion from legal responsibility, support for male violence in female competition and manhood-proving rituals, the concept that domestic violence is male on female and punishment and social shaming for Men who are beaten by wives, circumcision, purity shaming Men into supporting female-centric institutions such as Marriage, the implicit use of Men as providers to force them into dangerous jobs and to single-handedly (as a gender) keep the economy and c…

A large portion of both subreddits spend a retarded amount of time trying to place the blame of gender equality on one another. Men's Rights hasn't devolved yet to the point where only one political perspective can speak.

no I'm not That's fine, but your chart is still wrong. Misandrists and Misogynists are not inherently supportive of their own gender. In fact a lot of the genuine tradcon misogynists hate the idea of Men achieving 'rights' because they see the real problem as Men being no longer having the masculine role. And if men gain more rights for themselves, that would move further to the right on the chart Doesn't make sense. Entitlement now, power yes, but only in that it is of consequence to have power…

And it wasn't called Feminism, nothing was called feminism until 50 years after that date. You could say that Feminism began in 1840 when women gained a right to own property in marriages, but it wouldn't be true. Because feminism didn't exist then. The original feminists claimed that all Women's Rights activists were actually "First wave feminists" and retroactively dubbed them so, that's where this concept comes from and it's blatantly false.

Because american conservatives made the idiotic mistake of trying to make bullying in schools legal on the basis that they couldn't allow gay kids to not be made fun of.
/r/MensRights22/04/13 05:18 AM

That's nonsense. You're assuming a lot of misogynists, I have no idea where their priorities lie but even so you labeled your chart as "PRO MENS RIGHTS". I'm taking rights, and especially Men's rights to mean the classical concept of power for the self, for Men. You're talking about the entitlement of power. MRAs wouldn't even consider power over women to be a male issue, or a Men's Rights issue so placing them in the same little graph is confusing and conflicting.

This is conjecture. How will this help? Why are Misogynists more strongly for Men's Rights than MRAs? Hating one group doesn't mean supporting the other, if anything groups that are strongly in conflict are more harsh to their own members.

Gender Violence law created an actual "Guilty until proven innocent" system where you can expect to be immediately jailed for 48 hours and potentially not be able to speak on your own behalf or present evidence on your own behalf. A couple people in the video were pronounced guilty before the trial ever began. As a result there are 350/average accusations a day of which 90% are false. This is strongly the result of gender ideology and politics. People are protesting the law publicly.

Men who suffered from Domestic abuse were punished and ridiculed. This is where social norms and instinct become dangerous, they had no way of knowing if a second bomb was placed for first responders like the CIA does with drone operators. You jumped in on an argument with no facts or reasoning and your basis was faulty, you need to explain why Double Standards support your ideas and what it means that their are Double Standards. Biology is not unfairly applied, it's simply unfair. You are implicitly using 'Double Standard' to mean that Men are exhibiting privilege as a means to prove your point. I'm fine with using the term as long as we're both using the exact same definition. I don't see that your examples show the double standard as biased toward Men. I suspect you'll find a lot of prejudice is similar because social groups use predictable tactics to shun or expel the unwelcome. That doesn't mean they have ascended to the level of genocide and gendercide, Even though there are many radical feminists who want to and have written about it. The idea behind this is that society is only equal when Women and Men share leadership roles in equal amounts in every field. The implication is that male culture or Men create this inequality and women have had no hand in it. Start? It already is. And it's been codified into the law. http://www.cdc.gov/violenceprevention/pdf/nisvs_report2010-a.pdf#page=27 5.2% of all female rapes are 'attempted rapes' and half of those are by a spouse. Even if the woman said no in the example you quoted and the Man said "Oh okay" it would still be rape because he attempted to penetrate her without consent. Just the fact that she wasn't interested makes it Sexual Violence and the fact that he wanted it makes it sexual coercion which i…

Florida Alimony Reform believes that alimony should work like child support – a fixed amount for a fixed duration. No one fights about child support. Actively comparing women to children while protecting their entitlement to the common law assumption that Men owe their ex-Wives the standard of living they were entitled to during the relationship for the rest of their lives. This was also based on the idea that because Women had no property rights none of the wealth they helped to create was thei…

Soldiering has always been synonymous with rape, war orphans, children's armies, ethnic cleansing etc. Very little "Ink and Tears" are spilled over the rape and murder of the 'enemy', only our own privileged women. The movie "Invisible War" focuses only on western female volunteers being molested or raped in the military because it conforms with the westerns worlds reverence of war and military AND the traditionalist/feminist protection of women. It's extremely typical to oppose war on the basis…

Reddit is designed for popular comments to be seen and unpopular comments to be marginalized. The very idea of Sub-Reddits is based on running away from having to interact with others of different perspectives into little enclaves full of what Redditors call "Circle-jerking". Alimony is not a female created system, it's a female serving system. Like Child-Support and other family-oriented forms of male slavery it is rather ancient and has deep roots in traditionalism. A simple google search will show you that Alimony was practiced in ancient Babylon, that Child Support was signed in by conservative courts in 1808 and that every civilization in history has treated men as disposable worker-bees.

They are connected because conservatives have always been staunch opponents of feminism and democrats have been supporters of feminism. There are no political parties in the US supporting Men's Rights and feminism and traditionalism have both done considerable damage to Men as a group. They also both have a strongly dogmatic system of mythology concerning politics and power. Feminists put total belief in "Patriarchy Theory", the "Critical Race Theory" (as it benefits themselves), "Privilege theo…

I would suggest not placing any faith in e-personalities or ideologues, regardless of how strongly you feel they represent a movement as it leads to either disappointment or faith. This is a good example of intellectual dishonesty, if the majority of posts on this subreddit are garbage Men's Rights is still valid. If they are not, Men's Rights does not become more valid. The highest bar has already been set, the freedom of Men from male disposability and utilitarian slavery. I would read the sidebar for more on these issues and research them extensively on your own to achieve some degree of truth. You're not going to find it by bickering with Redditors.

Women's Rights is what you're attempting to refer to, it is not the same as Feminism. The rights you mentioned predate feminism. Regardless, that's in the past and if you're concerned with civil rights you should start with a group that lacks them. Read the sidebar on "A list of the ways in which men are discriminated against", "Summary of studies on Domestic Violence" and I would also consider reading up the role of feminism in for-profit legislation and the domestic violence industry.

This is somewhat sensationalist as her philosophy of racism did not cause harm to those groups although she certainly would have imposed sterilization on the diseased. Here's the thing, nearly everything you mentioned has a mutually exclusive relationship. The privilege of females in all societies can be acknowledged without encroaching on Women's Rights. The feminist worldview can be a faith-based evasion of female responsibility in our society, and yet still be composed of beings deserving rights and fair treatment. Men and Women's rights can be spoken in the same sentence without provoking your notion of who deserves to 'win' the biggest victim award. You g…

Women cannot be decoupled from the immense privilege their sex affords them. There has always been an enormous body of conservative women who do not believe in feminism, it's meaningless to suggest that there are now more or less. Until women acknowledge their agency in society and capacity to abuse male instinct to fight and slave for their resources and die for their protection the amount of women who claim to be feminists or not simply doesn't matter. The problem with feminism is their very language is offensive to anyone who respects Men. Saying "The Patriarchy" is like calling Martin Luther King "boy" while claiming to acknowledge black issues. The other thing is that there is no reason for feminism to do anything, unless they want a monopoly on the profit side of civil rights.

This removes literally every shred of agency from black women. Also Family planning improves the quality of life for everyone. If you really want Black people to succeed don't suggest that they should carry on their race through economic destitution and the slavery of black men to child support.

Because women come first in the legal system, there is little chance that Men will ever be granted freedom from child support if women don't have the right to abort first. I'm just being realistic not saying it should be that way.

There is no actual basis of proof in the correlations made by the author, and the underlying tone of 'traditionalism benefits everyone!' adds nothing but conservative mythology to the argument. This isn't even a Men's Rights perspective, if anything it is anti-Men's Rights. Flexibility in Men's working schedules is a huge problem with getting hired or advancing in the workplace. The tone of the article is that if we go back to enforced traditionalism Men will once again slave away for the bottom…

This is why the future of the MRM is another retarded left vs. right political battle with no outcome.
