That's not freedom though. And yes, the state CAN and DOES tell women what to do, just like it does for men. That's why it's the state. A religion also tells you want to do, but that's far more voluntary than your interactions with the state. And a husband also tells his wife what to do, just like a wife tells her husband what to do. It's a partnership. You have no fucking clue what freedom is nor what actually will make you happy in life. GTFO of here.

No, it really doesn't. Maybe in the extreme short term, but not in the long term when it will inevitably lead to the collapse of civilization.

They should be allowed to do so. They shouldn't be encouraged, as in unsolicited. If you are of a particular relation to the specific woman in question and you want to encourage her individually, go ahead. Just realize you are most likely setting her up for a life of success but no fulfillment.

No, it isn't a good thing. Traditional masculinity is what created civilization. Soyboys in the 1000's would either have that shit beat out of them or they would die alone and unloved for being worthless.

Sure it is, when the government is footing the room and board bill. Public jails cost $30,000 per prisoner. Private jails $8,000 That's not true at all. The variability between the states' costs is much greater than the variability of public and private prisons within each state. While it is true that private prisons do have lower costs, it is almost entirely due to shittier treatment of inmates and poorer-quality facilities.

Compared to other industries, no it isn't. All industries employ people, that's not a mark towards profitability.

Actually, just holding the prisoners is not terribly profitable. Selling their de facto slave labor is where the big $$ is at.

Very true, but I would say one thing When you encounter the inevitable difficulty, as in not being able to grasp a concept quickly as you are wont to do, Still haven't encountered that. Still have problems because once you graduate, no one gives a shit if you are smart. They only care if you can make them money. And you don't make money by being smart; you make money by working hard and being a relatable person that others want to do business with. That's a skill that only comes with practice an…

you just don't understand what it takes to join the elite in America. My father and his brother are both doctors. He didn't go to medical school until I was in kindergarten. I know exactly what it takes because I watched him make all the sacrifices. He's happy with it. I decided it wasn't for me. Also all doctors are surgeons now? That family practice doctor making $150k a year is totally going to do some emergency surgery on that "coding" toddler, eh? You are so full of shit, it is hilarious. D…

Doctors are respected more than bureaucrats because it's harder to become a doctor Counting senior executive and judicial branch positions, there's only about 1000 spots in politics with real sway in the grand scheme of things. There are about 1 million physicians in the US. It's a lot harder to become a big time politician than it is to become a doctor. Also, even if you assume that every single doctor in America counts as alpha, they would still only make up 3.2% of the "top 20". In short, far…

Also, politicians do hold a vast amount of the power, that's why they are lobbied by Wall Street and not the other way around. That being said, my profession is very well respected on Wall Street as well, since every single bank and large investment firm has at least a few of us in senior staff positions. But good for you, jumping to conclusions.

you have to be smarter to become a doctor No. You just have to have a good memory and the ability to read dry medical texts for 60 hours a week. Also, being a doctor doesn't get you laid because you are an alpha. It gets you beta bux fucked. Women want doctors because of the lifestyle they will have, period. Anything beyond that is 100% due to the man himself, and has nothing to do with his profession. The same skills that will make you a good doctor will make you a good corporate lawyer or an e…

Money doesn't affect your SMV. It affects your RMV. Unless you are so poor that you literally can't afford to buy presentable clothes, it's not going to make any difference. Remember, it's Beta Bux, not Alpha Bux.

I'm not trying to make the case that $160k will go just as far in NYC as other places. Far from it. But that doesn't change the fact that $160K is the cutoff to be in the top 5% of all earners. I didn't make the point before, but I will now: If you are like the 11 out of 12 Americans that DON'T live in NYC or San Francisco, $160k is PLENTY enough to "live comfortably." The insinuation I have often seen reported here is that you need to shoot for $250k or higher in order to be alpha. That's just …

"The Left" does not exist as a hegemonic entity the way conservativism does. It's easy to point to the past and say let's keep doing things that way. Pointing to the future there are a billion and one ways that you could choose to go. Feminism and liberalism are not the same thing, and you can absolutely have one without the other.
/r/TheRedPill30/01/15 11:59 PM

Liberalism and feminism are not the same thing. Liberalism is all about using the government to provide equal opportunity for all citizens. Nothing within TRP is against the concept of equal opportunity, quite simply because TRP teaches that if you improve yourself and hold yourself to a higher standard, women will flock to you and want to live in your frame. Remember, most forms of equality are actual good for everyone. TRP is more about the fact that sexually, there is more of a dualism than w…

Also depends on respected by whom. My field is very highly respected in the halls of true power, but most people think its boring and it doesn't ever win me points in a SMP context. A field like being a doctor will be respected by more people but is far less likely to have your opinion taken seriously when it comes to setting national policy.

100k is still near the top 10%. Could you be happy only making $34k? That's a different story.
/r/TheRedPill30/01/15 10:07 PM

"Comfortably" is the key word. Income does tend to cluster around big cities, but less than 5% of workers make more than $160k. Chances are it won't be you.
/r/TheRedPill30/01/15 10:06 PM
14

Absolutely. But I do think that people put waaay too much emphasis on money and income in this sub. To be in the top 50% of earners you only need to make $34k. The top 25? $68k The top 10%? $114k. The top 5%? $160k. $160,000 will put you in the top 5% of all incomes in the US. It's really not that much. Dudes act like you need to make 250k at a minimum. It's a joke.
/r/TheRedPill30/01/15 09:48 PM

There's a difference between being PC and being sexist. I feel like a lot of people who come in this sub think that just because women are a certain way means that they are worthless or you can just shit all over them. There is a lot of that in this thread. And it's never a good idea to give your enemies an unforced error, whether you care about them or not. If you know they are gunning for you, don't give them an inch unless you have to. That's all I meant.

The way you are framing it doesn't make it seem like your issue is "99% of women can't pass muster." It makes it sound like you have an issue with women in general. If that's not the case, you really should be more cognizant of how you are presenting your message, because that's the kind of bullshit that gives anti-TRP people ammunition.

The post is titled "Signs of the End." So yeah, its being hyperbolic. Furthermore, the systematic weakening of our military being a bad thing is a presupposition. It needs to be justified. I personally think it is a good thing. 99% of the current geopolitical problems we are facing right now are the direct result of our past fucking around with other countries' sovereignty using our military. We would be in a better place if we hadn't done so.

Yeah I see that. But it's also the first time that women have been held to the higher standard. Eventually there will be a woman who can do the Infantry Officer course as well. There won't be a 45% success rate like there is for men, but that doesn't really matter.

My point is that some, albeit very few women can pass the male tests, and that the pendulum seems to be swinging the other way in regards to gender inequal testing, at least at the most elite levels within the military. No, I am saying that in terms of the % of the total population that chooses to enlist and the % of active duty servicemen that voluntarily choose to re-enlist has been steadily declining for years. 2014 saw the DOD meet their recruitment goals, but those goals are much smaller than 10 years ago. I worked in retail banking in New York. I had many opportunities to meet some of the people that worked on for trading firms and finance firms. They were universally below average intelligence jagoffs that were very ambitious and hard working. None of them were exactly critical thinkers. They followed the script; they stepped on the necks of everyone in their way without a second thought; they got very rich. They were also generally pretty miserable. That wasn't your point. Your point was that the strong dollar was "hurting the stock market." Guess what, the stock market doesn't give much of a shit, since money will flow to wherever the return is greatest, and those Fortune 500 companies are basically like countries in their own right. Holding frame is resisting and fliping the script on the fly to the point where she backs of or even apologises for going of program. You cannot control the behavior of other people. You shouldn't try. If someone absolutely refuses to be a part of your frame, you get the fuck out. You don't keep trying until you "win." I know that TRP likes to pretend that AWALT means that all women are cock-slobbering whores, and that just isn't true. There are basic behaviors that they all do, but that doesn't mean all women do them to the same degree or to the same extent. Some women are the female equivalents of beta bux, and no, not just because they are fat or ugly.
/r/TheRedPill30/01/15 06:25 PM

That's only because Picard has proven himself before, to the point that Riker knows he can trust his judgement even if it doesn't make sense to him at the time. You haven't seen the years of trust that built the relationship. But those tests were there.

Of course she can. But that's what holding frame is all about. And if she continues to fuck with you to the point of it being a problem, you just drop her and go solo or with your other friends. You still aren't making a coherent point. Will a female shit test? Yes, we all know that. Can you keep shit under control? If you are good enough, absolutely. What then is the disadvantage of having a female wingman? Please explain.

Military academies and ROTC programs =/= the actual Armed Services. They are feeder programs. And while the Air Force and Navy have adopted gender-biased standards, it doesn't really matter since they don't do much combat anyways. The Marines held firm in equal standards and it paid off. The Army is considering moving back towards equal standards, even though they recognize that fewer women will qualify.
/r/TheRedPill30/01/15 05:49 PM
21

Wrong. They reaffirmed their commitment to equal standards and surprise, surprise three women actually made it through infantry school on 100% equal footing. Other branches are considering losing the gender-biased requirements as well. You guys really need to keep up with current events.
/r/TheRedPill30/01/15 05:45 PM
4

You are straight up wrong. The Marines recently revised their standards, and will no longer allow for exceptions based on gender. If women want to pass the infantry course or the officer school, they must do it on equal footing with the men. Just this past October, three women did exactly that. The general consensus in the military is actually moving away from what you are describing.

A crutch is something that you need to achieve success. An advantage is something that makes your job easier, like having a woman in your posse. The number 1 fear of women that go out on dates or to the club is being the victim of violence, whether that's rape murder or otherwise. Having a woman already in your group serves as social proof that the risk is much lower for you. It relaxes the target and makes your life easier. Uh, no. A.) When you make $500/hr. you can afford to be choosy. I would only have to work 3 hours a week to match my take home pay. B.) I have seen documentaries about gigalos. You would be very surprised how attractive some of the women are. They are just starved for romance and affection, not sex. The sex is still a bonus for me though.

Especially since you consider that maybe it didn't even happen. Maybe some guy did flirt with her and she appreciated the validation, and even though she didn't get the tingles it got her hamster working overtime. She tells you she gave him her number because she thinks that will piss you off (Guess what, it did). She could just be fucking with your head. Like others have said, create some distance, make it obvious you are looking for other options, and let her be the one that makes the choice.

The men an average woman can get to commit to relationship is generally 2-3 points lower, sometimes much more, than a man she can pull for sex. Not necessarily. Your typical alpha actually has a very low RMV, quite simply because he won't commit. The two numbers are fairly independent of each other. (Unless you mean 2-3 points lower in SMV points, which is probably true)

The first one is easy enough to combat as long as you involve an actual lawyer in the process. The second one CAN happen, but it doesn't that often. Mostly because rags to riches stories like that are very rare to begin with.
/r/TheRedPill28/01/15 04:38 AM

So there's no problem then. Just don't stop going after other women as well or you risk massive oneitis.
/r/TheRedPill28/01/15 04:36 AM

Again, that's bad advice. That's what they want you to do. If you do what they want, they know they have you. If you make them wait, it shows you are not at their beck and call and they you have better shit to do besides talk to them. It puts you in the position of power instead of the other way around. That's pretty basic stuff.

it is quite clear that prenupts are regularly thrown out in court Yeah, that's not really true. Pre-nups that are thrown out are done so because either: A.) The law in that jurisdiction doesn't allow for pre-nups to be considered, or B.) The pre-nup tries to enforce a provision that is not allowed by law. In any other case, the pre-nup is a binding legal contract and must be respected. It's extremely rare for a prenup to be thrown out when A & B don't apply.

Yes, but giving a woman money because she spends time with you and chooses to have sex with you out of the "goodness of her heart" is not illegal. It's only illegal when it's quid pro quo, which this is clearly not.

It's funny how things like that work. I am committed to a life of poverty (not that I don't make a lot, I just don't spend it and I buy solidly built but no brand name wares). even if you go to the ground. Wrestling doesn't teach you basics like protecting your face, etc. There are plenty of moves that are totally boss in a wrestling context but leave you wide open to get your kidney shived by someone who doesn't give a fuck. It teaches you leverage and how to maintain balance, but it's not meant for fighting.

Which is exactly my complaint when Joe Rogan says that UFC has proven that BJJ is the "best martial art". No, it hasn't. It's proven that in a one-on-one fight with very rigid rules that favor grappling over striking, it's the best martial art. But what happens when you go to the ground and lock someone up but his friend is still standing next to you? You are fucked.
/r/TheRedPill26/01/15 06:21 PM

wrestling is a good base for martial arts training, but if that's all you know, you will get your ass kicked.
/r/TheRedPill26/01/15 06:18 PM
3

While I admit that a lot of martial arts are jokes, I had the fortune of training several years with an Aikido master that believed in basically nothing but sparring. There's nothing wrong with the techniques and philosophies, just in how they are taught. If BJJ was taught the same way a lot of fraudulent aikido instructors do, it would be just as useless.
/r/TheRedPill26/01/15 06:18 PM
3

It really depends on your trainer's style and level of practical application techniques. A dude that only throws haymakers is an EASY target for a practiced aikido student. It's basically the exact type of opponent you would hope for with that sort of training; someone who puts too much force and momentum into their punches.
/r/TheRedPill26/01/15 06:16 PM
3

There's nothing wrong with Aikido and in certain situations its easily the best training to have (like in situations where you need to defend yourself but for outside reasons, you can't beat the shit out of your attacker, say for instance it's her drunk father) It really just depends on your teacher and whether they believe in mainly practical application of theory or just mindlessly running through katas.

I think the bigger issue is that marriage is no longer about raising children. It's a very recent phenomenon that marriage should be about "love". It's the main factor driving divorce. In the past, marriage infidelity on both parts was largely overlooked since you evaluated your marriage on "Is she a good mother?" and "Is he a good provider?" not "Are they fucking someone else?" Unless we swing back to that idea, marriage will continue to be a bad investment for men AND women.

Lol typical woman-think that reasons because you allowed someone accomplished to blow a load in your vagina, you are now somehow better for that experience. I'm sure even Don Juan and Casanova banged an uggo on a particularly thirsty day. That doesn't say anything about the conquest; it says everything on the male biological urge to nut. It's amazing to me the mental gymnastics that women will go through to make themselves feel better.
/r/TheRedPill26/01/15 05:36 PM

However, my question was how many Alphas need the Red Pill? ZERO. That's the point. If your behavior is what defines you (and it totally is) then someone who is naturally alpha will be functionally indistinguishable from someone who is a long time practitioner of TRP advice. That's not to say natural alphas couldn't benefit from having a wider base of experience and feedback to draw from, but in terms "needing" the Red Pill, it will make only minor improvements in their lives, as opposed to the …
/r/TheRedPill26/01/15 05:31 PM

How many alphas do you know that ask women for advice on how to make themselves more attractive? So who is actually asking this question? Think about that for a second.
/r/TheRedPill26/01/15 06:53 AM

"Being yourself" does not mean self-improvement. I don't know where all you idiots get that from. Of course self improvement is good advice. THAT'S NOT WHAT WOMEN ARE TELLING YOU TO DO.

They aren't "being themselves" either.
/r/TheRedPill25/01/15 08:25 PM

As long as you are striving to be your best self That's a pretty big assumption.
/r/TheRedPill25/01/15 02:22 AM

Because neither one is being fake? When betas actually start faking it, they do better than when they were "being themselves". So it's disingenuous to say that fakers are a turnoff.

My grandfather never would have said that. He would have said, "Shut your fucking bellyaching and BE A MAN." That is great advice, unlike what women say. Not everyone's self is all that great.

/r/TheRedPill24/01/15 04:40 PM

But betas aren't being any more fake than alphas. Its disingenuous on women's part to call out that "they only want sex" when they are fully willing to provide only sex to alphas willingly. Actions speak louder than words. If you want to know what attracts a woman, just watch what she responds to and ignore anything she says.
/r/TheRedPill24/01/15 04:39 PM

Also 1000 years ago was hardly long enough for what you are thinking of. That was the heart of the middle ages, with very strong family and social structures designed to keep the masses placated. Marrying off young men was a HUGE part of that.

Yes. its good advice if you have already arrived or you are already on your way. But its terrible advice if you are the type of person asking women for hints, because that means you've already lost.
/r/TheRedPill23/01/15 07:20 PM
2

That's similarly terrible advice. Hide that shit and never mention it. If he finds out, deny, deny, deny. If he makes a stink, get a divorce. It's totally in your favor as a woman.
/r/TheRedPill23/01/15 07:19 PM
2

A.) I was merely sharing a thought I had. Calm the fuck down. B.) Just be yourself is terrible advice to attract women unless you are already attracting women. C.) Becoming an alpha isn't about being yourself. It's about improving yourself and becoming someone you never were before. D.) You really need to calm the fuck down.
/r/TheRedPill23/01/15 07:18 PM

It's good advice if you aren't a complete fuck up. But either way its very self serving for women none the less.
/r/TheRedPill23/01/15 07:15 PM
1

Hardly. Besides all of the progress of mankind in the past 2000 years has come because we allowed men to stop worrying about getting pussy and focus their energy on more important things. Going back to the old might makes right paradigm will stunt society's progress.
/r/TheRedPill23/01/15 07:15 PM

It DOES work, though. From their point of view. Which is what I'm trying to say. I don't think it has to be an actual conspiracy for women to just sort of vaguely understand the concept on a subconscious level.
/r/TheRedPill23/01/15 07:13 PM

I can't say that I agree with him. Fake it till you make it works. That's being someone you're not, isn't it? Maybe he's saying don't go outside the zone that you can comfortably pull off, e.g. Nicolas Cage shouldn't try to do serious readings of Shakespeare.

/r/TheRedPill23/01/15 02:16 PM
2

I disagree. The concept of what a "Man" is and how a "Man" should behave is mostly culturally constructed. That's not the first thing I consider when I try to define myself. I'm not sure if that's just because "being a man" is background noise to me at this point or what, but I don't consciously define myself that way, even though many of the things I do use to define myself fall very neatly within the "Man" framework.
/r/TheRedPill23/01/15 02:15 PM

They do know better. There was an AskReddit thread like 2 days ago where women were actually admitting that having a low SMV man hit on them was insulting. They want to be able to weed out low SMV men, and not get "tricked" into giving up their pussy power to the wrong dude. If a low SMV man acts like a low SMV man, he's very easy to spot and avoid.

I have a borderline retarded friend who I am 100% sure would have responded with "I'm the dude that is going to be fucking all three of your friends here later tonight." Probably would have pulled it off too. He is naturally outcome independent and has an IDGAF attitude because his brain doesn't function on a normal level, but women eat that shit up. Being around him is a constant reminder that there's pretty much no escalation too far.

Well honestly it makes makes me reconsider two very uncomfortable topic areas: atheism and feminism. While I remain very opposed to Magic Sky Man as a concept, I feel like organized religion actually has real value as a form of social control. All of the women I know that still are very religious are just as hypergamous as any other women in that they feel the temptation. But the guilt and social ostracisation that comes with that sort of behavior in a religious context keeps them from acting on…

This is the thing that most people miss about this sort of thing. Male game is focused on getting what we want: sex with attractive men. I totally disagree. American women are taught that they "deserve" certain things and they don't need to do anything except show up. There are literally HUNDREDS of things that a woman can do to get you to commit to her.

The craziest thing about it is that women can actually recognize their own solipsism intellectually and then immediately flip 180 and claim it's the only thing that matters. I once had a very long conversation with a female acquaintance about how feminism always promotes a victim mentality. We get onto the topic of men and domestic violence. I bring up the example of me being irrationally afraid of being eaten by sharks despite the fact the risk of being even attacked by one is astonishingly low…

you can disagree all you want. Men don't hate lower value men. They control them, they use them, maybe just ignore them. But they don't hate them. Why would they? Women, on the other hand, hate low value men. As society becomes more and more feminized, we see more and more examples of low value men being shamed just for existing.

That's a misleading statistic. Only about 25% of marriages where both partners are being married for the first time end in divorce. The rest k is made up of serial divorcees. Of course that doesn't change your point any, it actually makes it more urgent to get a prenup.
/r/TheRedPill19/01/15 09:49 PM

Partially, yes. Science sets the benchmarks. There is still room to have a discussion about when life begins, but arguing that a zygote is a human is patently ridiculous. The absolute earliest that you can call a fetus a human is after the formation of a rudimentary brain, which happens usually in the eighth week of gestation.

OK fine. Let's analyze the probability that his wife would accept a weak burn instead of the fist fighting savage animal that she was actually looking for? A man would accept it. A woman is not rational in the same way and some think about it from the other persons point of view. I highly doubt it works have made a difference. A.) That's not exactly a burn. It seems really weak to me in fact. How is that standing up for himself? He knew his wife was a slut before he married her. He can't pretend to be offended now. You made your bed, and now you have to sleep in it. If it's that big of a deal, DON'T MARRY HER IN THE FIRST PLACE. There is literally NEVER a reason to fight another man over a woman.

The problem is that TRP is a tool. A chainsaw in the hands of a master can create art. A chainsaw in the hands of a lot of people in this thread can create "The Hills Have Eyes". I'm 100% sure that those competing opinions are coming from two different camps within TRP, not from one group of dudes. Otherwise, you'd kind of have to accept that TRP hates women. Since I know that isn't true, I can safely reject the situation that necessarily leads to that conclusion.

Very easy answer to this question: Swallowing the red pill requires you to accept the world as it is. If sexual strategy were truly amoral, the best strategy would be to rape weak women. You would impliment tactics of force and violence. In a vacuum, yes. But we don't live in a vacuum. We live in a civilized society where rape gets you put in jail, severely limiting your reproductive potential. So it's still an amoral choice not to rape. By the way, calling someone an idiot = stone cold stupidity. If you can't come up with a better word, you're a donut punching ass pirate.

Tactics are implemented during battle. In this case, "battle" would be your approach of a woman. Strategy is what you intend to do to get her to sleep with you. Tactics are how you execute that strategy. There's only one winning strategy. That's the whole fucking point of TRP. Me=right. You…

I'm not changing words. Sexual strategy is a well established phrase on this forum. I just don't think you know what the fuck it means. Besides, strategy has always been what generals do, tactics are for your captains, out leading the troops into actual combat. That's always the case. The strategy defines your objectives, the tactics help you achieve them.

/r/TheRedPill12/01/15 12:28 AM

You really can't though. That's the whole fucking point of TRP: to accept the reality of women. If you don't do the things that lead to female attraction, you will not have sex. There are millions of ways to achieve the same goals, but the overarching goals are immovable.

No, you can change up the tactics. The strategy (aka the overarching plan) is always the same: Feed her energy, pull her into your frame, get her alone. If you aren't doing that, you aren't going to have sex.

Ayn Rand was a hypocrite, a racist, a hater of poor people, and just generally a bad person. Her philosophies don't stand up to intellectual scrutiny, and if you feel like there is ANY benefit to civilized society (you know like, the internet, TV, electricity, not having to shit in a hole in the ground, AC, etc.) then you have to reject her basic premise. Unless you are comfortable living straight outta Hobbes' Leviathan, you aren't a Randian.

Marriage is not falling apart because of promiscuity. It's falling apart because its no longer primarily an economic arrangement for the purpose of raising kids. Nowadays its all about "do I love this person?". Given the societal acceptance of just generally being selfish, of course something built on self-gratification will start to fall apart.
/r/TheRedPill11/01/15 10:15 PM

No sexual strategy is the strategy you must employ to have sex. There's not much you can do to vary it (in a free, consensual exchange that is). Hence why it is amoral. But I always have the free choice to NOT use sexual strategy in any given situation, and that is where the morality aspect comes it. I never defined sexuality but if I had to, I would probably say that ease of applying sexual strategy is your level of sexuality. i.e. you don't have to work as hard = you are "sexier".

So you are going to continue to ignore the question? Or are you insinuating that Machiavelli just said that shit to curry favor but didn't actually believe it? /r/TheRedPill11/01/15 09:41 PM
1

No. I am saying that like men, women like exotic things, but the shine wears off very quickly and they go back to the comfortable level of normal they are used to. If you are having trouble with American women, just remember that having asian or indian genes doesn't mean shit. They don't like asian and indian cultural signifiers. "Act white" and speak English without an accent and they won't even give the fact that you are Indian a second thought.
/r/TheRedPill11/01/15 01:56 AM

I know a couple guys like that and basically women find them more attractive than a similar build/personality type white guy. It tends to not last past the honeymoon phase though. One extremely noticeable caveat though is that they all act very American and speak English perfectly. I have no idea if the whole "exotic" thing actually holds when they really are exotic and not just a minor variation of the same shit.
/r/TheRedPill11/01/15 01:40 AM

That paper gives a pretty bullshit explanation. Why would being attractive have anything to do with your fetus being androgen-resistant? There is clearly some other factor linking the two. In one context, yes you do need followers. But i guess my contention is more that your leadership and other people's following your leadership are time independent of one another. Also I would also posit that you are still a leader if people follow you ideas without being aware that they belong to/ were influenced by you. It's basically saying that Descartes' affirmation that "I think, therefore I am" cannot be logically extended to other individuals, from my own perspective. (And vice vers…

Yes, I read the sidebar definition. It's a very incorrect use of the term. I am trying to figure out whether that is because people don't care, or it's just the closest term that anyone could come up with (since English isn't like German where you can just make up new words on the fly.)

One of her best points that still makes me laugh is the cognitive dissonance that feminists have about saying that women should be sexually liberated and free to express their sexuality however they want, including by sleeping with a lot of men. But then they turn around and say that the type of man who sleeps with lots of women in one-night stand fashion is a misogynist, because he is "treating a woman as a prize instead of a person with feelings", blah blah blah. So by facilitating the behavio…

Actually, I HATE my last name. It was the source of so much undeserved shit as a child. I would totally take hers if it sounded good with my first and middle names. My other option that I am leaning more and more towards (since it's becoming less and less likely I will ever be convinced to get married) is to just bite the bullet, pay the $700 and make one up for myself that I like. We'll see....

probably because interperson variation is much bigger than intergender average variation. Also this would be news to me in the first place. Can we get some peer reviewed citiations, at a minimum?

I disagree with you on the women's suffrage part. When that piece of shit Scott Walker got reelected, the only group that he won a majority of was high-school-only white males. Unfortunately, there are a lot of those in Wisconsin. Voting isn't an interpersonal reaction and it happens on such a long time frame that emotions rarely come into your decision making process.

When you have two completely incompatible beliefs, cgnitive dissonance is what happens and how you deal with it. Thoughts and beliefs inconsistent with actions is call hypocrisy.

It's really a shame about this kind of nonsense. My required gender studies course in college was taught by a woman, but it turned out to be one of the most factually based and enlightening courses I had ever taken. Basically, the point of her class was feminists are bullshit and lying to you about equality because if they actually wanted equality, they would be focusing on men's issues (not MRW though shit like how men aren't allowed to socialize healthy emotions and the unrealistic and unfair …

Thunderfoot made a great video talking about that a while back. The best part imo was I couldn't figure out why the fuck the Call me maybe video was playing in the background when he normally has static images. He tied his smackdown neatly together with a great line about "and sometimes maybe can mean hell yes" or something like that.

You know who slut shames? Women do. To other women. Cat fights galore. Anyone who thinks men slut shame needs to spend more time with women, and I'll tell them that to their faces without batting an eye. Absolutely. Occasionally, you get dudes upset because women won't sleep with him, so he starts calling them sluts. He's really only saying that because he knows it will hurt, but what he is really mad about is that they aren't slutty enough! Same thing goes for dudes upset because their LTR chea…

You can't have you cake and eat it too. You agreed to the rules, now live up to them. You can't get all butthurt and start acting like a bitch just because they didn't work out in your favor one time. On second thought, go ahead and hard next her and spare her your bullshit.

I'm not the person to ask about that. Go reread How to win friends. It's a best seller for a reason.

Are you seriously asking if every single woman in the world is an AWALT? Cause the answer is obviously no. If you are happy and she is happy, where's the fucking problem? But don't let her get away with shit like a silent treatment or other passive aggressive bullshit. There is a huge difference between respecting yourself and your masculinity and being the person who "makes all the decisions".

The worst part is I googled pics of the author and her husband. She's really weird looking. All he needs is a red pill awakening and maybe some testosterone supplements and she'd be gone.
