Be glad you are amicable. It sucks and your daughter will probably hate the fact their parents aren’t together. But it’s either that or your ex will end you and take everything. And who knows what will happens to your daughter. To the best of luck. We are here for you

Shit doesn’t stop. My ex keeps on finding shits to keep on re entering my life despite me not wanting to do anything with her. OP. Talk to someone on the phone. Ask to talk with someone even from here so you can vent even if you have to. Get into a better mental state. All your feelings and the processes you’re going through is valid. If you have kids, focus on them. If you need advice ask here. Both her lawyer, and your lawyer will say shit to get you to fold or make stupid add deals. Don’t let…

This country’s law is simply devilish. Allowing lawyers to whisper evil and prey on the innocent

I was in same situation. What was more messed up was that she also got a TRO on me out of the blue. And I was set to graduate from school in a few weeks. You may need several weeks for a couple of months. You have situational PTSD and depression. It may help if you can talk to someone in similar situation to get a better idea of what to do legally. I believe there are a few groups here that you could look into. The law has made it simply too easy to stack against men

The system is a cluster fuck. They give women everything. And expect to suffer. Too many demons in this world. Go to the gym. Try new hobbies. Hope you feel better

Together for 7. Married for 4. Doesn’t mean shit bro. They’re all fucking crazy. Same shit you went through. I just want to leave this shit hole

Most guys do. Because they want to keep the family together. I should have called the cops when her mom was chasing her dad with a knife in my house. Get those fuckers arrested instead claiming false DV and is now risking my career

Can you leave the country ? I’m giving my self some time to see if I can adjust. If not, I’m gonna leave and enjoy whatever is left of my life. This shit fucking criminalizes you and ruin your life

Yep. Wise choice. Once you have kids. It will get shittier for you. Experiencing it first hand right now. My life is ruined because of one crazy bitch

Yup. Happened me. 6 months after a promotion with higher pay. Started fucking me over out of no where to ruin my life. I encouraged her for higher degree and supported and everything. Fucking trash

I know ít sucks. Life will suck. But at least I’ll be free. Free from the risk of getting arrested and the mental abuse by the system. Divorce criminalizes men. This system is just fucked up

I know I have to record my daughter saying these things. It’s just depressing that I have to do it to a toddler. Who didn’t ask for any of this. All I wanted was the best for her in life and yet is pulled into this hell on earth. It was my lawyer that said that she was surprised by the case management decision. I keep my communication to a minimal with my ex. I agree, I should get a new lawyer, and this is my second lawyer. You can’t tell who’s actually going to help you or not. They’re all croo…

I agree. The problem is these women’s do not feel there is anything wrong for the child to live fatherless. It’s fucking sad. Especially when research shows that single father raised better children than single mothers. And I agree 100%. Why the fuck should we “fight for our children?” Why is that even a thing? They’re OUR children! It’s simply sad

Sadly I’m about to go down the same path. She Destroyed my career as well and was ready to move across the country for her. Nearly 200k salary about to be homeless possibly in a tent. But that’s maybe more peaceful than dealing with a demon for the rest of my life. This world is fucked ip and the system enables it. My advice for all young men out there is to never fucking sign a marriage certificate. You can do the ceremony but don’t sign shit. You can say all you want that you’re different. But…

I’ll try to hear this out til the end. If I feel any bias injustice, I will not stay. Men in this country deserves better. Fucking over 50% divorced rate and 100k+ men commuting suicide doesn’t seem like it’s having an impact on the system. Just pure fucking greed

My quality of life is already down. At this point I’m just watching my daughter being killed infront of me and I can’t do shit about it. I feel horrible for this child. I know her life is going to be shit moving forward because her mother is trash. I don’t really care if they downvote. Their experience isn’t the same. To live here and be treated like this is no way a human should live. That’s why men commit suicide often. It’s the system that fucks them over. Lives seems to be meaningless as lon…

Why does it have to be like that ? Why does it have to be the man versus the world? I was literally on a path to make 200k+. To think half of that is going to a piece of fucking trash for the next 20 years truly fucks me up mentally. And my child asking me to pay more money every time I see her. What’s the point ?

The system is fucked my man. And I’m About to be fucked by it as well. How long does it take for them to contact you once you stop child support ?

Same here. I always encouraged her and supported her when her family shits on her. Now apparently , she planned and screwed me over with false allegation. Saying how I abused her the entire marriage and while she was pregnant. My life is litereally fuked and my career is in jeopardy. Best part, she’s asking for 3k a month In support. Fuck this country.have to go to therapy for ptsd. the therapist doesn’t even know how to respond because it’s so messed up.

This. She initiated with the false allegations that I abused her through out marriage and while she was pregnant. Apparently I turn into an abusive person right after we got married. Not the 7 years we dated prior. My lawyer said to file asap because they’re trying to increase years of marriage for alimony. It’s a sad world. Money drives everything. Western laws are trash for good men out there and will men bad.

Why’ are you offering to pay child support for something that did this to you? I’m also 50/50 and she’s trying to cripple me financially. NJ, gotta love this shit system for men

Fuking judges don’t even care for evidence. The system is too objectively based Even if they advertise as men’s right. All they want is just money. They’ll nickel and dime you until you’re drained. The system is fuked up.

That’s a great idea. Men’s right is non existent in this country. Countless lies and allegations and still they side with the mother. It’s so sad. All for money and greed.

I’m fresh in this and I feel for you. It is hard. At the same time I feel like it is better to close her off complete from yours as well. Women are fuked up, and they don’t care if they kill you. Mine essentially tried to kill me and destroy my life work, defamed me, and I was blindsided. I feel like complete crap in my own community that I brought her into. I have PTSD from the event and I still think about our family. I know it’s not healthy and I help as well and I’m trying. Worst part is tha…

OP. I feel you on this one. People who earns even slightly high are fuked now. Hopes and dreams of owning a house and raising a family is gone. Work and making money now is almost useless. The legal system orders you to pay them $1000 a month in child support so they don’t have to do jack and fuk other guys. While you pay 3k a month in rent and eat ramen packets. Basically just living to breathe at this point and hope to see your kid for 50% of their life. Be glad she didn’t pull the false DV ca…

I agree with this as well. We can’t even fight. Basically most men can only sit and and eat crap thrown at them. Court sides with women even on false allegation. It’s a sad and messed up country

I feel like my x is trying to get me to end me too. These people are so evil and the law enables them to do so.

It’s hard to be compassionate and considerate for her because even if you show consideration during this time, she still doesn’t gives a crap and treats you as such. So basically you’re being considerate but getting crap in return

Supported mine jumping jobs to get higher pay and go for trainings etc… schemed and kept things hidden behind my back for months to get me angry to “act out”. Then blindsided me with all this stuff. Literally overnight, my life and child was ripped from me. I’m 2 months in and feel so betrayed and lost trust in humanity. No sleep, poor appetite, and lack of enjoyment from anything in life at this time. It’s simply sad what this world has became and the sick stuff that people are willing do. I’m …

These stories are so freaking common it’s scary. Same boat as you OP. My 4 year was kept from me. False accusation. The whole ordeal. Legal system just don’t care about men. We’re just one more modern day slave that will pay into the legal system.

They hand out TRO like hotcakes. Not a single ounce of thought goes into them. Western society has made the legal system into a cash cow. Just feel lucky you don’t have kids. They’ll try to use them as pawns, it’s pretty sick.
/r/Divorce_Men06/06/23 11:21 AM

This is what hurts the most. They won’t tell you why. That just mentally screws people over for the rest of their lives. They destroy lives and won’t even give a reason as to why. The long term relationships and how that we went through meant nothing. It is simply wrong in all aspect of the word and sickening.

I climb, but have not been since this whole event. Everything just feels so unenjoyable and unmotivated. I hope to maybe get motorcycle in the future. It simply just sucks right now and it’s almost impossible to see the light. Just once they sick the legal system on you, your life is just completely gone. From here on out, it’s just unnecessary spending towards the legal system. Thank you a bunch for caring

Dude, this is the most fuked up part. Same thing happened to me. Of course when it came to filing the report, she didn’t mention or claim that she erased my work stuff, just “arguing about computer”.
