Why not just make another account, pretend to be a dude, get advice from him, and then post all your success on your main account? If he wants to explain anything in voice chat, just make sure you have your mic turned off and say you don't have a working mic.

Agreed. This whole show was just showcasing a bunch of loonies. It felt like a circus show, it was entertaining at first, and then it all just felt very sad. Joe Exotic was probably the worst, but Carole isn't much better. Those pens at BCR are tiny but I don't think there's many other options for the cats themselves. When you look past the - excuse the pun - dancing monkeys, all of the animals are suffering. I'm fully on board with you.

Lonely years? Sounds like you don't enjoy your own company. I would stay single for a while until you realize that it's better to be single than put up with shitty behaviours. I'm at the point where a man is competing with my me time, time with friends and family, and kitty cuddle time. He's going to have to be pretty amazing for me to give up some of my solo time for him.

A few years ago I dated a guy long distance. I was (and still am a little bit) oblivious about people checking out other people. We got back from a fast food place and he was upset and I had no idea why so I asked. "Didn't you see me checking out that girl?" "Uhhh nope, I was eating." "Well, she had a horse's ass!" "What does that mean?" "It means she had a really nice ass!" "... You're attracted to a horse's ass?" You guys, he got SO MAD. I have never heard another person use that phrase ever, …

I believe a guy has to have at least one hobby where he has physical proof that he did something. Music doesn't count because you risk getting into the narcissistic musician territory (fell into this trap already). Music is ok in addition to another another productive hobby. I mean something like painting, woodworking, crochet, plant keeping. Something where he can say, "I made/did this!" Obviously there are some caveats. Cooking and baking can be hobbies as long as they actually enjoy it and ar…

I struggle with healthy snacks but I'm trying to get better. But yeah, he at least usually cooked when I visited. And then he'd eat whole packages of Little Debbie cakes in one sitting. Usually when I wasn't around.

What bothers me about multi-dating is: what if you don't find multiple guys to date? Don't make yourself exclusive for quite a while of course incase another option comes along, but it's so difficult to find multiple guys to date where I live. You don't have to hire that one guy you're dating just because he shows up to the interviews. If you aren't happy talking to this guy for X many months, dump him and continue living your life, just as you were. The big difference as well is that employers …

I briefly dated a cook. He pretty much only ate shitty frozen food and fast food if he wasn't at work.

Also fun fact, there are zero female characters in The Hobbit. There is a brief mention of Belladonna Took (Bilbo's mother if I recall correctly), but she's not actually in the book. I wrote a few essays on Lord of the Rings during university, one was comparing how female characters were written in The Faerie Queene and The Hobbit 300+ years apart. But, uh, I had to use The Lord of the Rings because The Hobbit has no women.

Bumble is the ultimate pickme app. "Here, we know women already put all the effort into a relationship. Why don't you also talk to the guy first."

This is why when I found the troll version of the sub, I switched. It seems a bit safer but I don't frequent is as much anymore just due to having other hobbies. In the troll sub, I find they are much more open minded and are also getting tired of the status quo.

I am so pumped for when my hair goes naturally grey. It's gonna look so cool with purple dye at the bottom. I do this with my natural brunette hair now, so I can only imagine how cool it'll look with grey!

Seriously, I can't imagine doing anyone else's laundry. I never did any of my exs' laundry even if I lived with them. Maybe if it was a true partnership, I'd throw his clothes in the washer and dryer if he treated me exceptionally well, but I draw the line at folding and hanging clothes. I hate doing my own clothes, let alone someone else's. I would also never want anyone else to wash my clothes either. I don't do a whole lot of special things for them, but they're my clothes so they're my respo…

Yeah, and if she were to leave for a week he'd just send the baby with his mom so he'd end up getting a second week off! Also, all the power to moms out there that deal with babies and children. I'd be dropping that baby off at the firestation and my tires would melt with how fast I'd want to drive away.

Good for her for realizing this. I did have the brief image of a handsome man running after toys in the park for her dog that seemingly didn't want to chase them, but then I read a little more. 😂😂😂 When I look at one of my cats, he just starts purring and giving me soft eyes. Makes my heart melt every damn time. I agree that you need someone that just gives you that sort of look and makes you feel at peace just looking at them as well.

It's also been recently proven (this year I think) that the egg still has the choice to deny the first sperm! It can still make a choice. Pretty neat.

Except they don't even praise women that do conform. "Basic B*tch" is a favourite go-to insult for LV people, especially during autumn.

I feel like making collages about LV exes is giving them too much free rent in your mind. You are taking time to find suitable pictures, then arranging them, and then posting them to FDS. You're giving that LVM even more time and energy after you've broken up. Reflect and move on. Yes it's hard but it has to be done. Make collages about levelling up, your future goals, inspiration. Those things deserve your time and energy, not some LVM that you are moving on from. I hope the LVM collage trend d…

Yeeessss. I legitimately just got my referral to get sterilized today. I'm hoping the gyn that I see will give me no issue. I have a binder with research on each method and long term birth control. My nurse practitioner was confident that where I'm so prepared, I shouldn't have much issue getting sterilized. Sorry for gushing, I'm just very excited haha.

That would be fantastic, thanks. I do bring up the kids question early because I don't want them, and I've been met with "it's way too soon to be talking about kids," and "that sounds like a loaded question." I'm almost 30. How do these men not know what they want?? Oh right, they just assume we'll be baby factories. 🙄 I have met a few guys that are also childfree, but we'll see. Need more vetting.

Take that anger and channel it into something productive. Art, protesting, social causes. Do something to try and make a change. Taking up something like boxing may help as well. Something that makes you feel powerful. I have a friend that started lifting and she's doing great at it. I recently joined a women's dart league so that I could surround myself with women. I also try and keep lots of plants around, I've been finding it helps with my mental health.

I understand why you downplay your success. Success comes in many forms whether it's money, education, or any other skill or talent that you have worked hard for. At least he left before you wasted any money on him. I know FDS preaches not spending on a man, but you likely would have in this situation. Good for you for leveling up, and be happy that it chased off some insecure fool. You will do better. Live for yourself.

It did break up a few friendships, one was only for a few years. They were incredibly upset that I called them out on it. And one came back, acknowledged that they were wrong and apologized. Don't come to me for advice, multiple times in a row, with the same problem when you don't even try my advice. The one friend that came back, I actually go to them for their perspective occasionally. I try to take my own advice, but it's so dang hard. So it's good to get another perspective. That experience …

I always ask first if they're actually going to use the advice. Because if they're not, I won't be giving any more advice. If they didn't follow and ask again, I say, "You didn't take my advice to heart last time, so why would this time be different?" It sounds like a question but I say it in a way that makes it a statement.

Buying plants you don't know is pretty standard in the plant hobby this year since it's the pandemic hobby. You've probably noticed that though. Was it nice that he bought a $6 plant for her? Sure. Worth it to get this fucking excited? Nah. These women need to get better dudes. Clearance plant though? Eeeehhhhh. Likely has bugs and/or is half dead so that kind of nullifies any potential "good" intentions that he had. Also, I hope you have your Facebook on lockdown so that random people can't go …

Oh fuck me sis, I have to go hang out on the level up sub to figure out #1. Times have been tough the past few years and I can't afford to move out of my small town. I need to figure out my own goals first. Dating is now on hold until I get this one figured out.
